Me and my lady wanted to get heavily buzzed before we headed down to our favorite authentic Mexican restaurant.

We were sippin 100 proof rapidly, and chasing it down with the Crafty packed to the brim with some incredible herb.

Maybe Oli mentioned this 40 or some pages back, but when your Crafty is warming up, take the top off and just smell the herb heating up. It's a fucking divine scent, you have to try it.

At the end of my mega buzz session, I showed her the remains of our bowl and it was scary how paltry it looked.

Literally all shreds of life were gone from it, it was disturbing how desaturated it looked no color; so lifeless but not in anyway black.

I'm walking into this Mexican restaurant and I'm fuckkked up, I probably haven't looked so geeked walking into a restaurant since high school. Extremely medicated, extremely.

Not sure if you are saying this is a good thing or a bad thing. Also, I haven't noticed my Crafty ABV looking any more "paltry" or "lifeless" than other ABV. It's maybe just a bit darker.

Will say that so far all the combusters that ive heard after they hit the crafty were impressed with the high. Around here we generally do well rounded buzz in session with others, so about 180-185 until no vapor and last few puffs at boost of max temp.

What are you folks thinking about all puffs at max or close to max? I wasnt as happy with it as it seemed to reduce the number of draws by three fold!

I noticed that as well I do get less pulls when doing start to finish max temp but the effect is insane. So close to combusting I was so happy

What is up with Storz-Bickel customer service? I emailed them several times over a week ago, and I still have not gotten a response, in 8 days. So I tried to call them today, And no one was available to answer the phone. You aren't even given the option to wait on hold. I called them at 1:30 PM their time. I certainly don't call this good customer service. For all intents and purposes, they are on reachable!

Out of curiousity what did you email them about? Do you need a repair? Because I feel like when people ask questions they straight up ignore you like they did to me when I had some questions about the crafty. I must say its pretty shittt considering they're one of the best companies they should have excellent customer service. If this was for a repair then thats 10000% unacceptable. Yea it's the best vape ever but apple makes the best phone ever and they answerr all your questions even stupid ones.

Important Note to all S & b Portable owners.

It has been mentioned, but I have still managed to slice most of my "cooling unit O rings" by not seating them down ALL THE WAY DOWN, it is being sliced by the "mighty logo/lock"take a look as you put the lock back on, if you see the O ring through the gap, it will get sliced :)

Lmao it's so funny because I literally said that PURPOSELY because I know some apple hater was gonna come on here and say that. Everyone has their own opinion but apple and Samsung make the best phones period! And they DO answer all your calls and emails so I don't know what you mean saying no they don't. But then again you can't really compare apple to storz and Bickel because they're not nearly as big of a company but regardless they should be ANSWERING EVERY EMAIL!!

You say everyone has their own opinion but you said "Apple and Samsung make the best phones" like it is a fact. They are the largest manufacturers of smartphones for their respective operating systems, but they do not make the best phones.

Apple hater? I'm conversing with you on my iMac. The very first computer I ever owned was the Mac Plus back in 1986 and since then, Macs are the only computers that I have ever owned.

Pesso, you seem to have this affliction of not only making general statements that are not true (with the most recent statements about Apple and Samsung), but making assumptions, like I'm an Apple hater, that are not true either.

Also, just because I love my Macs does NOT mean that they are best. What is a fact and not an opinion is that they are the best for me but that does not mean that they are the best for anyone else. The same can be said for S&B portables or anything else for that matter.

Your dogmatic approach in stating general absolutes strictly based on your own opinions really should be tempered down a bit simply because they are not true.

I then happen to be looking at the housing as i twist the cooling unit off and i can see that the plastic has split and its about to break on both sides of the housing (the housing is in two peices screwed together)
Gutted.
ill try and get a pic up later.

Sounds like a heat related issue. Either the plastic is being weakened by the heat or the resin that gets collected between the cooling unit and the housing cools and solidifies making the cooling unit harder to disengage thereby cracking the housing when being removed or maybe a combination of both. Hmmm.......:hmm:

You guys need to seriously GET A LIFE AND CALM THE FUCK DOWN WITH YOUR TROLLING. every little thing I say you guys are acting like Im saying its gods word. Wow, that sucks. A lot of what's been going on in the crafty thread reminds me of the Pinnacle Pro, great results in the early life of the unit, various build issue problems reported by multiple users down the road.... I know one can't quantify the widespread nature of these issues, so here's hoping it is a minority thing and not epidemic. Even still, I find this vape very intriguing and still sorta want one, but am going to let my empty wallet make that decision for me for now...but maybe later... :evil:

Have you contacted s&b and arranged a replacment???
Mine has been overheating and losing its blue tooth connection.
Its now takes between 2 - 6 hours to charge.
I have been very gentle with mine thus far and have yet to break any bits, but am worried I will eventually.



I have spoken to s&b and will be sending it back for a replacment.

also... how many hours you clock up?

I will try to call them in the morning. If i cant get through ill try the E-mail route.

I think the cause of this fracture is the heat cycle this thing gets, the quality of the thermosetting polymer used and the strength and design of the cooling mouth peice mount. I cant see how this got through product testing.. surely a criteria high on the design lists was robustness, after all it is a portable.

I have been pretty gentle with my crafty in all honesty, its only left my house a few times and only ever been used by myself :-(and it's managed to not be dropped so far. I've been gentle to it because it's been a good friend to me over last few months & christmas, this thing is without doubt one of the best vapes out there for a portable, it just doesnt tick all the boxes in all the right places. The question is , is the superb taste and effects of this vape enough to justify its faults? i bet to some it will because it is pretty dam good at doing what it meant to do (when it does).

We just need to get you a job there. :)

Think you are spot on about solidified resin being an issue btw.

Well looks like going need to send my replacement crafty for another one. Been overheating last couple days now got the flashing yellow red light. Had 52 hours on this unit. No reply from email to S&B. Guess just package it up send it back like last time.

Well after spending 20 mins trying reach a live person at S&B and no reply from them by email again. Got to say really disappointed so far with customer service. When you pay this much for a vaporizer, I figured it would be excellent service from them. Sadly not finding that to be the case.

It is taking longer to charge though, well ive not timed it but it appears thats the case.

Looks like ill be struggling to contact S+B, i have a feeling they have shipped quite a few of these now and maybe they are busy with returns? i can also imagine that there CS dept is not the biggest.

The prices they charge for the products is pretty shocking, The profit margins on the volcano alone must be staggering, let alone the accessories.. i just cant understand why we are ripped off, there is no way on earth these products are worth this much... the problem is we buy them!!!!

I'm holding on as long as possible before getting a replacement.

Guess I'm hoping some changes are made first.

I really like my Mighty still, but s and b kinda seems like its a very understaffed company to get in this portable game, and I am not a huge fan of plastic. Those are my negatives. Positives: a great vapor experience, it is very efficient and pleases my appetite.
