    Discontinued The Firefly Vaporizer

Yeah. this bottom piece is still identical to mine, and correct nub and center are indeed about same height. Does anyone else notice the material shrinks or gets denser after a few draws or after session done? Funny thing is i normally fill the bowl to the top, no forcing, after a few draws...

    Discontinued The Firefly Vaporizer

Heh no worries mate. Kinda had difficulty explaining without making actual photos but yeah You hit the nail on the head! Another funny thing is that the side that goes onto the ceramic chamber where the coil resides is actually flat though. First time i saw disassembled FF units i was like...

http://i.imgur.com/Peqgpuo.jpg If it makes any sense. Top view. When i look at the video and pictures, those look like either the ceramic flat piece is flipped around, or others do not have those higher ceramic edges and the 'gap' that fits the metal plate in properly. Weird no? Id rather not...

    Discontinued The Firefly Vaporizer

Why does this FF look different then when i opened mine? In the video it looks as if the flat round metal plate is equally big as the flat round ceramic element. But on my FF the round metal plate is smaller than the flat ceramic piece, and actually fits right in the center of the ceramic...

The result after the initial learning curve is one of the strong points of this vape when you got used to it. So at the end you have supreme control over the vapour quality. Compared to other vapors with 'preset' temperature control, with the FF you basically have extreme fine control. As for...

    Discontinued The Firefly Vaporizer

The FF is just THE BEST convection vapour period! Got it 4 months now and still rocking! That coil re-alignment never caused a single bit of (near) combustion for me ever! No matter how hard I suck on it! Not sure if the FF has a break in period, but with a full bowl i can get like 7-8 draws...

    Discontinued The Firefly Vaporizer

I basically never stir my materials, and for some reason i always manage to equally vape the contents. Once in a while I push the mats down again but thats it pretty much.

    Discontinued The Firefly Vaporizer

Hi all. My self-realigned FF still going strong! No combustion, and I do not expect any in the future. Anyway, i just wanted to say that ive been experimenting with (very)fine grinds and recently went back to a more coarse grind (significantly moar coarse). Damn at least I know the...

You guys talking bout the rubber gasket on the level where the screens sit? like right beside it? Mhh nope i havent seen my gasket coming loose either, and i have taken in/out my screen some 10 times. The rubber o-ring there is not really glued on top of the metal plate but is really held on...

Lets say the tip of my forefinger (I have average handsize) can fit into the bowl, i know this because i usually clean it out with my finger if i'm too lazy to get the cleaning tool.

    Discontinued The Firefly Vaporizer

My wishlist for FF2: - Slightly bigger bowl. - Smaller form factor. - A better system for the top covering the bowl to prevent it from getting as dirty, and at the same time prevent half filled ovens from letting materials go up the chamber by drawing air. - Fix coil alignment deviations...

I wonder how this one will compare with the old FF.

    Discontinued The Firefly Vaporizer

One t The problem is that you cannot judge the FF in 1 minute, not a day, not even a week. It took 4 weeks before i got the hang of it, now its just awesome. Its the most efficient vape out there imho. Since you only heat up the stuff when required, not let it linger in some oven chamber...

Really, suck hard enough on the FF and the 3 vents get restricted enough for the FF to pull air from around the battery casing. Sure its minimal or even absent if you pull normally. seal off the 3 vents with tape to test it out.

    Discontinued The Firefly Vaporizer

Guess someone has to try it out ;) I still have tons of liquids from my old E-cig but i disliked all of them. But it could be because of the cartomizer i used to use. Unfortunately this stuff will probably not be available here and I couldnt be bothered to order some experimental stuff from...

    Discontinued The Firefly Vaporizer

I do not agree with that. At least, unless my eyes deceived me last time I opened up my FF. The air can come through the parts were the coil wires stick out for one, going further inside the battery chamber, is not 100% air tight, neither is the bottom closure plate for the battery. They do...

    Discontinued The Firefly Vaporizer

I used to think that too, when i pull on my FF and press the right side the airflow sounds different, but i cannot see any difference in vaping experience myself. I actually believe mine sucks some air at the battery department, logical as there is no isolation to prevent that from happening...

    Discontinued The Firefly Vaporizer

Honestly a properly aligned FF should barely if never combust even if your material is dry. I think what you are experiencing is combust vs vape and who knows you might have combused all the time in your first few weeks. You definately not want that cuz vapour is way better quality than smoke...

    Discontinued The Firefly Vaporizer

Thats bad. I can easily do a few sessions (like 6 bowls at least fully depleated) I never hit the red light stuff either except when i first used the device when experimenting.

    Discontinued The Firefly Vaporizer

Well i got mine some 5 weeks ago, i just checked and i got the 770mah version (yay!) from Azarius Battery life/charge time is as advertised. Other than the increased cap, is the bat really of better quality?
