So US buyers should stick to @VGOODIEZ, @PuffItUp, @stickstones(POTV), or Sneaky Pete in Canada to get decent after sales support?
S$B even told me to go to a local agent to save time and money on the 3x mighties that shit themselves(Cheap German crap).
The same in Canada. Always buy from a trusted reseller to get the best support.

I like the XVape/XMax/Topgreen products, but the company is not responsive. I emailed them months ago and never received a reply. Buy from somewhere that will take care of you.

I understand you. Because of my device which gets not so hot like before after only 3 months using the shop do not react to my guarantee question and Topgreen not too to the adress which @PPN told us.
I only wrote to both because me was told that it is under guarantee and Topgreen will helps if the shop didnt it.

Maybe there come an mail in some days, but I think more no than yes.
I don't really care as I ordered a replacement V3 PR0 yesterday for 77 Euro when I ordered 2 other new vapes.
Again i only tried it because me was told. LoL

But it is a great Vape and for the money it is manageable i think. For that they have a fair price :)

My V3 has the rolling ball negative terminal. I've managed to nick the covers of two batteries. The device needs a better design, not better instruction for use.
Mine also has the rolling ball terminal, and it just seems tight getting the battery in and out. I don't think I damaged my wrap, but after reading the comments here and charging externally twice, I just decided I will charge the battery in the vape.
Ok, thank you for sharing your troubles about that battery topic, I'll transmit the info asap
your word in god's ear. I don't have a feather on the pole. and one device is the "newer" with the buzz in on demand mode. But all good, I just buy a new device if something should be defective. it is no problem for me. and keep your good service ;)
Thank you!
Haha, my second newer unit has the ball + terminal and is the one that is damaged.. . obviously still not hamfisted Aussie proof...back to the engineers as I have a couple of V3 Tera's that use the same method of battery retention, just x2 batteries and never had a problem there.
Ok, so the new ball terminal is damaging the battery more than the older, I'll transmit to engineer
I just received my WPA from POV and instead of sending the glass adapter, that I ordered, they sent an all silicone adapter. WTF:cuss: Has anyone else ordered the glass WPA from POV?
They are showing available and in-stock here. This is what I ordered and received the silicone adapter.

I think there was a mix between orders or somebody confused wpa's, please contact POTV , I'm convinced they will take care of you.
I now tested again about the Problem that one device makes now brighter ABV after 4 months, and at the beginning it was exact the same.
I changed the batteries again like someone here says. And thx for the tips to change. It is good with keep the battery parallel to the contacts. ;)
The better one in the bad device.
Now i am sure it is not the Battery. Thanks for the tip here.
Ok, it's probably just cause units aren't exactly calibrated in the same T° range but I may be wrong...
Today was super Vape Monday. Both my Tinymight and XMaxV3 Pro arrived at the same time! Just ordered last week!

I purchased the WPA for the XMAXV3 Pro from Planet of the Apes and it turns out to made of silicone...just slips over the mouthpiece. I th8 it would be made of glass for some reason. Probably confused it with the Tinymight.

Is there anything special one should do putting an extra screen in it?
Wow, POTV seems to get an employee confusing wpa's, I'm sure they will take care of you, let us to know....
No, reach out to POTV, they sent you the wrong thing, there is a glass mouthpiece and that is what they were selling, someone else you see above was sent the wrong one like you... Shocked they're doing that!
Probably just human factor, it's holidays and probably a new employee mistake... my two cents
I just got one of these (Thanks Xmax) and must say that I'm pleasantly surprised how well this little dude works with my bubbler. More testing is needed of course. For science. :science:

:peace:
That's great, I'm glad you like it, enjoy!
Mine comes on and says "Sensor Error" then shuts off.

Turn it on again and it works.

This is every time.

Zero problems changing battery, what is the big deal?

David
Hi, it looks like your unit is develloping an issue, another guy in Reddit r/XmaxVape got the same issue and after sometime unit stopped to work sadly. Please contact your retailer, if it doesn't honor the warranty by itself I'll provide you our direct support team email.
hmm wonder why the vendor rep told you to reach out to the shop, i reached out to my shop and they said xmax deals with all the warranties and to email them on their website - using their hyperlink they themselves provided - I did not get a response at all there, until I asked here and used another email provided here for customer service. Maybe something has now changed??

Also their customer service started out well, lotsa quick responses asking for serial # and proof of purchase, and now getting into the issue it seems like they are just dragging.

What I mean by this was I had to send a - hey whats going on can I get a update email after week+ maybe 2 weeks of silence? And now I have literally paid for the replacement s/h over like a week+ ago and just waiting since I have been told I will be emailed once it ships.

It shouldn't take me 3-4weeks to be where I am at and still have no clue on when I would get the replacement after paying. At least I have other vapes, maybe just delays from holidays I hope.
Hi, please look at your pm, I'll try my best to help.

Hi, the same, look at your pm we 'll try to get your warranty honored.

Regarding the battery. I have been dealing with cylindrical lithium ion batteries for about 7 years. Unlike AA, AAA, C, and D cells which are uniform, there are differences in the lithium ions.

