We have become aware of a scam operation that is exploiting our Classifieds. It works like this:
You post a "wanted" Classified. A new member with no posts sends a PM asking if you are still looking, then refers you to a "friend" with a gmail address who supposedly has whatever you are looking for. If you follow up you are given a PayPal account with yet another email address.
DO NOT RESPOND TO ANY SUCH PM! Report it and we will ban the new member. Although it's a throwaway account, it will still provide some satisfaction to dump the asshole.
