you will get it in your hands much latter and much more expensiver if waiting.
Id hope that they are not relying on pre order money to stay afloat. If they are they better come up with a better business plan than that or they probably won't be around to honor those lifetime warranties.and for companies like this preorder money is essential to keep operations running.
i don't get those people who don't preorder. what is the thinking? you will get it in your hands much latter and much more expensiver if waiting.
Funny I don't get people that DO preorder. Especially if there is no concrete date or even a loose estimate date when they will hit the market.
I preorder video games for my son, because he likes games that sell out. I will preorder a game because they always come out on the date specified.
No disrespect to GH and hope it doesn't come off as such...
But why preorder from a company that has stuck to NO deadlines so far?
There are people who paid YEARS ago to get them off the ground who haven't seen their units.
Imo (which doesn't mean too much) it is bad taste to keep allowing preorder when their start up campaign was adequately funded and promises weren't kept.
I will buy the GH as soon as I can add it to a cart. I do respect and anticipate the work. But am not willing to an uncompensated stock holder or investor in the company.
Not even for a 'lifetime' warranty.
My lily vaporizer was purchased less than six months ago and has a five year warranty. Triihouse is no longer in buisness as it seems...who will cover the warranty?
Exactly when I think of a pre-order I think of video games something a lot of us are familiar with. A new game goes up for pre- order you order it and you get it on said date not a year later.Funny I don't get people that DO preorder. I can understand that, about a month ago, I emailed a company and ask if I could preorder (because I missed the window) still not on the list...but the point is...Yeah that's a good perspective, but people like me who missed the indiegogo campaign but would've backed were begging them to take pre order money even though there was a waitlist. For later pre orders a lot feel mislead, but I personally am greatful I was able to pre order so early and knew I was in for a lot of potential hiccups (oh April, such promise lol)

The company I would preorder with is very transparent. There is open communication.
The hold ups of said vape appear to be things that are tweaking it to get the best performance. Which I'm fine with.
The concerning thing here is that the hold up are due to failures or part problems.
I apologize in advance if this is an inaccurate assessment. But it is what seems to be happening in my eyes.
Yea. But I'm poor. I'll spend my money on quality shit, but I refuse to send it to a limbo state.Yeah the opacity is annoying for sure, but whatever, I have other companies I follow here that more than make up for it imo, its just the nature of capitalism, so many different types of companies in this industry, part of VAS issue

If I had money to blow, I would be on every preorder list until 2025!
I think I actually anticipate the GH as much as the zion. But their tactics inspire a 'wait and see' reaction with me...While the Z has evoked a spirit of a buying frenzy.
And @Shit Snacks I would like to send a personal F**K Y** to you...you have personally had something to do with my current state of VAS...shame on you! Lol

You make perfect sense...everything is subjective. BUT unlike the burning cd reference..GH apparently isn't at the burning process. They appear to still be at the programming stage. If it were just a matter of building a product that works and is proven...assembly should be theoretically simple.Am I making sense? Or do I have it all wrong?

Unless of course there is something I'm missing?
If it were simply a raw material shortage that would be easier to understand.
But this vape still has bugs close to an already drastically pushed back release date.
I believe there is a small scale vaporizer company in the depths of fc that had a waiting list for production, but the vape was good and they weren't flooded with returns...people line up to get the vapes, because like some luxury items, limited production and exclusivity are part of the allure.
My gut and the opacity of communications leads me to believe otherwise.
But don't get me wrong. I'm hope i'm wring as shit. I will gratefully eat my words with humble pie.
I've seen in news papers and t.v. about companies that dupe investors and break promises and make off with tons of money.
Waiting is the condom I put on to protect myself from getting shafted in situations where I feel unsure of the outcome.
I'd be willing to buy the GH blindly (without knowing how I'll like it personally) if I could just add to a cart with next day shipping.
Made my point 10x better than I ever could <3I'll be very surprised if GHL jumps ship and runs off with the money. If that was the plan, they would've outsourced it to china, made a few thousand $20 vapes, ship them out and then tell the public that due to unforseen circumstances they had to go bankrupt, or they would just dissappear off the map.
I've learnt my lessons with previous crowdfunding campaigns and I don't plan on doing it again, but the GH is one of the few I don't regret. I've backed about 15 different kickstarters/indiegogo's, and the GHL is one of the best run crowdfunder's ive backed even with all the delays.
I'm personally very happy with backing the campaign when I did. I would've had to pay an extra $100 if I wanted to buy it today due to the price increase and the currency exchange rate. There's a risk/reward for everything, and this is no different. However, I personally feel the risk is very low, it's a matter of when you'll get it, not if.
I like to hear that. And I definetly don't think they'll run off with the money.
