Sure but who cares, why suffer, trust me nobody is that lazy, folks may be SERIOUSLY OVERESTIMATING the loading and unloading of this. I can't be any clearer than drop in a pinch, take way more hits than you need to be high and the unscrew the cap and allow said to fall out. I understand you may not believe me because I don't know of any device easier to load and unload except literally a oil pen cartridge.

I do not doubt you are correct and it will be my preference to load the bare minimum at a given time to maximize the flavor freshness. However, it's not just about being lazy, it is about opportunity.

When you have quick and curious little children running around and you just want a quick hit, that extra few seconds of taking out a storage container, opening it and exposing all the wonderful aromas to the air ('daddy, why do I smell skunk here in our high rise apartment?') then getting a pinch out and into the hopper and closing the storage container back up and taking your hit (or two) and getting it all put back away again before the next little kid comes along (or the first one comes back ['daddy, there was no skunk in the kitchen, you're being silly!'])... time is of the essence and having a packed chamber ready to go is a necessary evil.

To make an analogy (a subjective one so results may vary) by the time the Ti tasted like a pax, the SS still tasted like a crafty but the Ti started out tasting like a Firefly.

Hopefully by the time the Ti tasted like a Pax (yuck) means at least the third time around if not the fourth. If I could just get in two uses with good flavor I can make that work.

Anyways, all this talk of how the Ti's flavor dips sharply makes me wonder if I should downgrade to SS.

With all due respect to our resident simple country lobbyist, I simply don't want to fiddle with loading and reloading so often. Flavor is important, but it's not the end-all be-all to me. I'd rather be high. Plus, it seems like a tremendous hassle. I'd have to unscrew the GH, hold the tip in my palm, hold GH with fingers of that same hand. Use other hand to grab and onehandedly open whatever container i'm using. Still using same hand, grab a pinch and close container. I'd then have to throw away my beloved ABV cuz where else am I going to put it, put the pinch in the chamber, then reverse all those steps. How often am I expected to do this while I'm out and about? And I do not live in the land of unicorns, puppies and legal cannabis, so merely opening up my "pen" could blow my cover, let alone accidentally dumping weed on the street or something. In principle, I understand and agree with the concept but in reality, MY REALITY, it's hard to imagine it working for me, at least while out hiking or biking or whatever.

If you think loading a vape pen is a hassle I can only imagine the elaborate meals you prepare.

This has nothing to do with the vape this is a side affect of handling dry herbs in general. The solution to the smell and having your "opportunity" is concentrates.

A wax pen has great flavor throughout, medicates faster, is much stealthier, and a "pinch" stretches a lot farther. It's all about expectations.

Lol your skunk story made me laugh but i agree, we cant all have that luxury of putting teenie tiny pinches all the time..im actually going to load it up and let it run all day as i need.

So ok guys. Had an interesting issue come up and trevor has not heard of anything like it yet.

My hopper now takes about 10 seconds to heat on a cold start. This isn't a long heat up time but considering where it started (4-5) seconds I thought I would email trevor and aks especially with it just now hitting the week mark. He said that that should definately not be happening and asked for a video. I got a tracking number before even sending it and he told me he was also sending a leather sleeve to tie me over till the ti cases becauses i asked before about it coming eith my order so i could have ordered one but didnt. He has aldp said he doesn't have an estimate on the ti cases because they are busy trying to get people units.

I really debated posting this but honestly performance wise there doesn't seem to be an effect. It is only the heat up time. Ehixh really 10 seconds is still crazy fast but not the near instant it was.

Yup, I have my product ground up in a jar and just unscrew the tip, dip it in and screw the top back on.

I hear that about the kids but like I've been saying and the pic below describes best, wait till you get the grasshopper, particularly until you know how YOI will use it, it's not like other vapes. The experiment, excuse me anecdote of an actual thing I just did using no precise instruments apart from the GH, remember that I got 8 hits with great flavor, I only stopped because a. I'm a flavor snob b. I didn't even believe there could have been more left but when I looked at the ABV even I don't think that was begone dull care yet.

Interesting, that is a new one, lucky you you can still vape and glad the new one is on the way.

Folks need to remember that these guys have been awesome with support once the product is sent. You may not like every decision they make but they are making product based decisons. Not like a lot of companies where the decision tree starts with the investors and attorney's their only master is the product itself.

This is an economic model we need to support. The proof is in the device.

I unscrew the top and just dip it in the same jar the dope comes in from the dispensary (Chunky Diesel from Terrapin Care Station in Boulder if you're curious) and then put the top back on.

In the picks below you can see me dipping, the amount that went in from just a light tapping.

I then tapped it out so you can see it pre-vape, you might wondering where all the dope is ... that's it!

I put it back in, set it to temp 3, took 2 flavorful rips, the I took 2 more, turned it up to temp 4 after the second hit at 4 I thought the flavor was all gone but when I cranked it to 5 there was still some flavor left and I took 2 more hits.

Then you see the ABV after 8 hits. We all know I am a strong believer in Let them eat Crawfish but I even think it was wasteful. There was more to be vaped.

I'm sure nobody believes any of this because every time I unload the GH I can't believe how little dope is in there and how high I am by comparison.

look at these pics from bottom to top for correct order, also I usually use a little more than that, this was litterally the amount I got without making any real effort. If you want to use a dugout method the herb should be loose and puffy in the container, well I guess puffy doesn't matter, dusty would be fine so long as it doesn't get hard packed because the rim of the GH bowl is smooth so it would just pack it down further.

I think I'm gonna stay a pincher dipping is fine but pinching might actually be easier.

Pretty sure from what I read it is good for 3-4 .3gram loads, so you can vape a bit over a gram per charge I guess? Seems fairly good.

After 20 hits , it still looks pretty fresh .

RE: SS vs Ti
You could just use the SS for the entire day .
Then the next day , use just the Ti GH .
On the 3rd day , if you " had to " choose just one
to take with you for the entire day to use .
Which one would you " Prefer " ?

Good point. Maybe someday I'll have access to concentrates. Until then, I'm glad the Grasshopper will keep the flavor longer than the Pax.

Hello to all patient vapers. I read the warranty terms from the screenshots posted and from what I understood, the shipping charges must be covered by the customer. So why are all these vaporizers that have failed been insta-shipped?

Don't get me wrong, I'm more than happy with their speedy coverage of the malfunctioning hoppers. My concern lies in their handling of their warranty in the future. Has anyone e-mailed Trevor or know any info about how long they will uphold their speedy process? I would hate to get my hopper in August hopefully, have it fail a month after and receive different treatment.

That's a very good question. I'm assuming because the few (confirmed on FC) units out there appear in the hands of reviewers or users likely to write a review, there's special treatment being given for that reason. When will terms revert back to the standard warranty? I guess when there's the perception that the shipped product is fully stable. Hoping someone does ask the question, because that shipping cost for warranty returns can add up quickly.

I would assume this is because despite being at production spot and "ready to ship production units" it is kinda in a beta period so they are testing the waters with their units and trying to get any potential common problems fixed so when Mass shipping starts they can switch to the stated procedures

Do you vape on one of the lower settings? That stuff looks like its barely been vaporized to me.
