And.....?
Other than the wonders of the USPS - any more details about the issue and how they addressed it?

Wasn't really complimenting the USPS. Point was Hopper Labs didn't drag their feet in getting me a working Hopper and had great communication along the way. They replaced the battery and charger. Now it works. That's all I know. And they didn't give me a prepaid box. I handled the shipping.

Hi all,

I have had my Ti GH for 2 months or so now. It works great, best portable when used with a water piece (that takes care of the heating issues of the mp and body etc.) However, this morning when I click on, the red and blue lights both start flashing, then sometimes only the red light flashes. When connected to the charger, the blue light comes on showing the battery is fully charged. So dont know if I have hit a bigger snag. Any tips or input on their customer service/warranty process will be helpful. Thanks.

I would just start a warranty claim, (cue the anger of people waiting) once you have a GH they are pretty dedicated to making sure folks units are working perfectly and are updated to the newest components if they fail so I would email and start the process. Particularly if it still works then you have a vape while you wait.

They always told me in the cub scouts to "BE PREPARED". Guess it kinda does look similar to my Arrow of Light!

I only had the vape for about a week before it stopped working.

For international backers/customers, we have to pay shipping the malfunctioning unit back to them or else it voids our warranty.

Exactly why I got a refund. As an international orderer, with the failure rate so high, chances were good I'd have to send it back.. Added to that, I just know I'd be complaining about a hot mouthpiece. Sensitive lips - I wait for ages before drinking my tea. I still read this thread, hoping to hear good news! The emotional investment kinda sticks. :)

I actually asked for a refund a few months back because I had the same worries, but as an IGG backer they couldn't refund me. However, I have to say even with the recent events and having a failed unit, I'd highly recommend getting a grasshopper eventually and i'm still happy with the purchase overall.

So one last update, and not one that i'm very happy about. While the GH team sent a replacement right away and it's working flawlessly, I only had the vape for about a week before it stopped working.

For international backers/customers, we have to pay shipping the malfunctioning unit back to them or else it voids our warranty. Which in most cases it's understandable, but from my point of view, if a customer has had it for a week and it craps out, they shouldn't have to pay to get it fixed. After a month, sure. A week though? That's just poor customer service. /rant
OK here....so this should be... Post "small adjustments" but sounds to also be Pre "parts adjustments" so now you should be getting a Post "parts adjustments" and I feel this is going to be the cliff hanger....
Clearly GHL believes it to be hence the announcing of the BIG production push... sort of a sign of "putting your money where you mouth is" IMO....anyway...
Its this next Post "parts adjustment" batch that I'm going to be looking out to hear from.... but the question is how long should I wait before deciding they must have got it this time around.....2 weeks..? a month with no complaints.....
will anything be lost or gained in this Post "parts adjust" release......?

Exciting times...... I so want this manufacturer to succeed........ I'd still LOVE to learn the real scoop on these all these adjustments.... maybe they will fill us in after all the dust settles say after 3 or 4 months of zero issues..... then they might bare all.....

Totally "Digging" this powerhouse of a heater........

@ShayWhiteGrow listen you have always been a fan of the Inhalater my primary driver..... IYO is the Grasshopper flat spanking the pants off the Inhalater or what.... Go ahead give it to me straight..... don't sugar coat that shit....TIA.....:peace:

Yes. I put it above my Mighty and my Minivap.

:hmm:

Very bold statement SWG, very bold statement indeed...:sherlock:

Do you believe the GH will last as long as the aforementioned vapes problem free?
When it works, I guess it works good. We both know the QC is far from up to par.

GH units aren't very reliable from what I've read through out the thread, that's why I plan on waiting awhile before I purchase one.

I like hearing all the positive about the Grasshopper but time will tell how this performs long term. Glad that some units are problem free and I would like to hear about more. I am concerned about the hot mouthpiece and I don't know if I would be interested in having to use the added silicone mouthpiece to make it more tolerable.

I too am holding off too buying this unit. Having to wait so long to get it once you or order is a problem for me. This was going to be my Black Friday purchase but I want it for Christmas so I'm going to order the Haze.

Maybe this will be ready to order and receive next summer. Is that too optimistic?
