In that case it might be interesting for people to get some sort of temperature reader, would be cool if you could somehow tweak the coil for supreme finetuning :p Assuming you even know what to aim for. But you can definately calibrate it better that way.

Alright so i did the following: Re-align coil so it pretty much touches the bottom and outer sides of the ceramic chamber, as far away from the ceramic holes that transfer the air to the oven, so the temperature is as low as possible when it hits the oven. Furthermore im going to experiment...

So.. just curious about these coil alignment issues, can someone elaborate on what a misaligned coil is? I assume its the position of the coil in relation to the ceramic chamber, but what exactly is a properly aligned coil? Would it be best to have it placed exactly centered, so it doesnt...

The pipe tobacco i use start to dry out after a day of being in my grinder, obviously not air tight. so just leave it anywhere but in an air tight package :p somewhat Dried tobacco tend to give better clouds, true though more potential for combustion too.

I might have put to much emphasis on the coil/debris part. I merely tried to explain how i got the idea about preheating to 'cure' any leftover debris close to the bottom of the oven where the screen is located. Who knows what the hot air does when a small piece of debris is covering one of the...

Honestly.. now i think about it. Since this seems to happen alot when using the device from a cold start, inhaling fast within 8 seconds after pressing down heater button, I believe i think whats going on. I reopened up my FF to check my coil, realigned it. When i was testing the coil without...

I wonder, do you still have to stir the contents if you grind your 'stuff' to a real fine level? Or if you only pack the chamber half full? Or when you pack the chamber with stuff on the bottom and fill the rest up with less important ingredients? Also some technical stuff; Am I right in...

Dont suck too hard for one, if you need to pull excessively, the vaporizer might leak air like mine did. Damn I'm really curious about the future FF2.0 But one part of me is hopin it wont come any time soon as I've only just got my FF a few weeks now. Besides they should probably test the...

muhaha as if I actually paid attention to the details haha. Anyway, for you guys practicing Pipe tobacco in the FF, i've come to notice that slightly dry tobacco performs better compared to fresh tobacco. I cannot explain this since one would be under the impression that fresher pipe tobacco...

Edited Well I can say this much, when you sorted it all out, the taste is almost exactly as the way it smells. As an example, the sweet pipe tobacco i use really does its job whenever I take a draw and i feel the vapor touching my tongue, i can taste the sweetness :) For my normal tobacco...

The firefly can get as hot as combusting a very tiny part of the herb/tobacco but this seems to happen mostly in the bottom of the oven, im talking very small pieces here. Probably because of some left over residue between the screen and the glass, not sure. This effect can totally be avoided...

Well actually today i got the biggest hits ive had so far with a technique change. Slower drawing and keep drawing a few seconds after you released the heating button. Ive noticed a few times how alot of vapor still gets produced after the button is pressed up, this really seems to do it for me!

Thanks for the response. Today I received a new Firefly cover for free! No RMA or anything. It seems to have solved the issue. Also, for the mouthpiece I bought a few torx bits to see if i could get the mouthpiece out, but it seems way to complicated to get it out without totally breaking the...

No. The cover is super strong, i can barely get it off (Ok i have no fingernails but still) I literally have to push hard on the cover to make the leaking stop. Pretty sure its a bad mold.
