TinyMight / TM 2

Putin is a War Criminal
So it seems pretty clear that there has been at least 1 major upgrade to the TM that we know about so far? My original TM was bought in 5/20 and I sent it back for repairs at the beginning of 2021. Since I've had it back, it seems like my batteries don't last near as long. Like I'll only get 2 or 3 bowls per charge. I've even had times where I would cut the TM on and get 2 vibrations for the battery, and then when I go to hit it, while its warming up, it will cut off because battery is dead.
I have a feeling that this behavior is more battery related than TM related, mostly because it is different depending on which battery I am using. I don't have a first gen TM to compare as my first one came around September of last year and it came with a Sony battery. My newer TM came with an LGHG2. I also have some Samsung 30Qs and I recently purchased some Molicell P28s. The LGHE2s I had have bitten the dust.
I tend to use a battery until it cuts out in the TM. Because I tend to use session mode it is very obvious when that happens. On some of my older batteries that are starting to sag I find that once it gets down to 2 buzzes it may cut out at any time. The P28s are clearly a longer lasting battery, so far, and I can even occasionally get a hit on a single buzz, but I will always get several hits if I am getting 2 buzzes. The HG2s are my most commonly used battery because I use them in my Splinter Zs as well and I usually get at least a couple good hits at 2 buzzes, but if they are weakening maybe only one long one. The 30Qs are somewhere in the middle. Any new battery purchases will likely be P28s if I can find them or P26s if I can't, tho I haven't tried them in a Z yet.
So, the batteries really do matter, and it seems to me they may be the biggest factor in how many hits we get in our TMs. And while I still use several of my other vapes, including a couple butane ones, the TM is almost always the first one I reach for.

I did forget to add (I didnt forget I was just to lazy to type) like a week or two ago when you guys were comparing batteries but mentioned you didn't get to compare them new. I did get to compare the Moticell P26s and the brown LG battery that came with my TM new since I got them at the same time, the Moticells definitely performed more consistently throughout its charge than the LG. I kinda avoid that battery for no good reason now lol

Same here. Got both those batteries new, and prefer the Molicel for the same reasons as stated above. It just performs better when battery is low or not.

👀............. I'm sure some of you saw my classified and your thinking... Betrayer! I just wanted to say I still love my tinymight and I only sold my spare. Why you might ask? I was fine with having a spare when it was being used but my mom's hernia has gotten worse to the point even taking a steady breath can agitate it and vaping doesn't make it any easier either but the biggest nail in the coffin was she started on a CBG oil and it's been like a miracle drug for her :o Does more for her than vaping CBD alone ever did so she hasn't felt the need to vape since trying the CBG. I could shelve a perfectly good vape but why? I bought them around the same time and he continues to make improvements in later versions....... My own tinymight doesn't see heavy use since I'm mostly a micro doser and after all my tinkering I've seen the resiliency of the tinymight, it withstood me after all. I see my tinymight functioning for quite some time and by the time I need a spare who knows what improvements will be made and I might as well but a new one then. Or V2 with lazers lol

CBG/CBD combo is indeed a gamechanger imo, I like to use those two together or with some med marijuana(THC). I don't use my Tinymight as much unless I'm outside/hiking or at a friends place so I don't blame you. Still love it tho. I hope he improves the button on the TM eventually

its really not bad as long as you don't drop it I haven't had any worries. I was just hiking with it all las weekend with it in my pocket, almost busted my ass a few times too but the Tinymight is fine lol. I am thinking of getting another vape(hopefully smaller) like the dotleaf or something to take instead

If there's anyone still hesitant about TinyMight customer service, I have to say my experience was pretty great considering all the hiccups that happened to me. DHL lost my package two times, each time TinyMight sent out a new device. However, due to my poor communication on my part, I only received the device and none of my accessories (again my fault, wasn't clear enough in my email), TinyMight sent yet another package to me and I have received my complete order. I just wanted to throw this out there because I know there were a few people who said they didn't want to order one because of their customer service. I know experience may vary, but hey whatever!

Yay, I knew you would get set eventually!

I would avoid the Dotleaf for now as it seems many people are having issues combusting even on their latest 1.5 model with the newest ovens. In addition, IMO, their customer service is not the greatest from reading that thread and doesn’t seem to be handling customer’s issues with free replacement ovens or updating firmware for owners with 1.0 model.

Does anyone have any advice on how to consisently get good hits out of the Tinymight? I want to love this little guy but I can't get roasted avb or anything. Perhaps my heater is broken?

I have been using different screens, packing techniques, stems, draw speeds, just about everything

Welcome to FC, first suggestion would be o-rings for airflow gaps... Perhaps the battery?

I don't tamp, pack as wide as deep, take a 10+ second draws and increase the temp from 4 to 10 (depending on the flower and stem/bong). I am never let down, good hits everytime. the harder I pull the Tinymight always keeps up. Check page 187 and look for the washer. If you have the right torx screwdriver make sure the bottom screw is tight.

I always find myself tamping atleast a little to make sure the herb does not fall onto the heating element when the stem is fliped, should I not be doing that?

I looked at the tear down, what washer are you talking about I'm not sure? Besides that I've never seen the glass cyclinder in the vape when i take the ring off the top and the o ring only a metal one comes out

You have to remove lid to see glass and oring. I lose a lot of punch removing /inserting stems and reseat oring to glass tube and tighten screw, ensure everything feels smooth on inside of stem hole (use to it finger) it should be uniform and smooth all the way around if you feel a bump or oring pushing readjust and tighten.good luck

Ok this thing absolutely rips with a bigger stem, it's almost frightening. I'm getting desktop type hits off 9 with the sherlock glass piece from Elev8 glass. Flavor is still really good and heat is barely noticeable. This vape continues to impress...
It's mental. I mean I would never ever ever regret my vrod purchase but for someone who wants both desktop and portable but can only afford one, it's the tinymight....everytime.....

Glad you’re enjoying it! I’ve been impressed with my Tinymight for nearly 16 months. EVERY. SINGLE. TIME. :D Powerful, consistent and flexible for varied usage and users. Something for everyone with this great vape. Didn’t take it with me last weekend on a road trip but it’s going with me this weekend on another. Don’t like going too long without it - it’s my favorite portable vape. Still using the stock short stem natively 99% of the time. And recently I’ve removed the nuts & washers from the cooling units and dropped the temp too. Still awesome that way. Simply LOVE it.

My new Molicells arrived yesterday, P26 if I recall correctly. I have a couple of new, uncharged VTC6s I got a few months ago too and will charge all of them up and do some A/B comparisons. Should be fun. :peace:
