Discontinued Dragon Lite Portable

@Stone__Man:
Glad we could settle this like gentlemen. My first post toward you was a little rough too, sorry again. I normally don't bother posting negative comments, just an off day. I've spent a lot of time perusing this forum and there have been more than a few people who say they could build a particular vape for much less than the seller's price. The response is usually something like "Go ahead and do it then, let us know how you make out." Some have actually succeeded. What really bothered me most is that you said:

"the only things unresolved is the screen material, i suspect is stainless steel, and what ever it is that is used to hold the connection of the screen onto the rod. as there are expansions and such that will go on from heating and cooling, and over time small gaps could develop and cause a less that solid connection. If I knew what that stuff is, I'm fairly confident I could make one for under 25 bucks EASY . so long as this goop don't cost an arm and a leg lol"
The EASY took me over the edge.
Thanks pakalolo for communicating better than I can today.
I'm interested to see how this Dragon Lite fares. I believe it works, but how well and for how long?
I've only regretted one of my vape purchases and that was the sneak-a-vape, I paid $16 for it on ebay. They STILL charge $39.99 on their site. I bought it on a lark, just to review it and it was terrible. I wish I was well enough off to buy one of these Dragon Lites on a lark, but I'm not at the moment.

CHEERS AND KEEP ON VAPIN' !!!

Like I said its all good man ;) no resentments here :ko: ;)

What is freaking me out on this whole researching into the world of vaping, once I stuck my head behind the curtain, it looked like a black hole in there :p

I'm sure there are difference on the insides of vapes , but there don't seem to be too many kinds (process, design wise) from the limited info about "whats under the hood" by nearly most makers. and a fact I find... um, peculiar is that the ones that more or less start their business from their garage, will often share info as they go along the process of building out test models and everything. Rather akin to different tinkering soldering electronics , makes this or that. some almost become "internet think tanks" for the projects.
here is an example that sprung to my mind of, as it seems many vapes have borrowed designs, how is the relevant? you tell me. There have been a Zillion different spins off of the CMOY amp. Hell, search ebay for CMOY Amp see what you get.

I wonder why more is not shared here from folks that have purchased the DL ?

One of the biggest headshop product distributor in the nation, they sell it all, if you walk in a headshop they probably sold em everything they offer, a major vaporizer dealer.

Thanks!

It is sad, they thought it just came out, they have a banner saying they are the exclusive dealer and I had to tell them they are all wrong, told em about the overall concensus of them also, they are such a bad imposter, did not dig it at all!

I have yet to write up a full review, but this thing is the real deal. Extremely satisfied...With the new battery cover it hits just as well as the mflb imo.

I doubt as much thought went into designing the bowl/screen as the MFLB, and it still looks absolutely laughable by comparison and is made out of uncertain plastics.

Surprise, surprise... showed up in one of my regular tobacco/head shops this week. Didn't ask to hold it, because I have a superior MFLB and this truly looked like a cheap, plastic, piece of shit.

Mercedes Benz? This thing reminds me of those old Tijuana Volkswagen Bugs, with the Rolls Royce hood.

Bought one of these, will post back with a review n pics and maybe video,

seems like the people here who have one like it except 1 everyone else putting it down just cause

anyone think the magic flight power adapter will work with it?

jbg87,
I got one of these a few days ago. Got mine from ebay for 40 USD with a Cali Crusher grinder. It's a cool device for someone not having enough moula to get a real MFLB. The construction is merely okay, looks a bit plasticy but is actually quite sturdy. It vapes okay, I get no clouds with 2500 mah NiMH batteries but I get really baked atleast. The battery that came with it is utter shit and there was no charger...also the straw you suck through is a bit loose and feels poorly fitted.

For the price this thing is awesome, it works and tastes awesome but it's really not flawless. What annoys me the most is the amount of force and hassle with the battery pushing. This knockoff works, if you get a sweet deal on it and want to try vaping...go ahead. I love vaping now, I would really want to get a desktop vape with a hose when I get some money.

Guess he wasn't too impressed with it.

BigDaddyVapor,
^How much can you really expect from a vape in the price range of a cheaper bong? The places selling it for as much as MFLB are obviously overpricing it.

Other company's mostly care about their own profits.
 The #1 rule for any company that wants to stay in business is to "mostly care about their own profits". Without profits, there's no business. If that's a shot at Magic Flight, it's a very weak one, considering their unconditional lifetime warranty.

I'll give 'em the price award though- it's certainly a low admission price to battery operated vaping.

I thought he was taking a shot at the DL, not the MFLB.

Okay, so I got one of these a few days ago, based only on price. Wish I could buy a more expensive one, but whatever. The style is pretty childish. Looks like it was designed to impress the sixteen year old D and D playing population (to each his own). That being said it works just fine. No problem with the battery or the battery cover. Have a battery charger already, luckily, because the battery ran out pretty quickly. Although, I suppose that just depends on how often you use it. My only "problem" is that I don't feel like I can ever really get a big rip from it. I don't know if it is just me though because I can see it fill up with vapor, but when I hit it I can hardly tell. Maybe it's because I'm used to smoking out of pipes, bongs, etc. and the vapor doesn't hit your lungs the same way. I don't know.

You probably haven't mastered the technique yet. See the link in my sig. It's about the MFLB but the DL is a blatant attempt to copy the LB so most of the information there applies.

hey fuckcombustion i created this account specifically for this site;

It seems as though there is much controversy behind the Dragon Lite.

I've been meaning to purchase a vaporizer. I was going to purchase the MFLB but the price is kind of holding be back.
There is more than a lack of info on these bad boys, some say it works great, and work just as well as the MFLB, and some people (especially MFLB fanboys) hate and bash it because it's a 'knockoff' and say it sucks without actually even trying the product

I just want to know the truth about this product so I can decide whether to buy it or not. Been thinking of trying the vape.
Anyone know anything else about it?

Well calling one of the more knowledgeable groups on the forum, fanboys... isn't going to win over many fans.

However, the MFLB is made of superior materials, has a much higher build quality, is more efficient and has a lifetime warranty that is transferable.

So... is that a good enough fanboy answer for you, or you still convinced the Dragon Lite is a much greater value?

P.S. There really isn't much controversy concerning the Dragon Flight. The general consensus, is that its a POS. In fact, I don't think most owners stick around after like 5 post. Probably too embarrassed.
