Thank you all for your comments and for highlighting some potential issues.
Just to clarify: I like this device and genuinely want to use it. I’ve had experience with other vaporizers before, such as the XMax Pro V3 and the Äris Ultra for weed, so I’m not new to vaporizers. Additionally, I’ve been using vapes like the Pico with self-winding tanks (e.g., SvoëMesto) for over 10 years for regular vaping
I wrote Tinymight about the issue in the meantime.
It sounds like there may be something wrong with your TM. It could be user error, but you might want to check in with Tinymight or your retailer. Where did you buy it?
I bought it from a highly trusted online
shop from Berlin. I've checked all details that are known for the counterfeit devices from china. It looks all authentic. (+ on top of the battery lid, Multitool in two pieces. Box has no warranty logo ...) Regular price here in Germany 349€.

What batteries are you using? How old are they?
It's not normal they go down so fast, makes me think that maybe the batteries might be (part of) the problem?
Using underpowered batteries could be stressing the batteries out and causing the excess heat and stupidly short run time.
I’m using Molicel P28A batteries, which are relatively new, and I’ve tried several of them, including the original one that came with the device. Unfortunately, all of them last for only one bowl. These same batteries work perfectly in my regular 510 vapes with tanks for e-liquids (MTL/~10W), so I don’t think the batteries are the issue.
You can visibly observe the battery drain through the changing light colors. Just 2-3 draws (5-10 seconds each) result in a capacity loss of about 25%. At level 6, three bowls require three fully charged batteries. After each bowl, the battery indicator turns turquoise.
Did that change anything?
What level did you calibrate it at? (and what color was it calibrated at from factory?)
The factory calibration was set to Green (6). I’ve also tested levels 7 and 8, but all that did was shift the temperature range without solving the main issue. The device still gets very hot very quickly and doesn’t produce much vapor at all.
Additionally, I don’t feel the same effects as I do with other devices, even those with smaller bowl sizes.
I hope you can figure out what's going wrong 'cause this does not sound normal anyway.
I also don't think that this is normal.
TM1 owner here. With TM1, a gradual loss of power usually meant a bad connection. One fix was to open TM, and put a shim under the metal strip (the one going from the bottom of the device to connect to the top panel), and tighten really good. Obviously not the fix for TM2, but possibly a bad connection might be oxidizing somewhere.
@Mukmuk,
One fix for TM1 was adjusting the ring that holds the stem. Too loose, and there will be an air leak. Too tight, and you might crink the o-ring. I had to find that sweet spot in the middle. And if you’re using session mode, try on-demand. Hope this helps.
Thanks for the tipp. I will also have a look into that.
To help us please post as many details you can. Is every stem the same? Do you have any air leaks? How much material are you loading? Etc etc, post any details you can think of.
I’m using the original TM dosing capsules as well as the S&B capsules. However, I prefer the TM capsules because they fit into the stems, whereas the S&B capsules sit beneath the stems due to their larger diameter.
Two things I’ve noticed that seem really strange:
1. When using the device at level 6, it doesn’t get very hot on the outside.
2. When using it at level 7, it becomes extremely hot almost immediately.
Additionally, after the device vibrates a few seconds after powering on, it only provides cold air for several minutes. I have to wait some minutes before it starts warming up and producing slightly warm air, but there’s still no vapor and only a very faint taste. But then it gets really quick really hot.
Yeah there are a lot of variables, but it definitely doesn't sound like it is working right, whether a user error or small problem that you can fix yourself, or something that needs to be sent back in... Good luck
Thanks. I’m just trying to figure out what’s causing the issue—whether it’s something I’m doing, the device itself, or maybe a combination of both.
Here are some additional pictures of my TM2, 2024 Edition.
There is also the original battery shown. The green dot is just hiding the serial partly.
