The P80 is one of the vapes you would say is close to the TM. The P80 heats faster hotter and draws more power, your bowls per sell will be half of the TM's I think.
For batteries with either the P80 or the TM.....you need minimum a cell that can handle 20amp max discharge rate. You are normally locked with the maH availability on a higher max amp cells......maybe between 2100-3000mah. I use anything over 2800mah if I can get them. Your choices are LGH2's, Murata VTC6, VTC5D, and a few others I forget as I do not use them.
TM sells/stocks a wpa that has a glass screen and will work with 10, 14, or 18mm rigs.

That is one of 2 choices. That one is basically a remake of a RBT stem. You have to make a screen to fit it by bending into shape. If you have a RBT short straight stem like that....use that.
The other one that is much easier to deal with...is the one below it on their site. It has a glass screen with holes in it that you can use without a normal screen if you use whole buds or large chunks. It does not hold much as the glass screen is close to the tip end. You can put the domed screen in it to use with normal ground flower. The draw restriction will be more than the other straight stem with no glass screen section built in....but not bad.
I use both, the one with the glass screen and a SS screen in it for smaller quick draws.....and then the RBT open flow stem types for bigger bowls and more taste. But this stem that you have to bend a screen to shape so it holds the glass wall enough not to move around. It will build up reclaim and be held better as you use it. Some find this one too finiky to make the screen sit well. You have to bend the screens just right to make them fit. I have several postings in this long thread showing the shape I make with them to hold in well.

Screen on the left is what I bend into from the unbent domed ones I get on ebay.
I use a 14mm male end joint to shape the bottom flat section and then push the center in to make a little convex to hold the sholders of the screen much stiffer so they but more pressure on the outside wall to hold on to.
If you just push a stock domed screen in the stems...they will slide around and not stay in place well at all when you touch it with a pic to stir or unload.
If you get the stem that has the glass screen in it.....you will not have to deal with this advanced screen technique!
If you get the wpa and use a CU....I will personally come and take your TM away and replace it with a IQ or Pax........lol

Thanks! looks like I prefer the glass screen, the stock screens won't fit like you say, which sucks.
How much does the glass screen holds? .1g?
Also, then what do you do with the stock screen? a sandwich between it and the cooling unit?
Looks like I only need to find more batteries ...
After experimenting both...i sold the TP80...

I was lucky enough to score probably the last rbt short stem in all of Canada along with a supply of basket screens but still don't have a tinymight to go with it yet
I was just playing with it (not experimenting because of no follow through) and it seems like with a 1/4 inch air gap between the load and the end of the stem, to me it looks like .2 is near the max load size. Do you ever stir your rbt stem? Or is it not necessary? Perhaps it's depending on load size

I’m waiting for my unit to ship in a month or so, ordered yesterday a Tm.
I would like to use my Samsung 18650 that came with evic Tubo, they are pretty new.
Would I damage the unit?
As I will have lots of time before the Tm to be available, I’m also looking at Jack pods, the capsule system that seems compatible with Tm. Are SB capsules compatible as well?

Other "20A" or higher drain cells will probably work. The VTC6, 30Q, and HG2 all preform similar but the VTC6 has a bit more "punch" (check out Mooch's comparison video) which the Tinymight may take advantage of. I think @BestBuds had issues with a 30Q but it could have been the particular cell. I have 3 VTC6's that I cycle but I also have a bunch of Molicel 26A's for over devices that occasionally get used and I have zero issues. I may even argue that they do better at the lower voltages at the cost of 400mA less capacity.
If you find the Tinymight shutting off when the battery isn't fully drained then I wouldn't use the cell but there shouldn't be any danger with trying your 30Q.
Unless cost is an issue for anyone buying new the VTC6 seems like the best overall choice.
Hey everyone. Just wanted to chime in on the WPA's. I currently have a sneaky pete master adapter and the universal WPA from TM.
The master adapter works, but falls off periodically. So I decided to get the TM WPA.
I only have a 14mm waterpiece, so I got the universal WPA. The bowl is a little smaller than I'd like but that's not too bad. However, my avb puck from the TM WPA is not the same. My usual puck was light green outside, completely dark brown inside. The TM WPA avb puck had light green columns on the inside. Probably because the glass screen blocks a good airflow.
So......... if I had to do it all over again, I would've bought the 18mm WPA and an 18mm bong instead. Hope this helps. Stay safe everyone.

Yeah, I considered this option also. My 14mm WP is the small globe from sneaky pete. I thought this setup would be too top heavy with an extra adapter. I also medicate outside in my garage, so the less things to carry in and out of the house, the better Thanks though.

Adapters are rarely the best solution, but I’m sure eventually you will get a “proper” rig. That SP rig is cute and small, but it’s not ideal for heavy devices on top. Check out the “cheap bubbler” thread,decent, cheap, glass rigs from China.

has anyone else experienced a problem with the battery contacts on their tinymight?
I tried to use mine the other day, and it was dead. No response from pressing the button three times, no lights or haptic feedback.
When I plug the charging cable in, the red light starts flashing, it then goes solid red and gives one long vibration, followed by 4 short vibrations, then the light starts flashing again, so it seemed that the electronics are good.
Anyway, i noticed the battery seemed to be rattling around more than i remembered, so I tried an experiment.
I unscrewed the lid from the battery compartment, and using the lid oriented vertically I pushed down on the battery quite firmly and touched the metal top of the tinymight with the edge of the battery lid, completing the circuit. The tinymight sprang to life, with the lights coming on and 1 long vibration followed by 4 short vibrations indicating the battery was fully charged.
The problem is when I screw the lid on, as designed it doesn't work.
Any idea how I could fix this? it is under warranty, but I am in Australia and I'm not too keen on sending it back to Finland if there is something simple I can do.

It sounds like the bottom battery terminal is bent. Did it take a fall?
I had that problem when I first got mine.
Try pulling up the bottom battery terminal with a paperclip. It fixed mine and it's still running strong to this day.
not that I can remember. The battery shouldn't rattle when you shake the tinymight, should it?

No, just use a partially unbent paperclip down the battery slot to "fish up" the battery terminal. Don't pull it too far, though. You just need to pry it up a bit to be back in business.

Thanks man! I'm going to buy VTC6 then, I can get it here, not as cheap as in NA, but still, good enough.
Only few questions are left for me.
1. The glass screen WPA, how much can you pack in a bowl? I might end up getting both WPA, just like @LabPong.
2. What stem are you guys using? I see TM comes with a short stem, but there's also a long stem, anyone is using the longer one? I'm fine with shorts TBH.
