Nice one!!! It's so nice seeing other fellow hoppers being beer fans as well!! :D
This one I haven't tried, but I must say that drinking ale and vaping is a damn nice combination.
My latest funky beer that I drank was DogC intergalactic stout @ 16%...!! Other than that, my IPA and ipm. stout list can get going forever...

Ps: St. Patrick's is almost here, cheers..

My hopper no longer auto times-out. If I click it on it seems to stay on indefinitely, I have noticed this a few times but kept forgetting about it as I'm always real hoppered when I leave it on.

Just now I felt some heat in my hand after palming the hopper for about a minute, maybe more.

It was still on and although the chamber was mostly already cooked it gave off a massive cloud after having a long time pre-heating...

I'm pretty sure this GH used to time-out before, but can't be certain...
Does your hopper stay on or time-out?

I don't think I ever kept it on long enough to check.
totally missing out, I left mine on accidentally before for about 10 minutes.
I wrote a whole spiel but I lost it, it was a bit of a ramble so an appropriate loss.

But my hopper is killing me right now, giving me clouds bordering combusting GH level, which are A grade quality.
It's probably on the way out, but I'ma let it take me down with it.

What a pity about safety cause this is how the GH should be, it needs to pre-heat to equilibrium just like any vape for peak performance (read the threads, there are beer coolers on EQs and stuff). When you get it there it's fucking amazing.
I get combustion sized clouds, like thick white silky bastards straight from the get go (it actually dies down as the hit goes on, probably the difference between it and Sublimator level) and after one hit the chamber is still green, and I can get two or three more big proper hits.
I'd say 30% of my GH life, maybe even 50% as been like this, it's a great time. The remainder has been still better than my EQ so I'm happy, but the irrationally rich version of myself in a multiverse owns the Sublimator too.

Anyone want to place bets on how many days my Ti will last, or if I'll get my previous warranty (that I still have here lol) back in time? Odds are bad

Love it.

Always love your pics and pairings.
Funny but I enjoy the vaping part so much I don't linger on it as an activity. I do moreso with my Vapcap and Sticky Brick, but even with those I tend to be done in a minute or two.
Damn lack of self-control.

For the past few weeks I too had been marveling about the Hopper's performance.
Wait for it...RMA last week.

Sending @MoltenTiger good vibes from the steel city (misnomer).

If one is coming back soon, failure of the other is imminent.
Good on you to go down with the sinking ship!
But do try to turn it off now and then.

It'll come back soon-ish, after they receive it and service it, and after I send it. It'll be a month at least and cost me a stick of weed haha. Then this one will die, hopefully it lasts a month.

And yeah, I'm not purposely trying to kill my unit, quite the opposite in fact.

However it seems that it is almost certified for these units to fail, whose experience differs?

As a daily driver through glass these things get hammered and can only cope for some time. It's great that we can send them away for service. It'd be even greater if the experience in-between was consistent, but there is clear fluctuation of performance with the GH.

Still no other vape really tempts me (except that I will be getting a Sup3), there are far too many compromises to have a robust system doing what the hopper does almost robustly. Having two is a blast, I just shouldn't have held onto a broken spare for over a month :p
Damn that WPA! It was supposed to be released already, and my hopper was supposed to be on the way back to me with two tapered ends :(

No, I have never had my GH time out. This what I could find on their site

My Raw Ti has been performing as you describe yours... for a LONG time... It's been stellar in performance, consistently delivering strong milky clouds. I haven't been thinking it will be taking a crap soon - I hope not, cuz my grey Ti works at about 60% of the Raw's.

So I'm not giving odds on a failure lest I jinx meself!

I still wonder why someone would read the reddit forum.. I've no experience with it but from the layout and the coloring, it doesn't really keep you engaged no matter what's going on there, plus the fact that FC is the oneee... All this information that can be found here, I doubt that there is anything similar to that on there.. Sorry for my off topic posting, but I tried following @MoltenTiger your post but I just made it through 3 threads. No need for more.. :p
Nevertheless, it's a bit ridiculous for me the fact that HL staff decide to post such updates to reddit, rather than FC....

New issue? Yesterday after a long and for the hopper a heavy night too I wasn't able to screw the frontend on the Hopper. There was no grip. Thought the frontend and thread of the Hopper just need an ISO wash cause the frontend and its inner thread looked pretty clogged. After doing so the threads were clean but threads doesnt still grip. And there is no more gap between frontend and hopper. Cant see anything but threads must been damaged? F+++ it!

Do you have an extra front-end?

If the damage was on the hopper threads you would think you would be able to see it ...

No, I haven't! Have to search my little microscope. ATM I can't recognize any damages.
Was carefully all the time. Never forced the threads. No accident while disconnected. I don't really know.

Probably I've to go to 'Verdampftnochmal' trying another frontend.

But I've never heard or read here before about such an issue!?

wow.. this sounds really weird dude.. MP is being built to stand severe scratching and fiddling around.. I personally use a straight screw driver to clean the bottom of my MP. I'm only dipping it in ISO when I feel the clogged threads and/or some resistance in blowing through the MP, then I know that the front part needs some proper cleaning..
This is like once a week or so and I'm using it all day, every day more or less.. I'm not saying that I'm 24/7 baked but now with the hopper, I'd say that out of the 12 hrs that u're awake within the day probably 3-4 out of them I'm totally sobber...:ninja: shiiiit.. didn't sound that nice... hahaha

Not sure if it's the same issue, but a while back there was someone that had the screen loosen and couldn't get it on correctly.

Check the screen with fine tipped tweezers to see if it it's loose or moves maybe?

Screen is firmly fixed and how said there is not the smallest gap anymore between frontend and hopper when I push both together. So there is no more space for screwing. Inner thread of the frontend seems to slip over the thread of the hopper.

Well, I'm up for my first RMA. I got two SS hoppers so I'll still have one to use. I'm not really surprised, one of them has tended to get really hot on the backend and seemed to get blinking blue lights more often that I needed to twist the temp adj to make go away. It just didn't seem to work as solidly as my other one. I'm so glad that I went ahead and got two while they were still 175.

Reading all this page about the cleaning and gunk being stuck, I start to question my sanity.

All my vapes, not just this one, every time, and I mean every time I clean it after a session. But it's like a minute and done. For example this vape, I take 1 q tip, dip it in ISO, clear out the mouthpiece and tank with one end, "and I'm talking just a tiny bit, not soaked", then wipe out the other end. Thing looks new always everyday.

Am I crazy?
