Discontinued The Grasshopper

Draw restriction was strong in the unit I was using too, surprisingly. I only used a small amount and made sure the screen was clear. I wasn't going cross eyed but I didn't expect it to be so strong.

Could you compare it to something, say an e-cig?
I'm wondering how much restriction this vape has, my recycling piece won't function properly unless the airpath is very open.

I was using an SS.

As far as comparisons, it wasn't as hard as the Snoop Dogg G Pen, but harder than the Pro or Alfa. Somewhere in between them. I don't use ecigs, just weedcigs

I received this beauty from @Ratchett today:

Amazing quality leather and a well thought out design. The GH and other items are staggered inside when closed, keeping the form factor slim. Excellent work!
yours looks so much better than mine, but that's probably because it has a grasshopper inside:doh:

Yea after just throwing in a couple pinches the draw restriction was very nice. I imagine the material tumbling around like in a dryer extracting all the goodies. The abv comes out nice and even.

A friend of mine looked at my GH and said with a smirk "Is that suppose to look like a pen?" I said "No, it's supposed to look like a stylus." He said, "Oh okay then" :brow:

Yes i tried it out first, so far impressed with the tiny amount i put in. i then removed the back and the battery wouldn't slide out. I'll try again when i get home from work.

Amazingkaddycap,
It doesn't smell, I'm thinking the battery may have expanded.

You may be able to chill your GH for a few minutes and see if thermal expansion may be the issue or not. I'd still send an email to GHL support to let them know and if it would be a problem to continue using that battery or not.

something i am personally cocerned about is that when i backed through indigogo and also on their site, they did not mention that you should not buy the grasshopper if you had or have cancer it is only stated in the manual
I think it's just a general disclaimer related to vaping, not about anything specific to the grasshopper. That section of the manual is pretty ludicrous, IMO, like what's with the whole list of synonyms for illness??

EDIT: I only read the manual on their site. What you're saying sounds different than what I read in the manual -- did it ship with a further / different warning?

When using the grasshopper, does the blue light stay on the whole time during use? The blue lights go off after a min or so, then i have to click it twice to turn it on again. Is this normal? The way the manual reafs is click oncevand your ready to go, doesn't mention auto shutoff or anything. Thanks

Yeah, that's normal. If you don't use it for 18 seconds it shuts off automatically.

It got awfully quieter in here it seems.

People wanted more so here is my grassHopper Dab Demonstration,

From the description
Hopper was set to set 5.
I personally am not a huge fan of cotton, it discolors and will slightly offgas by itself unless you are doing really low temp dabs. Everyone mentions it so I felt I should at least include it in the video. That shouldn't be interpretted as cotton doesn't give good results, it does and I have gotten even better than in the video.
Honestly if you have herb/abv around I highly suggest using that over cotton as you will get more hits and probably feel more affected.

The Hopper isn't as great for concentrates as the VapCap, Firewood, or Hammer but it is capable of satisfying some users. Not the unit I would recommend for oils but again, its possible.

What I've noticed is that if it shuts off automatically, it stays on some kind of weird standby (doesn't seem to turn back on by inhalation), so you still have to click it completely off before you click it back on again.

As opposed to clicking it off while the blue light is still on, it's all the way off in this instance so you just click it once to turn it back on. Is that how everybody else's work, of the ones that seem to be working properly?

Yes. Red flashes on standby. Click off then back on to start again.
