I would just use it even if it does break down, that's the point of having the GH to use it. If something goes wrong with it you know they'll replace it.
I'm going to use it, just not if I don't need it's quick heat up and stealth. Around the house I'm now only going to use my OG Pax (which I may retire in a few months. We'll see) and my da buddha. I'm not going to put too much stress on a fragile device that needs at least a month to get fixed if something goes wrong. It took a month to get it "fixed" when all they had to do was put a new part in an envelope and send it to me. Imagine if I had to actually send it in so they could diagnose it. I wouldn't get it back until after pre-orders were done.

I have to disagree on the "no clouds under 3" statement. I hit mine all day at 2.5 and get a nice golden brown output. The flavor and effect are amazing, and so are the clouds. I take slower draws but that's just me.
Like I said, depends on your draw. If you take long slow draws you'll get clouds at 2.5-3. If not, you won't really start to see any clouds before 3, sometimes 3.5, depending on your draw style.

Yeah you could get clouds at 2.5 I tried it last night. I just had to get the hang of mine. The flavor is amazing at the lower temperatures and not bad at all at higher temperatures. The taste of the flower really comes through.

So my warranty replacement body came in on Saturday. It seems to have fixed the problem but I haven't actually tested the hopper yet. I'm almost afraid to now. It took a month from the initial warranty claim being put in to the time I actually got my replacement part. As I stated in an earlier comment, they basically stopped communicating with me. They took a week to respond initially. After 2 weeks (12 days, actually) I e-mailed asking what the status was and they responded saying it would go out that same day (they actually responded quickly to that e-mail. Maybe a few hours. This was also the last e-mail I received from them.) and that I would get the tracking info. 3 days later I still had no tracking info, so I e-mailed again. 4 days later, I received my new body. Now, here's why I'm upset about this: I already know that a package leaving Colorado going to NYC only takes 3 days (Not my first time ordering something USPS from a company in Colorado.). This means that they had told me they would send out my replacement, didn't send it out, and then stopped responding after they got called out on it (not that I really called them out, I just asked if it went out as planned or not). I had a faster turnover when I had to send my entire computer in for a warranty repair and that had to be opened up, diagnosed, fixed, and sent back. All these guys had to do was grab a new body, stick it in an envelope, and mail it. I'm pretty disappointed in the lack of communication with people waiting for warranty repairs as well as the very slow speed. On top of that, the mouthpiece doesn't even screw on 100%. There's a very small gap, almost like it needs another 1/4 turn, between the body and the mouthpiece, but I don't want to force it for fear of breaking it or never being able to open it again. I thought it was maybe caused by some gunk on the mouthpiece so I cleaned it out. Nope. I haven't tested my new body but I honestly don't know when I will. I bought a Da Buddha to use as my daily driver and I still have my OG Pax to use with my water pipe (that thing is a tank. I don't care what you guys say it's an amazing vaporizer) so the GH is being relegated to pure stealth use. Because it took so long to get it replaced and it appears to be so fragile, I don't think I'm going to subject it to heavy use. I may take 1 hit tonight after work to make sure it works but then it's back in the box until I need it.

Yo won't really see clouds if you're under temp 3. Even on temp 3 it really depends on how you hit it. If you take a really long draw, you'll probably see some clouds. You want to cloud chase? Crank it up to 4.5 and go nuts.

I think you should just twist the top tighter. No risk, no sweet Hopper vapor!

I had the same problem with my hoppers that the mouthpiece and body had a small gap. I cleaned the mouthpiece in ISO and then after that, I used a toothpick and pushed on the screen in the mouthpiece only on the edges that are solid and that dislodged a few specks of herb and turned the screen a bit. When I screwed it back onto the body, there was no longer a gap. YMMV

I did something very similar. Still have a gap.

...Do you really think that wasn't the first thing I tried? It was also the 3rd thing I tried, after cleaning it didn't do the trick.

@osolx26 Like others have mentioned this has happened to mine with the gunk, and I cleaned it and it went away. It sounds like yours is having a different issue, you're probably going to have to contact them and see what they say.

FWIW the Grasshopper Mouthpiece doesn't need to be 100% screwed on. After a month and a half I cleaned both of my mouthpieces because I was only getting about 80% of the mouthpiece screwed on. No issues in threading nor in how it was being vaped, just in aesthetic.

Cloudy...
And what about the flavour? In another post someone told me about a "metalic" taste and it makes sense, but is better than for example a Pax2?

Oh I figured that much. Like I said, I haven't actually used it since I got the new body (I had a few friends coming over and the grasshopper isn't great for groups). it's just a little annoying that it doesn't seem to fit properly. I probably wouldn't have cared at all if they hadn't gotten me all upset by, you know, ignoring my e-mails (of which I only sent 3 and 2 of them were answering their questions.), and then actually mailing it 2-3 days after they said "it will be going out this afternoon". If all of that hadn't happened and it came in exactly the way it did, I wouldn't care. But because it did happen the mouthpiece not screwing on is now a much bigger annoyance.

Like everyone states, it's a very pure tasting vapor. It's like you taste what your herb smells like, I guess that the best explanation I can give. The Pax2 vapor is tasty but only on the first petal for me, and only the first few hits. Then it's downhill from there. The GH even on the higher levels tastes pure and doesn't taste done until it is. IMO. I just got my Pax2 back and I haven't even used it, if that says anything. It's a great little session vape though.

Got the replacement today, #4 replaced, 5th back end. Just in time too, the other one's heating deteriorated drastically over the last week. Was very odd, the lower settings 1-4 no longer got hot. It would just immediately go blue after turning on, no heat. At 4+ it behaved like it did at 2 and 3, and that's the only way it worked. Oh well, this one worked well for the first 3 loads.

I'll disagree with everyone that says no clouds on 3 >. I only use it at 2, 2.5 and sometimes 3. I get nice clouds with long slow draws, with great flavor. I may occasionally rip one on 4+, but very rare. Tastes like shit after one hit that way.

It will never be that high once it hits the market

well, don't be so sure.. Especially when eventually more people come across, the demand will definitely be higher.. I wish you're right but I do have my concerns.. Vapefiend will be having it 200GBP as well, which is around 250E..

An official EU MSRP has not been set, but it looks like prices for the stainless steel edition will likely be in the 230/250 euro price range.

If only I had some extra bucks aside... I would order another 2-3 units for sure... I'm curious to see when they will either stop taking pre-orders or change their price..
