hi. i'm back from a ban. :) sill stand by what i said and wouldn't change any word if writing it again. i disagree that all frustration stones should be thrown in da GHL garden. yes, buyers are not doing anything illegal, but they are being a selfish and greedy.

by ze way, i wrote an e-mail about this unfair issue to GHL, and i get encouraging answer. Caroline thanked me for pointing this situation out. and said that this will be addressed to the team asap. i'm not sure if i can copy/paste that private e-mail here by ze rules. never read those. but don't want to risk getting more ban any time soon. :)

Could you at least mention the issue? I think that it would concern anyone that has already placed an order with the HL.

the issue is that i have to wait longer because people, who are in front of me in that line, are ordering extras. i hope that this practice will be done and dusted very soon. GHL had no idea that people are canceling their orders and ordering trough their friends who are up in da line. i told them that.

I have been pretty annoyed that they were letting this happen. I can't imagine it didn't add considerably to production times. It's one thing to still let people join at the back of the line, but letting backers, and now preorders, add more grasshoppers to their order was just a bad idea. If even 1/10th of backers added 1 hopper then they had 300 extra hoppers to fill. That's not an insignificant number in a company that takes over a month to finish that amount of product.

I have to agree. Folks are spending a lot of time and energy on this forum lately complaining about how HL is treating backers and pre-orderers; then complaining when HL allows backers and pre-orderers one perk for their patience. Tough to be a Hopper these days.

write an e-mail to them! more people do that, more possible that commonsense will prevail.

I am one of those others and I don't share your sentiments regarding it. I have no problem waiting until it's my turn to add to my order, and I like that I can add the extra units at the time of fulfillment, instead of tying up even more money for months.

Differing viewpoints...it works for me.

Had some Maui Haze in the hopper again, started at 2.5 for one hit, went to 4 took two hits, and finished it off at 5 with one big cloud. It was about 1/4 full, I definitely got the hang of it. I could get 3 bowls out of a battery doing it this way or just finishing it fast at 4 or 5. I realized that my Gh does better when I pull steady and not too fast. If I pull fast too early it won't produce vapor as well.

I think a big problem with being able to add extras to orders is that the markup to sell on the secondary market is huge. On eBay, it is going for $450...that isn't fair to other people waiting.

They could stop this by lowering the quantity allowed. That shit would drive me mad when shopping for toys for my kids and they were all double the price on ebay instead of on store shelves. If, as a collective, we don't buy them for that it will stop as well, but that ain't happening.
