Thanks @WoodVillain

The pack has a waist belt on the back and also a small dense rubber tab with a slit in it that I use to biner it right-side-up over the side of the hammock. I've spent many dozens of hours in my ENO double too...it's a comfortable ride. I've got 2 stands with hammocks in my den and spent a lot of time in those too.

Nothing like a wake and vape after a good night's hammock sleep!

Great view!

Even after all these years, I have yet to take to trying a hammock in the woods. Come to think of it, I could probably count the times I've been in a hammock on one hand with a few fingers missing.

My girlfriend is a mmj patient and needs water conditioning for her vapor every time. My f-Bomb must always comes along and I wanted a padded carrying bag that would keep it protected and also be waterproof (a freshly-emptied hydratube is not very dry).

Nice case. I agree, emptying the tube after each use to store (and refilling again before you can use it) is a hassle. I think you should consider switching to one like this:

Not only is it smaller (and cheaper should it have an accident) but it's lighter and doesn't spill. No need to empty it at all.

I found a padded hip belt pouch (Mountainsmith Vibe TLS) with a waterproof zipper compartment that fits the f-Bomb perfectly. It also has a number of other useful pockets, including a separate fleece-lined pocket in the front. It's also made of 100% recycled material.

The inside waterproof pocket keeps the f-Bomb off the bottom of the pouch far enough for the AA to slide underneath. The 4-battery caddy with extra stem(s) fits in the rear compartment and any small grinders, containers, mini-whips, etc can easily be separated in one of the 6 divided areas in the pouch.

I'm not much of a hip-belt wearer and usually attach it to a backpack or hammock. It would work well for fast and light activities like running, xc-skiiing, biking, rock climbing, etc. The main thing I like about it is how perfectly it fits everything with just enough padding and compartments.

How do you keep your F-bomb looking new?

It's an obsession but it's pleasin'

I like that one too. I also have a small 5" Aqua Vape inline conditioner that doesn't spill. I can connect it with silicone or a mini whip but I really like the function of the f-Bomb. It produces a very satisfying micro-chug compared to the other small pieces I've tried.

I just shake a couple tablespoons of ISO in it every few days. Always cleans up like new.

So do all the new Air's come with the battery indicator now? Has anyone bought a new air that doesn't indicate the battery level on start up?
Here is a video of the battery indicator (sorry dont know why its fucking with the aspect ratio but should still show what we need):

Video
His battery shows red. But my first-run Air only shows blue on startup so half the time it dies when you start a sesh.

Mine starts with green, then white, then orange and the last one is red for the battery indicator.

How long can you use it when it's red? Do you have to be careful with draining the battery or is there a safety circuit?

Did you get that Air Gong from PIU? Looks like a good choice for without water too.

The thick glass from the Gong side looks like it should provide protection?

I did get it from PIU, haven't tried it without a water tool. Water filtration is high on my priority list, I use it when I can.

Time will tell about the durability. I have been using it full time when I'm home the last couple days and like it, more draw resistance than my favorite GonG (PVHES Turbo) but I get denser hits.

I just had it cut out on me lol, if you don't have a battery indicator the only thing you get is the flashing red light when it dies. I was planning on selling and buying a new indicator one, but I got the pax 2 for $230 instead so I'll see how that compares

The battery (OEM) is unprotected, but the Air does have a cutoff (around 3.4V if i remember right) and if it goes wrong you just put a new one in  but most cases of batteries going wrong (and its not common) are when charging not when in use.

If you read around the net there are some horror stories about these and many other batteries, but most cases are from improper use or low quality/fakes.

There are ways to to extend battery life a little but its user changeable so just use it and enjoy it

If you want to further protect your F-bomb investment, the rubber "skin" protector that came with the Air fits nicely on my f-bomb. For more stealth put on the black one.

Ordered my Air + an extra battery yesterday afternoon. Paid extra to get it here today. It's on the truck for delivery at this very moment. My palms are getting sweaty from excitement.

As well they should be.

I don't know the experience personally, of course, but I've heard about it..........

I'm sure you'll enjoy it, the adventure is about to start. It's a vape that really pays a bonus for the guy who experiments seeking a good technique to deliver the results he wants. It has a lot of flexibility and lot of 'give and take' to get it done.

Welcome to the fun.

Which Ebay seller recommend to buy the Air? Units are legitimate?
The vendors claim to have the original warranty.

Thank you to everyone who has contributed information to this thread. I'm working my way though it and I've learned a lot, not just about the Air itself. I had purchased an Air about a month ago but had to sell it before it even arrived due to circumstances. Luckily I sold it to a guy I work with and have been able to enjoy it the past month. I came across FC a few days ago and I'm hooked. There is a good community of people here so I thought I'd join. A couple days ago I decided I needed to buy another Air. Just ordered one from TV.

I bought a POS plug in vape probably 10 years ago a little before taking a 6 year tolerance break haha. I started combusting (eek!) about 3 years ago to help deal with stomach issues I was/am having. I had tried a Silver Surfer in that first year but a plug-in vape was out of the question so I forgot about them. I switched to mostly BHO about a year later and continued that until right before ordering the Air. The guy I sold the Air to had brought me to a friends place and I tried out a Volcano (which totally annihilated me) and I started searching for portable vape options. I knew about the Solo as I had ordered one online for another person I work with (we're all a bunch of stoners apparently ) but I didn't realize they had made a more portable option.

I have ordered some 4mm to usb cords based on @FC recommendation and a battery charger based on @CentiZen
I'm really excited to try the different methods of packing with and without a screen, inverted or regular dome, different temperatures etc. One thing I can't get over is the wonderful taste of vaping, it makes the experience so much more pleasurable.

Yes I can see very clearly that there will be a learning curve.

Right now I'm completely blown away by the fact that I'm so right without that whole business of breathing smoke in and out of my lungs.

And how darn simple the thing is to use. Other than the little bit of figuring out how to get the stem seated properly.

Man where have I been.

I can see where this whole deal might be leading.

You should take a look at this thread http://fuckcombustion.com/threads/2015-4-20-sales.17855/ before you consider ebay. It's a very good time of year to be in the market for a vaporizer. I just bought one from Puffitup, thanks in part to the sale posted over there. Very happy with FC, Puffitup customer service and the Air.

I actually ordered my air on ebay, and 2 solos and a couple other vapes. Never had a problem and the one time my solo acted up, he had me send it in and I was able to get a new one.
