Yo Alexis,
Your info on type of salt intake is mind-blowing! Bob Barefoot the coral calcium guy was sold on the milky spring runoff
in the high Himalayas that was loaded with mineral rich silt. I have to research that special salt of yours, but I believe you are on to something major!
Oh yeah great new torch vaporizer, but my VAS has been satisfied..... for now.

Been using this bad boy for a week now....The flavor is still spot on!! Nice even extraction and this fucker hits like thors hammer!! As in my earlier post my only complaint is it needs a nice bag to pair with it and one more complaint my little ball thing fell off the stirrer after using it, should be able to put some super glue on it. Have not tried concentrates yet.

just_the_flu

they say im crazy but i have a good time
...i like this vape.... torch does make a difference! i thought i had a great torch (Blazer 2001) but other peoples flames looked much bigger... i got some flame envy  so i picked up a blazer 8000 (big shot)... WOW! what a difference! i was even able to push the limits and combust a little using the big shot (wasn't able to with my blazer 2001)

I dunno, your shipping seems about double what it should be. To Canada, i'm at approximately $40usd.

...my shipping was ~$40 as well ($36.81 to be exact) plus ~$25 COD for duty.... I'm roughly 1.5-2h west of the 401 from you (south east of London)

haha, I went through exactly the same thing recently... got rid of all my blazers and will only go Brule or Big Shot! So much faster and better!

Cool thanks for that info! They were looking into doing something about shipping but I never heard back. With that cost + duties, i'll wait for a canadian retailer or PIU.

Has anyone done concentrate sandwiches or double deckers w/ the Elev8r ?
We DO NOT Recommend this....Unless you do one with us! Ride the Wave!

Holy fuck that's a lot...
I only need the heater part as I'll only use it through water and I already own several double jointed bowls so shipping would make for 50% of the final price.

They were looking into doing something about shipping but I never heard back.

I asked them as well but they ignored my question a couple of times, I guess they are ok with just sticking to the US market.

Yeah same here, i'll never use it dry and just need that heater part too. I always used my LSV with just a double 18mm male adapter. Might be worth buying the extra heater and then selling the kit? Is it just an 18mm male?

They told me they had some communication issues, and offered to help but i'm still waiting for them to take my money.

When you guys say you only need the heater, you mean the wpa too right? I also never had much ambition to use it dry (havent yet).

But it didn't deter me, thinking I only need one part of the kit. I mean it comes as a package, having an unused glass stem is no issue for me, I expect I will use it some time. An option anyway, but also from a potential e-sale point of view.

If it wasn't for expensive intl shipping, and possible duties, then the price is very fair I think, even if you never used the dry tube.

That said, I can fuly understand where you are comong from on this. Hope they can hook you up with a differerent shipping option.
@7thFloorVapes seem like great people, really as happy and cheery as any vape manufacturers out there (possibly a little more?).
Im sure thay will look into this and make it happen if they think there is a way.

I'm just curious, what size opening is the WPA? If that an 18mm female, you could just use another glass adapter/reducer instead as an option. Did that with the LSV, worked better than their WPA IMO.

Certainly, that's why the extra heater for $25 is a steal!

Completely agree!

Yep, you're right- just checked and indeed it is 18 mm. It was a wobbly fit in my D020 D but to be expected.
The Herbo XL bowl fits neatly in the WPA. As long as you can get a bowl rim that matches the sick clip, you should be good.

Good to hear, 7th Floor have already leapt up to being podium contenders for my favorite vape manufacturers! So many now that bring pure enthusiasm and good will to the table.

Meanwhile, let the battle of the Symphony's begin! (Or shall we make it a race?)
It cracked me up last night seeing new listing pop up just above mine- I had to rub my eyes for a minute I thought I was tripping haha.

Thanks for checking! You would have to create some sort of solution for a screen in there as well. But do you really need to use that clip? Can't you just plop the glass heater on top and torch? Clip is more for the dry mouthpiece?

Have you been using yours much?

Sorry, I believe we are working on applying a few types of new shipping methods for Intl. Btw my name is Alex. I believe BJ may have stepped in to say hi
rockon.gif
We redeveloped our domestic shipping methods in 2017 and are currently working on developing a new system for intl. ents to better serve everyone. Our team will be at the Vegas AGE (American Glass Expo) so hopefully by next week or the following.

If anyone has any ideas to help us out with our intl. friends, let us know! Talk to you soon, fellow ents!

If your substitute bowl has a screen then that should suffice no? The heater will have its own screen in the bottom.
I am getting really confused with obvious little things at the moment, kind of in a bit of a dreamland so far this week. So I may be missing the obvious?

Im sure you can use it with no sick clip, I just really appreciate the added security feature. I really like being able to remove the bowl and heater together as one secure peace without worrying about the heater falling out. It only goes in a few mm in to the top of the bowl so thete would be a security element without the clip where it could easily be knocked out if you are not careful.

