Following up on this some more, I ended up dabbing with the EVO twice last weekend again. It was great and I decided to get a few pictures of the boro VapeXnail in use to share, before and after cleaning. They say a picture is worth a thousand words, here's two to add to the owner use knowledge base here .I'm sure a percentage of my difficulty in cleaning the boro's is due to my inexperience with concentrates, making a bigger mess than I should be.
Welcome back to the dark sideDusted off the evo and got some flower after years of dabbing. Thing is still a beast after sitting on the shelf for at least 4 years. Going to def start bringing it back into the rotation.
My EVO is around 6 years old and 90% of the time I use it inverted with my D020-D. No issues. I'm extremely careful and I never leave the D020-D inverted on the EVO....I lower the EVO onto the D020-D, take my hit, remove the EVO and set the EVO down right side up until the next hit - rinse and repeat.I use my EVO upside down in a bong but it seems to break the bamboo pretty regularly every 1-2 years, and the repair fee seems to be getting higher.
Does anyone have an EVO >3 years old with no bamboo repair needed? Do you invert or use a hydratube?
Pink & Storm Trooper White EVO’s hydro + Pink unit & Stormy FC165 no Bamboo issues?I use my EVO upside down in a bong but it seems to break the bamboo pretty regularly every 1-2 years, and the repair fee seems to be getting higher.

Great White North indoor CANNABIS + Ourdoor CANNABIS de CALIFORNIA = MAX FLIGHTTGIF and happy Thanksgiving holiday to the US folk ! I hope your all enjoying the EVO too.
I'm back on the EVO today and it's as great as ever. I had a boro VapeXnail from last weekend that was about 2-3X as dirty as what's posted above and I forgot to clean it. I did take reasonable care of the VapeXnail over 4 dabs with no accidents (overflow). Into the ultrasonic cleaner it went today, with ~1 cup of hot water and a ~1/2 tsp of PBW stirred in. Two 8 minute ultrasonic cleaner sessions and then a quick scrub using @macbill's recommended plastic ELB mini brushes had the glass looking clean clean . This hands off strong cleaning kicks azz, it's so easy I just made double sure and threw the VapeXnail back in for one more 6 minute session... digital timer & no attention needed. It's perfectly clean, dried already (dry air here) and ready to go. A friend is visiting this weekend and I'll share some cannabis love with them and the EVO .
I'm still using the same one ELB from new @ataxian, almost three years now! Obviously no bamboo repairs needed here either.
Cheers and have a great weekend all!
Hey long time no see fellas.. Sorry I barely have time to come here anymore. Real quick.. does anyone know the exact measurements for the hose that Vapexhale sells? I don't want to fork out 8 bucks for 18 inches over there at VXL. Food grade silicone hose that fits the 18mm wpa's? Anyone have a link? It has to be cheaper than this! What MM is it? If it's cheap enough I may buy a good amount. I've been using my Evo with my Cannabis Hardware Showerhead and My Custom Creations bubbler and love it more than the hydratubes!
But the hose gets nasty after a month of use.. and It simply needs to be replaced. I wouldn't even think of cleaning it.. Anyone got a link from a medical supplies company or something? It just needs to be the same MM to fit on my 2 18mm female adapters.
Thanks!
Thanks so much man! I have some soft bristle brushes (same size as what Vapexhale used to include in their cleaning kit) that work great for the nails! I also have a pair similar to what you mentioned above for stubborn caked on live resin!. I can't believe I've had my Evo for so long without trying out my own glass! Always used the HT's up till now!Nice!
Was when posting yesterday and forgot to mention this . I recently saw some brass brushes recommended on Reddit for cleaning VapeXnails and supposedly it removes all staining easily. This could be another great tool & the shiz?! Thoughts?

Found these measurements in the link recommended by someone else for silicone tubing fwiw.
7th Floor should know too (and is a good source for tubing it seems since resellers use them).

In EUROPE (90’s) WHITE WIDOW was on the menu ?My EVO is around 6 years old and 90% of the time I use it inverted with my D020-D. No issues. I'm extremely careful and I never leave the D020-D inverted on the EVO....I lower the EVO onto the D020-D, take my hit, remove the EVO and set the EVO down right side up until the next hit - rinse and repeat.
Is the EVO getting stuck upside down/inverted? How much pressure is used when lowering the EVO onto the bubbler? Are you leaving the EVO inverted and on for more than a minute? I can't imagine how hard I'd have to bring the EVO and the D020-D together to damage the bamboo.
If I remember correctly using the EVO inverted is not recommended by the manufacturer but I kind of remember someone on the manufacturer side saying that only using it inverted long enough to take that hit should be fine.
Hendricks was EXPERIENCED!It's so hard to resist the siren call of my portables over a desktop. They are usually loaded, low effort, and get the job done. But the EVO is such a premium experience, and always delivers as much delectable vapor as you could want. It never leaves my desk, even unused, always ready.
So what to do?
1)two freebie vacuum capsules from POTV and Puffitup; one for prefilled baskets, one for spent baskets
2)10 baskets preloaded with "a can of beer from the fridge" worth of herb. A dose that you can finish.
3)Enjoy an effort free experience, easily refreshed!
Guitar is one of homo-Sapien’s music maker’s & Hendrick’s raise’s the talent to the cloud’s & beyond.I’m sorry to bother, but if you’re talking Jimi it’s Hendrix and I’m a loyal fan that can’t let that pass, no offense sincerely. Jimi and Bob NY 68.

I'm curious about this, as well. I just (stupidly) bought an $8 whip from them and it still hasn't even left the buildingQuestion for those who use the silicone tube with glass,
https://fuckcombustion.com/threads/vapexhale-petra-upgraded-evo.51663/page-4Riddle for you… How do you make surround sound speakers disappear? You look at Vapexhale’s site and see the new Evo Hanu Petra! What? A new Evo? I WAS gonna get me some surround speakers but not anymore!
No mention of it here? I just happened to go to site today cause I dug my Evo out and had great experience and THERE IT WAS… they got a new version shipping in Feb! Wha say you Evo nation?
So far it looks like Evo owners are wondering what the main differences are if there are any. Looks awesome for someone without a current Evo, though. Or if I was still in my party years, sharing pieces with groups of people, I would order it without hesitation.Wha say you Evo nation?
All I can really find is a faster heat up time. Also a draw back is you can no longer invert the evo onto your own glass. So far it looks like Evo owners are wondering what the main differences are if there are any.
