I need to experiment more.why aren´t your expectations fullfielld with gh bubbler hits... what is lacking...
because that was also one of the ways I intended to use my gh... and why do you prefer hitting it natively... a lot of people seem to like to use the gh with bubblers and I have seen videos really milking up bubbler with the gh and big nice clouds..
Basically from my experiences thus far, it is simply nicer to use it natively. I'm a big fan of bong hits too, but I've been vape bonging with a modded EQ for the last year or so, and for that device there's more benefit to water filtration. The GH is much better at heating material to a consistent temp and the vapour it offers is less smoky than my high temp EQ hits. The EQ will fluctuate by about 60C, where as the GH seems extremely accurate. It responds to small changes on the temp dial, you notice the difference in effect, flavour and the colour of AVB.
Because the temp for efficient extraction is much lower, the vapour is quite smooth and thinner, so unless you have a torch on the piece it's hard to know how the hit is going because it's hard to see.
I will play around a bit more, so far with the smaller D020 it milks it solidly (noticeable in the right lighting conditions), but with the larger piece it was very whispy. I suspect I was using different strains/quality between the two different chambers though (and I didn't have a torch on me with the larger piece).
I'm about to go to work for a while, than I shall be blasting clouds with the GH, if you have any specific questions about bubbler hits, let me know and I'll try and answer them.
I will add; it definitely works well, so the exhaled clouds aren't as crazy as the EQ vongs, but the effect is similar. Overall, it's just really enjoyable to use at 2.5-4 natively, it doesn't get too hot, flavour is better, and it is an enjoyable design to use.
