Putin is a War Criminal
I have a feeling that this behavior is more battery related than TM related, mostly because it is different depending on which battery I am using. I don't have a first gen TM to compare as my first one came around September of last year and it came with a Sony battery. My newer TM came with an LGHG2. I also have some Samsung 30Qs and I recently purchased some Molicell P28s. The LGHE2s I had have bitten the dust.So it seems pretty clear that there has been at least 1 major upgrade to the TM that we know about so far? My original TM was bought in 5/20 and I sent it back for repairs at the beginning of 2021. Since I've had it back, it seems like my batteries don't last near as long. Like I'll only get 2 or 3 bowls per charge. I've even had times where I would cut the TM on and get 2 vibrations for the battery, and then when I go to hit it, while its warming up, it will cut off because battery is dead.
I tend to use a battery until it cuts out in the TM. Because I tend to use session mode it is very obvious when that happens. On some of my older batteries that are starting to sag I find that once it gets down to 2 buzzes it may cut out at any time. The P28s are clearly a longer lasting battery, so far, and I can even occasionally get a hit on a single buzz, but I will always get several hits if I am getting 2 buzzes. The HG2s are my most commonly used battery because I use them in my Splinter Zs as well and I usually get at least a couple good hits at 2 buzzes, but if they are weakening maybe only one long one. The 30Qs are somewhere in the middle. Any new battery purchases will likely be P28s if I can find them or P26s if I can't, tho I haven't tried them in a Z yet.
So, the batteries really do matter, and it seems to me they may be the biggest factor in how many hits we get in our TMs. And while I still use several of my other vapes, including a couple butane ones, the TM is almost always the first one I reach for.
