@biohacker if you do happen to just get the heater you can always get a metal K-Clip.

TBH though the advantage of the 7th floor Joint is it has a clear bowl area that is not frosted and gives you good visibility of your material.

It is also wide and has a barrel like shape to hold more flowers.

Has anyone done concentrate sandwiches or double deckers w/ the Elev8r ?
:goon: Always comin around trying to ruin peoples days with your little 'suggestions' that lead to rabbit holes :whoa:

I LOVE IT! :lmao:

Thanks brother, I guess there was a reason my order hasn't gone through yet! :D Just waiting for my paypal invoice, so i'll ask for an additional clip in addition to my extra heater (for $25 why not?).

I must say that although not at my preferred speed/pace, 7th floor customer service certainly aims to please!

Looking forward to giving another shot at convection vaping! Especially since the torch is a daily driver for me! Newport Jumbo should have the Elev8tr at temp in 20 secs! What a 10" BEAST! (that's what she said)

:rockon:7th floor!

Sorry, I believe we are working on applying a few types of new shipping methods for Intl.

Thank you Alex for your answer, I'm sure you're gonna find a better deal for international shipping than a flat 35 USD rate...
This new device is all over the social media and I guess a lot of potential customers are waiting a chance to try it, plus here in the EU a lot of people like butane vapes.

@The Beagle thiis vape definitely chugs out the vapor when you ramp up your draw speed on inhalation, like we were discussing with the XL, except much more so.

The air is pretty free flowing with the WPA, there is some restriction but it is just perfect. It does take a few seconds for vapor to form, and it can seem like it won't come then suddenly it comes in bounds, and when you speed up your drawspeed it just gives and gives. You can keep on inhaling until the temp drops down and it will give you as much vapor as you can handle, too much for me.

Another observation -the Elev8r makes my water tool pong real bad (I don't mean bad just a lot), like the FP did, but the Glass Symphony didnt make my water tools smell at all.:hmm:

Hi there folks... Sorry about the delay getting back to you.. I'm in a pretty small town in the desert of southwest New Mexico and sometimes our infrastructure crash's. My wyfi and cell phone have both been dead the last few days. Kind of a nice thing being reminded of life without high tech... Definitely brings you back down to earth.. Anyway.. ordered and received this, inhttps://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00EPQ3TYY/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1..
Its a test tube holder for $5 and a penny... works great on my Elev8r heater thingy.. And I really want to elaborate on my positive comment regarding the Elev8r.. First off.... its so easy. Just open the storage compartment on my grinder and pinch up about a twentieth of a gram and throw it in a bowel that's very reminiscint of the Cyclone bowl on my Arizer X-treme... A really good thing as it is my favorite bowl for just a wee bit of herb when I'm by myself and don't need a community size session bowl.. With my new torch it just takes a moment to heat the Elev8r to the proper temperature (that pretty red glow) for the most pleasant and clean tasting hit I can get of any of my current vapes.. As I mentioned previously the water pipe adapter is just a fantastic option.. I must admit to a preference to the little wand and bowl combo though.. I just keep it in a handy spot for a quick bake and take (heat and hit).. So @Alexis , how do you like it? I've gotta tell you, I have like zero glass, and after getting this I'm suddenly asking myself why? Do you find it the equal to other setups your familiar with?

Wow... took me so long to type this ^^ that there's 4 new posts.. I just wanted to chime in a little note.. I may be wrong (don't think so though) but this thing is just an awesome example of true convection vaping.. It doesn't really matter to how long you heat the knob thing.. The bowl should remain cool until you draw the air in.. And the heck of it is that it really works well.. I've actually heated the knob quite hot in an attempt to see if I could get hot enough to combust.. I couldn't.. This thing is tortoise proof (fool proof).. I unplugged my tower and am running this one on a regular basis now.. I think its that pure, clean taste that's won me over.. Bye folks.

Hey guys, completely amazed by the ELEV8R I just got. Sadly I just noticed a centimeter long crack in the heater tip. Does anyone know if it's safe to keep using with all the intense heat cycles? Wondering about the structural integrity of the glass when damaged. :(

Hey man. Yeah it is a superb little vaporizer to be fair, I am really enjoying it actually. A lot more so now that Im feeling a lot better and my chest is a lot clearer for the minute.
Still dialing it in but when you get it right the taste is amazing.

By far my favorite thing about the Elev8r though is the joyous uplifting effect. Very complete buzz.
Check out the previous page dude where there's a number of impressions you must have missed.

Have fun in the desert bro.

@ShayWhiteGrow Thanks, mate. I just ordered another heater from 7thFloor. While being bummed out, I found a silver lining while waiting for my new tip. My mouthpiece from OGB (Mike at oregonglassblower.com) will fit perfectly with new heater and sick clip. Nice to have a "wand" backup in case of another mishap.

