Yes, I set up sur_myevic on a P80 following Pipes instructions here:

PID and TCR numbers I found somewhere in the Splinter thread.
Surprisingly Cruising is working great, comparable to the TUBOx. Like it better then TCR with my Splinter Z on DNA, where I'm still preferring cycling through watts with some Boost.
And it seems for my vaping habits, holding temperature while Cruising is more power saving than heating up for each draw in Power mode.

Might have old myevic? That happened to someone else, make sure it's surmyevic, but I still say stick with stock

I tried again and I can get it to work but not all that reliably. Long enough to get it to 15 second cutoff at least.

How is it that the Z can retain flavor after so many hits? I’ve yet to experience another vaporizer that can do so. Is it related to the mesh heater?

for some reason my ohm is stuck om 0.41 and i can't change it to 0.22

Seems that is a regular Splinter, not a Z... I would not really trust those settings personally, too many unknown variables

Ok so i did everything, now my Splinter Z works better, it's much more comfortable and the ABV is even, i set it up to 185c 36w and it's locked at 0.41 ohm, i just press fire, wait 3 sec and take a hit. it's literally the best on demand method to vape out there imo.

You might want to try it as is before customizing it. It should work fine. And when you know what changes you want you can download some software.
My RX3 arrived today. I think that what I thought was an RX2/3 was really an RX3. My Z will be happy with it. I was going to add Tubo software to my 2/3 since it's covered but will try to get different software for my original one.

Hey guys! I ordered my Splinter Z a couple days ago and it should be here early next week. (Gotta love Canada Post.) I'm beyond excited!
I have the TUBOx manual quick start guide open and it looks fairly straightforward (I'm a fairly advanced user of ecigs for nicotine vaping); I've changed all my settings to the ones recommended in that manual. I've changed the Algo settings to P: 400, I: 250 and D: 10 with the boost at 15% and the main setting set to "PID" at the recommendation of a friend. Are there any other settings I should change?
I know I need to wait until I get it to really figure out how to use it, but if someone has a good-quality YouTube video recommendation or just a rundown on how it'll vape that'd be pretty awesome. Thanks!

Not sure why the RX3 is so popular. I was rarely using the one I already had because, unlike my other mods, it turns totally off when I fire a bit too long. The new one has myevic software but still does that. So, I'm delegating it to the v2 and assigning my old evic mini to the Z. It's still one of my favorite mods.

Not the RX3 (I know I'm in the minority). But if you don't like the P80 which I wish I'd bought the VT75D is an inexpensive DNA. It was recommended by the maker of a different vape and works great.

I tried my DNA mod again last night and actually combusted. I’ve never combusted in wattage mode. And I had it set low, at 330F. Wattage mode makes intuitive sense to me. TC baffles me.