And being able to just shake the load as opposed to stirring is a really refreshing change.
But it will definitely work without the clip as long as you have a pair of tongs I guess.

@biohacker sorry bro, I missed your question have I been using it a lot- (Mods, I had to double post or this alert would be missed-blame FC site designers;)).

It is a really topsy turvy time right now with all my energy and time going into symptoms, treatments and staying on top of infections. Very difficult right now to enjoy my vapes properly, with no energy or time to want to actually vape- just after easy effects for the moment.

So Im juggling 4 diff vapes around until I can get my future beloved Ti.
I had 2 Elev8r bowls monday, first try.

Torched it WAY too long, didn't expect much from it- 60 seconds double torch. Then hit it really hard through water.

Easily one of the densest hits I have ever done. No question, the Elev8r hits much harder than I will ever be able to hit it, a real need for discipline and some regulation with this one.

So my chest was very badly aggravated from Monday's trials, did a second bowl later that night, but again went a bit too hot. I was seriously medicated, LOVED the effect, as much as any vape high I have had for years. I was wobbling around in a giddy state, feeling very Elev8ed!:whoa:

Left it alone tuesday as my chest was so bad from such huge, hot hits. Wednesday- 4 loads, plus several vapcaps and edibles- heavy day for me.
Much better success at minimising irritation. And I saw that you really don't need to torch it for as long as I was led to believe by most reports.

20 to 30 seconds MAX with the double brulee and huge clouds still. Short re-heats on top.
I did some smaller loads, 0.1 to 0.15. It worked very well still, very large hits, except the bonus to using a larger load is that it keeps it worthwhile as the vapor starts to diminish and it can be a bit tedious to keep heating to extract the last bit from a small load, but it works well still.

I also noticed that the extraction was more even with a larger load.
So after my 4 loads on Wednesday my chest was much happier than it was on Monday. And I did over darken some of the loads as well so this would have caused more irritation than I would like.

Infections are still bad in specific lung areas at mo, so it is the wrong time to really assess things.

Bad day yesterday super tired and didn't really feel like Vaping until late evening. I just had one bowl in the Elev8r last night. I wasn't going to use it yesterday because after Wednesday I just didn't feel like hitting a heavy vape for a change- it's normally the other way round!

I started using a log vaporizer but found it to be unsatisfying and was drawn very strongly back to the Elev8r. Hence, one medium load. Very nice effects.

Lots more testing to be done. So far a very impressive vaporizer, with the potential to hit as hard as any other I have used practically. I certainly plan to keep it even if only for occasional use when I have a desktop I am comfortable with.

:)EVERYBODY - CHECK THIS GREAT REVIEW OUT::)
Good old @Sneaky Pete he has done another stellar review here with a lot of great points.

I just pulled the trigger this morning and should have one Monday.

Are folks using a timer for cool downs? Are there any numbers ppl are using are we all just figuring it out as we go along?

VERY excited for this TORCH vape  Fire is cool

Welcome aboard bro, and cool that we can hopefully share a vape after all now since I had to abandon my FP completely!:(

I gave it to my mum for now, so those Ti doubles you sent me are still going to serve very well, big big thanks again for that man.

I hope you will like the Elev8r- it is a good match for the FP actually because of the very strong and full effects, I mean a lot of vapes out there can quickly cease to satisfy when you are accustomed to these super heavy desktops.
Keep us posted please and have a lot of fun.

Just got mine yesterday but have not tried it out. I dont think it is like a quartz banger where we have to wait for a cooldown. Most videos that I have seen show them hitting it after torching (maybe a few second pause)

C'mon FC I figured you guys would have all sorts of numbers, charts, etc... :goon:

We need @emmdeemo to get one of these :brow:

I guess I'll be playing with my timer on Monday :science:

I did try to use the stopwatch on my tablet (cheap stopwatch on the way) but Im no good at being subjective and consistent with these things, or even storing note of what happened. I have too many other pressing bodily signals coming in to appraise and react to, like allergies etc, and a mega whirring mind.

Your torch will make the biggest difference. With my double brulee torch I would personally avoid heating more than 30 seconds even from cold. MUCH less on re-heats, where there will be no set time or way to really know how long to heat, except go by vapor production as it stops or decreases, and keeping in mind how much is actually left in the load of course.

I think for most it will be an intutive things that could be tuned in quite well with experience and time. Although I have no doubt that many will be able to more accurately and consistently monitor and replicate the experience.

Timing cool downs and reheats though will be variable. Im afraid we aren't all quite the serious vaporists that have driven the evolution and culture of the Flowerpot here so far, more like sightseers and tourists (and serious vaporists too, on a holiday detour!)

Love this thing! Took me a few bowls to figure out the timing. The torch makes the biggest difference. I initially bought one from lowes with a single flame but found one that had a double and it works much better. I also go by the orange glow the glass starts to give off. All in all its a must have, it's gonna be my driver for a while.
