What would you say would be better than this for around £200/$250 am from UK so would buy from around here so if you can list a few would be good :)
I'll be honest I'm not sure what's available to you, but have a look at the ballvape thread, I think it's got some of everything.

I would recommend a Phase3 ZX kit, $200USD currently. It's an amazing little Zirconia vape that's like the elev8r in that its inert materials and design deliver fantastic flavor and high. It's smaller than most injectors at 14mm, but it's a powerhouse nonetheless.

Cloud Connoisseur's Zeal is also amazing and a few bucks less for a kit at $195. I'm not sure if he has a European setup but the info will be in that thread.

Both are out of stock but check with the vendors, they should be back as soon as they can get them in.

Let me emphasize that the reason these are both Zirconia is because they wanted the purity of glass with much more strength.

Edit: to bring it back on topic: seriously, @Rodney, give the manual elev8r a look if you don't mind the torch. It's a real powerhouse and a lot of fun to use. If you become adept you can go for flavor or ride the line.

ive gone electric and got myself an elev8r kit. i have moved to a new flat recently and am worried about the noise from the torch being heard by my neighbours. havent been able to use my analogue one since i moved and i miss it.
anyway, havent used it yet because im waiting for harvest but i have modded it a bit. 3mm rubies to try but also i wrapped the glass heater in aluminium foil to make it fit more snug and transfer heat better. is there any downside to doing this im not aware of?

I have seen people mention shimming the coil with folded stainless screens to increase contact, but I've never actually seen it done and don't know how well it works.

thats what inspired me to try foil. might be putting more heat out into the surrounding air than transmitting, might be the poor state of the quick dried, early taken buds and the tiny amount i used but i had it on 650 and felt like i shoulda had it on earlier. anyways, massively stoned now so it worked.

I can vouch for both the foil and the screen shims, (mom would be crushed that I have become such a vape nerd) I used brass screens instead of stainless because they were easier to form. The screens help with conduction between the coil and injector. The foil works but degraded a bit in my case. If one doesn't mind the maintenance or just as a temporary way to check out added thermal mass and insulation, it's fine. I am so sorry, mom!

I feel exactly the same about my volcano vape at night time but I doubt either can be heard by our neighbours and even if they could hear a tiny noise it is not like it is a big racket or annoying. Like i am betting central heating and general noises pipes in our houses make make much more noise than your torch or my volcano but we still worry about it :p - I keep meaning to ask my neighbour if they hear my small fan sometimes at night from my heater I would say but never have asked them, My coughing before I got my vapes was non stop so :D

I think the weed is a part of this worry lol - is good that we care if we affect/annoy/bother other people I suppose and not just thinking of ourselves.

Been wanting to post this since a while ago but I've been going through some rough times caring for a sick family member and kept putting it off...

I wanted to let everyone know that if you reach out to the kind folks at Elev8 they will make you a custom Elev8r with a smaller sized bowl for micro dosing. I keep my tolerance low since I just use a half bowl on my Dynavap and never take dabs. So I never even go half of the regular size Elev8r bowl.

I love my Elev8rs (have the standard full kit with the wand and rig attachent) but always wanted an all glass/no screen rig attachment for my water piece. When I was ready to order one I gave them a call and asked if I could have one made with a half size smaller bowl to make it easier to microdose. I spoke to the very kind and warm Theresa and she said it would be no problem at all. They didn't even charge me a different price for it. Just had to wait to get it made.

How does it work? Great! I love having an all glass pathway (I removed the screen from the heating tip too) and it takes less butane to heat up my herb because it's closer to the heating element! Only thing I notice is that it gets warmer in my hand when warming up the tip with the torch. But nothing too bad. Give it a try if you microdose!

I'm surprised the Elev8rs aren't more popular than they are because they are awesome in their analog simplicity. AND you can always go electric with a dc attachment too.

EDIT: Was going nuts taking shots of the differences between the custom one and the standard bowl but honestly it's nothing more than a shallower bowl top to bottom. So everything else fits just the same.

guys it seems like i will be getting one of these soon so I must ask. Is Mesh screen WPA or all glass WPA better? I am guessing glass. Also do I need to get anything else with it or just this

My current daily use vape is the TM2 and I love it but the whole battery changing constant is not so cool and sometimes it can be hit and miss if you get a 10/10 hit BUT it is a lot better than most vapes just i feel the elev8r will be more of a consistent hitter and get the most from my weed.

The other thing is the TM2 will eventually likely need to go in for repair at some point and I DO NOT want left using the volcano or the Mighty+ even if they are good vapes I need the right big hit or I am not satisfied/happy.

I love my elev8r too, but I prefer it in torch set up. It's a really cheap way to get great performance with top of the line flavour.
do you mean this?? it has the heater with it all for cheap. should i get the glass or mesh screen?? they are recommending the mesh screen and it is cheaper.

sorry for the double post :)

Yeah, I didn't enjoy my elev8r coiled, but that could be partially explained by the fact that I can't fit 3mm balls in it, I didn't try any smaller.

If you are looking for consistency I think the coiled one would be great for you, you could always remove the coil if you feel brave enough, and try torching it, or just get another heater for £42. The torch needs a little practice until you get repeatable hits.

May I suggest considering this instead? These guys have been hand-fitting these for a long time and the PID may be reused with other common gear (it has the US std wiring pattern where the elev8 gear does not).

With regards to the electric vs torch: both are excellent, the torch version has better airflow and is super easy to use, the DCE is a wonderful sipping or session vape for me but you can get real power out of it, too.

I prefer my all glass rig because I'm one of those people that would rather an all glass pathway for better taste (some people don't notice a difference) and possible safety with regards to fumes emitting from hot metals. (I never trust the quality of replacement screens. I often wonder where they are imported from.) But both versions perform fantastically well.

I should let you know that you will need to grind a coarser grind with the all glass version because you will get some plant material falling through if you grind too fine.
