    The Firefly 2 vaporizer

Nice try though. it really wastes all the bowl space :P Just curious, do you often vape tobacco in it? my rolling tobacco tastes like crap, perhaps i should try a flavor pipe tobacco again

    The Firefly 2 vaporizer

Arent the concentrate pads way too thick and not nearly as wide as 21mm? Also Im not sure but perhaps you should try a finer mesh screen? What about two on top of each other? Or a smaller screen (1.5cm) bowl size, like the old FF1 had a screen on the bottom of the bowl. So basically you have...

    The Firefly 2 vaporizer

Will do, I'd care less about warranty anyway haha. Already ordered lots of copper/SS screens. I hope there are no downsides to this mod. If resistance ends up too low one can always put the mouthpiece screen back on

    The Firefly 2 vaporizer

If anyone is using the concentrate pads, do you reckon by pushing them down into the ceramic/glass whatever chamber, the sides will get damaged or scratched? I'm also thinking about changing the bowl screen with a Mesh pad, what do you guys think? :D I'm somewhat disappointed by the air...

    The Firefly 2 vaporizer

Honestly its been the same in FF1 thread. Horror stories, the fact is that 90% that come here probably have issues or concerns in the first place so its biased. Anyone else who is 'just happy' is too stoned to even bother :P My FF1 lasted through the end, I expect my gorgious white FF2 to be...

    The Firefly 2 vaporizer

For me its subtle, but my original FF had air leaks which i had to fix manually so i cant recall exactly. FF2 seems great so far, i feel the resistance is quite balanced

    The Firefly 2 vaporizer

We shall see, I will definately share my experiences! It just arrived so cant wait!! I dont think id mind slightly more resistance. My old FF was black and as with my iphone i decided to go white because it makes me happy :) Go against the masses :p Question: How do you guys maintain maximum...

    The Firefly 2 vaporizer

Hi! Been back after a year, been active in the FF1 scene and the device never failed me. But I threw it away because i was done with it for a while. Ordered a FF2 White yesterday and can't wait to try it! Expecting it to work even better than the original :)

    Discontinued The Firefly Vaporizer

Thx for the pics, my FF looks exactly like the non counterfeit one :)

    Discontinued The Firefly Vaporizer

Lets say hypothetically I do have a counterfeit too, it works marvelous either way. Half a year old now :p 770mah bat, i cant remember last time the bat was fully empty :p But really, I dont. I double checked the site where i bought it, and its a very reliable site that would never buy cheap...

    Discontinued The Firefly Vaporizer

Heating the device can make noise, this doesnt ncessarily indicate its a fake. My original FF does it too, its qute logical as the coil expands when heating up, and if it touches the ceramic chamber it will make this noise. Its a bit like a car engine coolng down, tick tick tick. Just different.

    Counterfeit FireFly

Why does the black one seem to have red letters "Firefly" on it? Mines arent red. Seems fake!

    Discontinued The Firefly Vaporizer

I took black and i have no regrets. i think silver and red make it stand out too much, it is already on the edge of portability so. black is just awesome. imho it looks like the least cheap looking color, altho the FF doesnt look cheap no matter what color you apply on it xD

    Discontinued The Firefly Vaporizer

Just a heads up, my black FF still rockin and no noticable change in usage or battery life. 6 months old give or take. (my first FF too!) i recently ordered a watertap for some other purpose and noticed it contained a few screens for filtering. I cut them into the right size and now use it as...

    Discontinued The Firefly Vaporizer

Im not sure about the pitting, and Im even more unsure as of what materials they used for the mouthpiece etc. The only thing I know is that the FF isnt the only device introducing pitting when mixed with fluids, saliva, etc. Apple products have this particular issue, ive seen it happed to my...

    Discontinued The Firefly Vaporizer

Well, when i first intentionally overheated my FF it definately turned red. and the device was unplugged. Though i mght be confused with the low charge state, oh well. Dont really care so far ive only seen blue/green hehe which is gdood

Speculation about how vapour clouds form

vapour is produced by extracting water molecules from material :)

Perhaps this is the reason they changed the design! still weird to see such a big metal plate mines like alot smaller :p

Couldnt agree more, definwtely a cool vaper. The unit gets warm after usage, but the air being pulled out isnt even warm here lol. FF really did a good job on the design. Id say the 'coolness' can be compared to just breathing air in your local room ambient temperature. Also my unit is tightly...
