And what is the best tasting vape in your opinion? Glass purity is interesting, but with no temp control there's no guarantees the hits will taste better than my FP (which tastes great - and if I was using it dry, with a glass straw like this ELEV8R it would probably taste even better!)

I feel like I could still finish a bowl quicker in a FP, even starting from cold. At least from what I've seen in ELEV8R usage videos so far.

I'd be curious to hear your many other points?

My interest is in the possibility that this might taste better sometimes, or have a fun quirky ritual. But I haven't heard from any owners that it really is the best tasting vaporizer they've ever used. Waiting for @WakeAndVape review just like you!

Good question, i'd probably have to go with the MiniVap and the VripTech Heat Wand, but honestly i'd have to take some time and sit down and really ponder them all. Those two really stand out for me though. Oh, I guess i'd have to add the LSV in there....at the right temp, absolutely sublime, and better than the FP IMO.

Hard to say since I don't own one, but from owning the FP I would think that this one is more of a full on convection experience and possibly smoother quality vapour due to the glass. Apparently some FP hackers are modding/using glass slides with the showerhead and won't go back to the Ti? Speaks volumes to me.

the FP is an amazing vape, as are other awesome convection vapes (Glass Symphony, Herborizer, Herbalizer, e-nano, Vriptech, EVO, etc) but they just don't work for me unless the temp is moderate to low, but then i'm not satisfied with the effects and vapour output even though the taste is great.

I think most of the forum is relative flavor chasers, provided they have access to flavors. Someone in illegal-land won't have the flavor opportunities you or I can get so it's harder to be a flavor snob. First world stoner problems?

I sure do, and completely realize my risk with the GS going in! If it doesn't work for me, than vaping flowers sadly just isn't for me. But rosin seems to be filling that gap nicely!

That's the only reason I even consider this vape, as I know for certain that the lack of temp control would kill it for me with flowers. Shit, even WITH temp control it's likely not to work well for flowers for me...but with that being said, there was something about that LSV smoothness at the right temp (11:00 for me) that worked incredibly well for flavour.

But for Rosin/concentrates, this looks pretty sick. I just don't like seeing that precious nectar drip through the pad in @WakeAndVape preview. Same thing happened with a S&B pad with my FP....I just don't like those pads at all.... i've wasted way too much. I stick with organic cotton wrap, and wanting to try the hempwick fiber asap!

@Alexis I don't understand how it's cheaper for you to get this shipped to England than it is for Canada! I had two options - fedex which was like $38 and USPS was $41 I think. Absurd for something that wouldn't cost me more than $15 to ship!

Well I just checked and my shpping was $35. With the discounts it all still came to $107. I HAD to be impulsive when I saw this. I expect customs to sting me of course but you never know.
I know one thing, the bastards need to get a better calculator and quick. Just payed £45 duties on my GS today, order total was only £179 including shipping, and the shipping wasn't even declared for them to do a sly one on me.

if you packed a smaller amount and used a larger torch...it could easily happen

How big is the bowl?
If I can finish around twice the amount of a Vapcap tip in a single hit I'm definitely going to try this one.

My ceramic pad started to taste bad so i torched it. It looks brand new again.
However, it's starting to ooze a bit and the maximum dab-size has gone down to a size lower than 'fun time' dab.

the leap to butane vapes was one of the most important steps in vape evolution...it opens up a whole nother side of things.

you might need 2 1/2 tips to cover the screen, but once you figure out that sweet spot for timing...i could see that happening.

i can double check when I get the new one just to make sure my numbers are correct on bowl size though.

Yeah dude I figured as much. Most of my wastage has occurred due to loading too much, either on a pad or in cotton. Those replacements pads are pretty reasonably priced, but not sure this vape can provide a better rosin experience for me compared to the sv3? Have you done dabs in cotton with your Dually my friend?

I get my torches from a kitchen supply store. Most well equipped stores will have a few brule torch options for much cheaper than amazon/eBay in canada

I need to get a torch still for my Elev8r. It is down to a simple double flame brulee torch off Amazon which I linked above:

I have not done cotton dabs in the supreme...at the advice of @Morty the sandwich puts me in a coma and I find that a go-to method...I will try that today though!

This vape is like an: all glass, snack-size-hit supreme with a bigger bowl the taste is slightly better than the supreme (because of the all glass thing)....but the glass is a bigger risk of course.

Having both isn't a bad idea.

I'D go for the double torch all day...that is the same torch I use...just with a different brand name.(mine is Leokor)

watch out for the nozzle after a long run, that shit gets hot...but it heats up the Glass much faster than a single torch...much like a dynavap

I can see even small amounts leaking around to the edge and falling down the side. Still seeking a better convection dab experience than the supreme v3, e-nano, or apparently the FF2.

Damn that's a thick ass banger, I heat my quartz banger for 20 seconds and I don't even have a kitchen torch, just a triple jet I used for my Vapcap.

If you drop the PID another 100 degrees do you still prefer the ELEV8R flavor? The SiC dish should be about 10x more conductive than the Showerhead and about 100x more conductive than the quartz banger.

I dunno, your shipping seems about double what it should be. To Canada, i'm at approximately $40usd. I just bought a Mighty from Puffitup and shipping was only $24 for perspective for something much bigger/heavier. I do want to buy your device, but sorry the absurd shipping cost is holding me back. Any Canadian retailers going to stock the elev8r?

I'm off to ship a vape over the border (recent classifieds sale)....and it will be about $15, and trust me we get hosed on shipping way more than in the U.S.!
