    @ataxian
    Thanks!

I'm too slow in responding! I hate when work gets in the way of work! Haha!

Thanks for the kind words! Glad you like what the mods bring to the vape sessions!

    Thanks @grokit

Proud new owner of a SSV! I've wanted one of these things for years, but eventually settled with the Da Buddha because of the price point and the thought that I could eventually switch out the heater cover and "customize" it a bit.

Sadly, that isn't possible with the Da Buddha, so I opted for the SSV after a over a year of using the DBV. Got it with the mail yesterday and I don't have a single regret. I already like the standard wand more than ground glass. I have a spherical heater cover on the way for my awesome spherical wand from 7th Floor, curious to see how that hits.

Not sure when they're shipping out my order though, I also bought the heater stand upgrade kit (along with other stuff) since the SSV I bought still uses the old method, and apparently a part of the kit is on backorder. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Congrats on the SSV. It was my first "real" vaporizer and still a favorite among a host of several others. I even have a backup SSV that I bought used locally because I consider it an essential home appliance. Enjoy.

Same here. I added a second hand ssv as well so I can alternate between the spherical and standard setups, and I use the ground glass wand with the DBV. I probably use the standard the most. Definitely an essential appliance, though my spouse disagrees that it belongs in the kitchen.

    Hey @DDave
I notice that my micro baskets from you aren't doing 1 hit extractions any more. Have to hit it then flip it over to get the other side.
Any advice on how to adjust my SSV or setup to rectify this?

Thank, I adore your mod kits

Edit: ^^^^ @stickstones beat me to the punch!!!!

Do all your baskets act the same way?
Thinking on this, first thought is cleaning. Baskets.
Next is the heater, but can discuss further after hearing about the baskets.

Yes, I clean the screens regularly.
I did notice that the micro baskets get clogged faster than the regular ones, and that DEFINITELY affects performance, hence the regular cleaning.

I don't seem to have the issue with the regular size basket screens I don't think, would have to check again. Micro screen is my daily driver.
I messed with the heater element a bit, adjusted my heater cover.

I don't think it's the screen, just thought people using the mod kit might have had this experience

    Thanks everybody, you guys rock.
And anyone that has an SSV should do themselves a favor and pick up @DDave mod kit!

V3 of this kit, target release February or earlier if possible, will make this a thing of the past!

Please let me know if the partial extraction issue follows to the larger basket screens.
This is the first report of this happening, so am curious to see if we an identify why.

Doesn't happen with the larger screens. Atleast not that i can tell. Going to use a freshly cleaned micro basket tonight and check the results

if you put an LSV heater cover on the SSV, the SSV ground glass wand sits in there perfectly with out falling out, totally hands free and hits huge, then if you put a DDave screen on the ground glass wand you can pack tiny bowls and get super fat rips, then also if you have a LSV bowl you can invert the SSV and use it just like an lsv, BTW i have an enano, Grasshopper 2 of them, a boundless cfx, and the Surfer hands down it my favorite and gives the hugest hits 2 huge hits 1 whispy hit bowl perfectly toasted all that with a similar bowl load to a Enano, plus this vape is super super reliable

Or just get and use a ssv ground glass heater cover and GG wand combo. They work very well.

Xmas of 15, I bought four ssv for gifts. Only two people still use their ssv, both bought the GG heat cover combo. The standard covers work, but they take more technique.
