What would you like to know? I have been a couching user and XL user since launch.

Not sure if it’s been covered, but how about talking favorite bowls that work well with CL XL?

My first impression is that the bowl size for XL may be overkill but I’m really not sure about that… How do you feel about the bowl size of the standard vs XL? Have you measured what amounts typically fit in each? Which one do you reach for most often ?

I love my Couchlog XL, it's probably my most used desktop. To be completely honest, I haven't reached to my OG CL much since getting it Can't really talk about the bowls as I've only used my OG with the stock stem (hmm, maybe I should show it some love and also try it with a CC diffuser bowl) and CL XL - with a GVB injector bowl, this is one of my favorite combos:

I am absolutely a sucker for the glass bowl sold by 420eng. The unit itself is 18mm, so you literally can turn an 18mm thing into a bowl. Got a 18mm downstem and a screen...you got yourself a bowl. You really don't need too much past what the manufacturer offers to increase experience past glass and attachments.

Also won't break like glass, but I do enjoy my VGoodiez glass injector. Maybe I should finally pull the trigger on a JoDa glass bowl and see why people seem to love it.

The dreeze and Joda are very nice for micro dosing with the 14mm cl. Not necessary imo but nice to have

For wood with a lot of resin. I try to 'burn them out' with a hot XL heater to get rid of most of it. If there's any resin left, it will definitely stick to the heater, but it's not permanent. You can scrub it off.

Just got my xl upgrade from OG and Wow! One thing is that the number on my og dial is up to 9 before the xl will roast a cl 18mm glass injector bowl. That’s about 2 higher than og needs for 14mm same bowl. I’m plenty happy as my controller will push both! I have the xl controller(unmarked unfortunately) and wonder if it is a different voltage overall or the same unit I have? This thing is cool!

I have just upgraded to the XL and am stoked! I have vgoodies and CL glass bowls for both OG and XL. I am loving this thing. I am putting the same .15-.2 scoop in both and get great hits. The pick up time between hits is non existent on the XL and that's nice for sure. The OG sits with a cooler heat shield than the XL which gets hot to hold at the temps I run. My plan was to upgrade to the XL and try to trade my OG for a BakX or better, but now I think I may NEED both. I am in log heaven for now. HMU with any OG trade ideas(my Kingwood spec. is sweet)

Both controllers will work for both logs. They use the same board inside.

I love it! It's super basic and works like a charm. Hits hard! Did you get the "one" bowl or the "z" or the diffuser?

XL bowl size is great! Two depths with screen notches for each. Both work great. I put .2 in everything and get a coughing one and done or two big rips with both og and xl. I love VGoodiEZ glass injector bowls for both. Xl crushes a bowl if you want to choke and that’s nice. Gotta session slower with og, but love both. I’ve got a freeze for og and an Ed’s on the way for xl! I’ll report on Ed’s fit. The xl is even more hybrid as 18mm diffuser shape too.

Gotta love how intense the CL can be with a BB9 and Omni tip. Loving the stainless bowl hack.

Also, a couple of pics in there of my new glass bowl from @VaPeD&CoNfUsEd (JoDa glass). Have been meaning to get this guy. First bowl was already really nice but I will be adjusting that basket now that I can! Better than fiddling with the heater to match the bowl.

I'm looking into getting some j hook/dry pipe to use with the Couchlog. I was thinking of getting the sherlock hook from Vgoodiez but was told by the Vgoodiez team that it may not fit. Has anyone used this or a similar vapor sherlock pipe with their Couchlog? I was planning on getting the V3 injector to use with the j hook.

I was suggested the hammer pipe in the "Glass 101" thread as another option. Has anyone tried this one with a their log?

Happy to listen to other suggestions (under $40) I may not be aware of.

I'm pretty sure that combo will work because I use something very similar. I have this sherlock from dhgate and the V3 injector from VGoodiez and there's enough clearance for the Couchlog. My hook is 18mm so I use a reducer. I understand their concern it may not work though because the bowl will be close to the stem of the hook, as will the CL.

I found this picture in the VGoodiez comments section for the sherlock and it looks like the CL should fit on top there... it's not that wide.

(I use level 5 for the glass adapters with basket screen and level 3 for the standard herb chamber, it's just amazing!)

Simple and effective (in any situation), this vape will never leave my working desk and is most certainly my end-game vape! I'm personally stopping VAS here after the last trilogy of Ryan RBT/HT projects I pre-ordered.. although.. I still haven't invested in the Vapman and Lotus

I'm now going to devote myself entirely to my own projects

Looks to be a 14 to 18 female to female adapter. Then you can get all sorts of 18mm male stems. That's pretty genius and I may have to give it a try

Just thinking the very same. I've use the stainless bowl as a DV adapter with a BB9 and also used standard glass injector bowls with a j-hook but never considered this glass solution. Nice! I have a lot of 18mm stems/mouthpieces I could pair this with.

Unfortunately it no longer exists.. but I think another female-to-female adapter from 14 to 18mm will work perfectly (simply find the right setting using the controller). This one has a 19/22 frosted connection (of course, just adjust to your stem preferences):



You could even try a 14 to 14mm female adapter as well for microdosing, or a 14mm female mouthpiece directly for use with a screen (using the internal shoulder). There are so many possible options

The mouthpiece measures 120mm and I don't know where it comes from (probably RBT) as I received it with my Milaana 2 bought second-hand from @Custom Flower Hardware.. this one is in 19/22 and use basket screen. In fact, as long as you have the adapter, any compatible stem will do