They can come with or without a positive "button" so manufactures have to specify which one. Most of them have a flat positive terminus.

I noticed that the fir with the negative ball terminal is tight. However, so far I have not ruined a wrapper. (I have tons of shrink wrap if necessary.)

I find, again at least so far, that if I am careful, keeping the battery almost parallel to the horizontal axis of the device, that I can get it in and out unscathed.

From a manufacturers perspective, there are only so many changes they can make at this point.

On the positive side, the spring loading of the terminal affords a very secure fit. The batter is not going to lose contact. If they go to the only alternative, a metal strip with a bump in it, over time, the fit might loosen. I can understand people not wanting to have to rewrap their batteries. I don't mind because I don't find it a burden.

As for POTV sending me the wrong WPA, I was never worried about it. They got back to me and said they knew about it, that it was a mistake and that they were being sent to them by the manufacturer.

I have found their email support to be very responsive.

Probably was posted, but I wasn't sure, so here is a photo of the little cooling unit that is inside the glass WPA attachment (same as glass mouthpiece and bubbler mouthpiece) it is pretty cool actually, just a simple hole in the sides, so you have a flat space for the vapor to hit as it comes out, split into two directions:
PXL_20211230_220733059.jpgPXL_20211230_220739063.jpg

Seems like the glass WPA fits pretty loose and wobbly in there though now that I reassembled it and I'm trying it out... Otherwise it is working very well:

I'll try the bubbler mouthpiece next, dry first, seems like it could work quite well with water, but it's really hard to get the water out, because its anti-spill no leak design...

Edit to add: I had two hits at 342 and another at 353 through the inception hook before I moved to 380 through Saki bottle for one, then one at 385 there, and two more at 398F to finish... Results here, super lemon haze:

Thanks for the pics. POTV told me that they would send the right one when they get it. I am sure it is better than the silicone...it just slips over the top...not all that bad but with what you have, the entire mouthpiece is removed making a straight shot.

Yeah, definitely nicer, that's good, I knew they would take care of you! I also really like using the HealtyRips Fury 2 mutli WPA as well, different experience, it is like the TM multi WPA with fixed glass honeycomb screen, so you load the stem and stick that inside the X-Max... Excited to try it with these new mouthpieces holding it in place now!

but it's really hard to get the water out,
Blow through the mouthpiece instead of sucking, it empties quite easily that way.
I find I have to mouth pull very vigorously to prime the unit enough to get any sort of decent vapor using the mini bubbler as it is a bit restrictive to other accessories that are available.
I am finding that I grab the standard mouthpiece the most as it does cool so well with that ceramic maze.
I still use the glass stem and glass WPA as a change is nice, just not as much as the OG.

Yeah, I did that, still cannot get all the water out, there is a tiny bit that cannot come out at all, pretty annoying lol I did use it empty, it was pretty nice, it does good cooling without any water, however I finished that bowl on the lower end because the taste was gone and it felt done (starting to taste not good)

Blow both ways top and bottom repeating until all water gone. :2c:

Are there any reputable content creators, given the Xmax V3 Pro is such a low price point, that would be willing to do a complete tear down video? Also I’ve read that Xmax will be releasing their own dosing capsules. @PPN do you have any details you could share about this and what differences between the POTV capsules and the ones being designed by OEM (Xmax)?

Very good product that deserves more global attention!

One area for improvement with the V3Pro - material tends to stick to the screen when you remove the mouthpiece. This is especially true if you vape part of a bowl and allow the device to cool down with material still in the bowl. The resin in the material causes a significant amount of material to stick to the screen. I would be interested to see if dosing capsules will allow for enough vapor production to suit my needs. Dosing capsules should eliminate the issue with material sticking to the screen.

I noticed the same thing with the G Pen Dash. I have dieing capsules, the POTV ones. When I try them I will post something

I have been using the Fury Edge dosing capsules in the V3 Pro and they fit and function pretty nicely.

Not sure how I feel about the vape. It’s not mine. It’s the Gf’s. Was her present. I did maybe 3-4 sessions out of it. I find the airflow way to loose. I was using it at 220C and plugging all the intake holes to get dense clouds. I seem to prefer session over on demand mode. Flavor is good though. I have just been doing a lose pack no tamp. Not sure if I am doing anything wrong here. Guess I need to try more bowls and see how it goes.

Instead of trying to turn a convection vape into a conduction hybrid vape try cigar-puffing/huffing until you see a little vapor then 4 to 10 seconds (depending on the sized hit you want) lung pull for monster clouds. If your bud is not extra dry it may take 6 to 10 cigar puffs to start the vapor engine. Your packing sounds fine...sprinkle fill to 4/5 full in the oven so the silicon filter can seal properly without tamping your load will also help in the learning process with this vape.

This vape is very different than my firefly. That’s for sure. I haven’t tried cigar puff yet. But I really pull on it super hard and am getting big clouds now at 200C. I can really hear the air going in when I take my hits now. Guess I wasn’t pulling strong enough. Most convection I’ve used were slow and steady.
