Discontinued Lil' Bud by Vapwood

@THeJokEr February batch will ship this week, along with your Walnut unit. I've been building this batch along with the first few Elites, all should ship this week. I'm trying to divide my time between both units, even though the Elite is a slower build process.
This is a pretty batch, benefiting from many of the Elite upgrades. The coil is now mounted to a smaller wood disk (7/8 vs 1 inch). This eliminates the need to form a groove in the coil chamber for post clearance. This also makes lining the oven with foil neater, with better coverage. Should be *reflected* in performance. The use of sanding sponge blocks keeps those edges so neat. Of course our 3 amp switch is still kicking ass.

I don't think this gets said enough about the Lil' Bud, but the ability to load up a stem and then sip on it on and off over the course of a day is one of its finest attributes.
I loaded up a stem with CBD flower and a pinch of cannabis at about 10:30am and I just now finished the stem and it's 3:30pm. I stir more often when I do this, but the flavor stays really nice til the very last hit.
I just love that aspect of the LB. Sure am glad I learned pretty quickly that I dig on-demand vapes, and happier still I found the LB.

I've been using my old school milaana for the past few months and the difference is noticeable. The heater makes it easier to get vapor and the glass lined tube is quite smooth. Very happy!
Oh and the on/off switch is super nice! Love the recessed design and machined finish.

Congratulations on your new LB @nickzzzx , seems you guys are hitting it off good!
Here's my cherry bomb below. I use the j-hook and d-020 with this LB only. stock tubes go in my Walnut OG. I haven't used my other Walnut LB recently but it looks great on standby ready for action, how ever needed.

@P.A.M. when you have some extra jingle-jangles in your pocket you should check out a 4" glass-lined roasting tube from Alan. Honestly they provide the smoothest vape experience I have ever had, especially given the size of the hits the LB gives me. And flavor for days.
Plus cleaning day is fun day-I use a stem for a week, and then turn the glass stem around. Then use it for another week. Then I pick up my other glass lined tube and do the same thing. Once a month I clean them typically in my morning coffee. It's the only edible buzz I really enjoy. In fact I like the reclaim from glass so much all of my vapes use glass stems; Solo, vapcaps with DDave glass water wands, and an Arizer Air on the way. Cleaning day is happy day for me.

I get pretty massive clouds (with smoothness) with the jhook though... perhaps bigger then my 4" tube. It does or can punch a bowl pretty fast too!

Jokes aside, if not after a smooth, huge, lung busting rip (which your 4" glasslined tube already can deliver pretty well) then no need to get j'hooked on bud really .
The j-hook does bring yet another pleasurable way of using the Lil'Bud
Lil' Bud must feel neglected because his little brother is stealing all his thunder. Have no fear Classic lovers, we all know that the Classic laid the foundation that the Elite is built on. Any Classics that are ordered currently will fall into the April batch of Classic / Elites. I will probably continue to split batches this way, of course depending upon demand.
The Elite is performing well, even though only 8 units have shipped (including @Alan and I that is 10 units in operation), I'm working on another 15 or so. There will be a few Classics that ship later this week that were purchased in February as well.
Looking forward to a busy 2019, and I just wanna say thanks to my Classic customers for making the Classic, as well as the Elite, possible. Thanks all!

Just did 3 bowls with the fam jam, starting with the OG at top and finishing with the cherry 2.0.
Mike had really nailed it from the getgo with the first couple batches of LB's. Not a full-on dark roast but the taste , roast eveness and extraction of my Original LB is phenomenal. It is my favorite to use stock out of the 3 LB's I own. Very smooth .
My second LB's performance is similar to the original , it's seems a bit quicker with a hot spot but surely I had it leashed better when using it everyday. They are both Walnut , the OG seems to taste better, I'm not sure if due to different Walnut grain, the few degree temp difference or both..
My 3rd LB , a T-1000 Arnold could get baked off of it , its just raw , in yo' face . Full steam ahead vaping machine . It delivers on all aspects , is very close to the latest LB Classic specs. One of the last 3 holed bud .

@caseball2051 I love the Samsung 30Q, and always seem to return to them. Not too hot at 15A, but plenty of legs.
Classics are moving well. For now, North American hardwoods of Cherry, Walnut, and Maple are the three choices. All units are available with a standard roasting tube or glass insert (cooling tube). The Classic is still a bargain starting at $189. I'm glad to see that units sold over a year ago are still kickin' ass. Many things have changed over time, units have gotten *tighter* all around, but those first few batches are still chuggin' along.
Great thing about LB and Vapwood is how we improved things over time. I do most of my ranting on the Elite thread, but the Classic is benefiting from many of the Elite *solved challenges*. As a result of the Elite project, the Classic has seen multiple improvements in the manufacturing process. From the flipped switch box, to the 7/8" disk, to the tighter coil, it's a tighter, more powerful machine than before the Elite. At the same time, the Elite has exploded out of the box because of the solid foundation the Classic has built over the last year. I want to thank you Classic users who've made this happen.

I couldn't see your images so I reposted and can see it in the quoted post. Thank you so much. The Classic, and the Elite can and will not be held back. I really appreciate the shout outs. One thing I do know, it's a quality product with lots of integrity behind it.
Thank you, @Bravesst ! Thank you for making the Lil' Bud an incredibly potent on-demand vape. It has become my daily-driver and my primary source to medicate. I look forward to the continued refrinement and development of both the Classic and the Elite!
