America is fierce with competition - a good thing. When a new product arrives on the market, it can quickly be crushed by misinformation / propaganda (not so good), which is what almost happened to Lil' Bud and Vapwood, but we persevered. Today, almost two years later, we've clearly set ourselves apart from all the bad info, and are a major player in the wood on demand convection vape market. I'd like to dispel some information, at least here on FC.
6 VAPWOOD MYTHS DISPELLED
Coil Too Small - not sure where this one came from, but the SS wire mesh coil measures approximately 1/2" x 4", expertly rolled into a perfect spiral coil with 3 layers out from center. The HIGH MASS coil sits vertically in its compartment, exposing all surfaces to the wide open roasting tube. It truly is a powerhouse.
Hot and Harsh - This comment comes from user error and the usually results when a new user attempts to make a Vapwood product behave like other non pure convection vapes. Load light, tamp just right - hot and harsh disappears. It's that simple. You can still pull 10 good hits from under a tenth of a gram.
You Need Glass or Metal - The LB Classic proved it, no glass needed. The 19/22 taper can be cut directly into the wood body, eliminating the need for glass. So why is glass not optimal? First, the obvious reason, it's fragile. In addition, while the glass insert is there to protect the wood, ironically glass does nothing to stop radiant heat. Our wood oven is lined with stainless steel foil, which reflects the radiant heat back at the coil. Glass, on the other hand, is a heat sync, and will steal heat, drain the battery, and reduce overall efficiency.
You Should Get 3 or 4 Sessions From One Battery Charge - The OG Classic did pretty well here, but the Elite with the DNA board manages battery life to where I get about 8 sessions per charge on very old batts. This is the proof of no heat energy leaking, causing the battery to drain rapidly. All internal connections are sound. Resistance is low as it can be. With each design there has been improvement here. The Timber runs super cool all the time, and is super efficient. I find myself forgetting about the battery. This is an on demand device, the battery is resting between each hit, and should last long.
Timber is too Tall - Not to mention any other vapes, but do the research on vape sizes, before you making an across the board statement. We have have size and shape preferences, but you'll find that many high quality, top sellers, are just about six inches long. Timber Elite is a big experience. It needs an appropriate housing to optimally harness the energy to turn flower into vapor, on demand, and it fits in your hand so nicely.
LB Elite is too Wide - *same as above*