@biohacker ,good day brother! Just to say that I am tolerating the Elev8r surprisingly well as I am getting it instinctively dialled in over the week.
Now I am loving the pure taste. Im browning my loads much more gradually and it is keeping the vapor smoother. Just slightly less heating (no set time, just intutive but consistent).
And I can get a very good feel for where it is at by holding the heater up to my chin or hand (but be careful if you try this- this vape makes me wobble and I damn well toiched the glass on my cheek due to medicatedness:lol:).

My tolerance of the Elev8r has improved a ton this week as I have really hammered the infections. I swear there is 70% LESS infection in my lungs now, than 7 days ago.

It is also getting a feel for it. I am hitting the sweet spot for clouds of very smooth, incredible tasting vapor with ease now. Im surprised how well I have it dialled in.

Technique wise- it's actually easier for me than heating the vapcap! More flexible, less specific. Just spread the heat a bit and nothing can go wrong. It is much harder for me to get decent, satisfying hits from my Omnivap consistently without going too hot, taste and harshness wise (ESPECIALLY when dry).

The Elev8r is making it very easy the last 2 days to replicate smooth, tasty (10× more than vapcap) and very large hits without any bad ones!
It is giving me very close to what the SH and GS offered, effect wise (and taste when dialled in), but not making my life hell with that awful reaction! It just isn't doing it, whatever "it" is.

However, Im not wantinf to get your hopes up that you won't have any issue with the pure convection. I accept my crazy respiratory allergies and still choose to vaporize. Unusual case, but I manage the symptoms thoroughly like I do anyway with food etc.

Too Elev8d bro to get this thought out.;) It is hard for me to see all that is going on inside. So variable and complex- infections, die-off, allergies, foods, etc.

So I may just be accepting the pure convection type irritation you suffer from as part of my allergies, and just working around it, if you get me-Just trying to be dead honest with myself and with you mainly.

Today my level of comfort right now, after Elev8r, no symptoms even managed yet- is amazing!
Monday it was 10/10 discomfort.

Now- gosh, hard to say. All I know is that I am aware of the usual "allergy", like I didn't get away with it, but it is almost unimportant to me.This is due to infections down at minute.

The point: 100% convection- very close function and effects/experience to both SH and GS.

But NOT making my life hell at all! I would be so unhappy and debilitated right now from those vapes. (Not vape bashing people, just me and @biohacker 's crazy vape intolerances).

All said, now Im dialled in better, until I get my Herbo Ti...

The Elev8r is the best vaporizer I have right now- for taste, smoothness, ease of actual inhalation (another thing I love about it- much easier for me than GS and FP), and most of all effects!

Sorry to go on guys/girls. Just very high, and so happy I can breathe so well for the moment to enjoy my vaporizers.

Elev8r rocks! Spread the word, thanks for watching.

@7thFloorVapes Can you chime in on this cracked heater issue? Of course glass is prone to breakage, but do minor cracks affect the heater tip's effectiveness or safety during repeated heating? Is it possible that the torch heat itself would cause this to happen, perhaps a sudden change of temp being the culprit?

Thanks in advance for your suggestions. Love the Elev8r.

just_the_flu

they say im crazy but i have a good time
...unless it decides to explode during heating (which i HIGHLY doubt would happen) i do not see/presume any safety or performance issues...

...worse case i can anticipate is the crack gets bigger and the heater falls apart (in a non-violent way)... for me its a non-issue issue.... cosmetic at best?

Worst case scenatio is...you have to buy a new heater...then if that breaks...you have to buy a new heater...then if that breaks...

Hopefully just rare instances though. No major safety risk just watch out for glass bits and clean up safely if it comes to it. Meanwhile just keep it going with an eye on it.

Abysmal Vapor

Supersniffer 2000 - robot fart detection device
Would be sick if you could heat it up with an e-nail barrel coil...... hybrid heating, torch on the go, electric at home
I have something in works with the Gn0me heater, but have yet to buy an e-nail to see if it is going to work in reality :).I dont see t any reason why this wont work with 7thfloor concept either ,maybe will have to bump the temps a bit,but e-nail coils from what i see can get quite hot.
Also as cool as that concept it is ,providing more accuracy ,i think it robs some of the all glass romantics of the device, adding a heated metal coil near the air intake.
Someone commented that this vape made his bubbler smell unpleasant. After playing a while with that type of heaters i think it is essential for its hygiene to remove it prior end of inhalation. So you can avoid blowback and rising vapor from the heater bowl to come in contact and recondense on the heater, which results in the taste you are describing.
