Thanks for the heads up. Looks like amazon sells these as well, so I may go that route and pickup some Nature's Answer with it.

i bought two med's can i load them up and stick them in the fridge, i know your supposed to store in a cool place, but such a place doesnt exist right now in my state. I guess a better question is what temp should they be stored at?

Yeah the fridge is a good place, I even think there may be a pic of someones fridge in this thread.

Like storing emergency food, vacuum sealed Mason jars with oxygen absorbers is an excellent long term storage solution. I open these only when necessary to xfer meds to shorter term/use storage which is CVaults/Mason jars with Boveda packs, along with other "perishables" in my lab/supplements refrigerator. Once oxygen is reintroduced to my meds I switch to a cool, dark, humidity controlled, storage environment. A glimpse into my "lab fridge" . . . ;)

Edit: I consider these two storage environments to be mutually exclusive.

Just received shipment of my two CVaults, a small and a medium. Oddly enough, the medium was cheaper than the small. Prior to buying these, I was using a mason jar that I picked up at Ikea. It has worked okay, but air does get in over time drying the flowers up. I washed the small one and place an eight in it while putting the medium away. A quarter should be able to fit in it no problem. Looking forward to reporting back on long-term effectiveness.

So took a little out, put the rest in the cvault, for a week. Noticeably different.
You might could do something cheaper that will produce the same thing, but these are not that expensive, and do what they advertise. Im pretty happy with these so far.

I have a question...I apologize if it's a dumb question.....So CVault keeps your herb at pretty much the same state you put it in for a while...keeps your herb from getting dry...but isn't "dry" herb better for vaporizing though? Or are these cvault things only for long term storage and not something for your immediate usage?

And let's say you kept some herb in Cvault for 2 months...do you guys just take it out and use it right away before vaping or do you guys "dry" it? are there like methods to make the herb dry faster without losing potency? Thanks!

i tend to plan ahead,and put the weeks worth out before my next use, 16 hrs or so of dry time. Its really hot and humid where i live, so it dries up quick

outside in a jar or in your room or in the sun? :D also wouldn't this be like stinking up the whole place? 16 hours of aroma :D

The cvault definitely does a good job of keeping your material in very nearly the same state as when you first put it in (sometimes it will even look better)... it's really impressive how fresh it looks/smells, even after a couple months or more in the vault.

For immediate usage, you could certainly use a cvault with no humidipak and you'd get fine results.

I like to keep my stuff in the cvault for long-term, and then I'll keep about a week's worth in my pollen box, and another week's worth in a cheap, "air tight" (yeah, right) glass jar... after the pollen box material is gone, I transfer the glass jar stuff to the box, and take another week's worth out of the cvault to put in the glass jar. Keep it on a nice cycle.

Also, a cvault with no humidipak is a great place to store your duff for future cooking use... :tup:

I would not recommend using your material straight out of a cvault with humidipak. I mean, you CAN vaporize it, but... it is most certainly not an optimal way to go about it...

i keep it in a storage/grinders, placed in my vape case :)

someone brought me a couple grams of pretty dry shake, put it in the cvault, came back to life a little more after a couple of weeks. Better flavor and vape all around. I liked it so much i bought one for the friend, he was using a tupperware and keeping it in the fridge lol, hes enjoying it now :)

Is it just me or is there no way to purchase both small & medium together so that I only have to pay shipping once?

I'd like to get a couple of small & mediums together, but if not I guess I'll suck it up and pay separate postage. :)

I could not find a way but the shipping savings is not that much. I bought four mediums and shipping was 6.38.

I am excited to get my 4. That leaves me with 6 total. My goal is to get a setup that could rival T-dub but I think I will always be one step behind :)
