I guess you volunteered :). I would like to see personal feedback as well.

Agreed. A lot of the questions here, including mine, is just based on speculation. Get a few of those puppies into our hands so we can try them out, tear them open, see what's inside, take some pics, clean them, etc etc and then report back here as to our findings. Nicole, I would think that it would be very viable to either give a few out for testing, either just outright or some kind of contest (that would run very short term). Sure, you would be out the dollars on a few units, but could very well make up for that in increased sales. Seems like it would be worthwhile investment, no?

And I voluntarily take myself out of the possible participants. Don't want to sound self-serving here.

Great thread, something to be said about a company with a Customer Service department willing to put the time in to contribute in this way. In the long run I think your time is well-spent and appreciated here, I've found FC to be an incredible resource for myself in the last months; awesome to see product development and (soon-to-be/possible) customer interaction happening here...

Quick question, is there a recommended length of tubing between Vapor-Icer and the vaporizer?

I would think a shorter length would preserve taste and make the best out of the Vapor-Icer in that heat would be significantly higher. On the other hand, I'm trying to picture myself using something like this with my Extreme, a short amount of tubing would probably mean holding both the vaporizer as well as the Vapor-Icer in my hands.

That sounds like a good idea, contests always turn out a lot of people and it's a good way to market I find.

We not only tear 'em apart....we also build 'em back up :D

I am intrigued about the product actually but I can't see much as far as specs go so I don't know if I could hook it up to a PD and I'm still on the fence about my next vape but I do picture cooler vapor in my future :D

Hey again Everyone!

Since the #1 thing that all FC Forum members asked for, was real life pictures of the VaporICER, we got 'em made for you, and here's a pre-launch sneak preview! (Videos coming soon as well! In the meantime check out what Nug Magazine & the band Slighty Stoopid is sayin' bout the VaporICER at www.vaporicer.com/feedback.html). Photographed by VaporNation.com's photographers, here are the photographs of the two VaporICER models:

The VaporICER Black Diamond (Pocket Sized Vapor Cooling Perfection):

The VaporICER Blizzard (2X Colder, 2x Bigger):

Welcome back, Nicole.

Nice pics, but, are the two halves really held together by black electrical tape, 'cause it sure looks that way.

First thing I noticed too, I sure hope not. Maybe it is a product sticker.

Not only the tape but I'm pretty sure the "black diamond" is two small pep boys/autozone plastic funnels and the blizzard is just two larger metal ones taped together I would like to see if their is an igloo lunchbox gel freezer pak inside those two halves.

Hahahaaa! Hey everyone, and thanks for the humorous comments. Yes, we use product stickers with our logo on it as do many other products. And, No, these aren't Pep Boys or Autozone funnels, nor is there an Igloo Lunchbox inside

We actually have the outside custom made for us by certified non-toxic manufacturers, and use a rigid interior cooling system. If you read over the first few pages of this discussion, I believe all of these questions and concerns have already been addressed in great detail...

By the way, if someone has a better Vapor Cooling System, or an idea for it, by all means please do share. We're well aware of the VaporRod which is to be plugged in and stuck into a waterpipe with ice in it, and are fans of it unless we want to use it with a vaporizer rather than a waterpipe, or on the road.

So - to the rigorous, dissecting, ruthless, and obviously very creative FC Community - PLEASE FEEL FREE TO SHARE IDEAS AND SUGGESTIONS FOR IMPROVEMENT! We're here, and we're listening. If you can tell us a better way to make an ice-free, pocket sized, long-lasting, portable vapor cooling system, please do!!! We will more than appreciate your :2c: Also, if any of you know of a place to BUY a better system, please let us know so we can go ahead and do that!

Remember, we are just like you - we're looking for the absolute best way to smooth out our own vapor. This is what we've built so far (no it's not from AutoZone or made by Igloo ) and we're honored by the fact that countless magazines, bands, and distributors are emailing us weekly asking to endorse the VaporICER, publish product reviews and to place orders to stock their global stores.

Thanks again for your insights, and we REALLY look forward to your ideas and suggestions about how to make this product even better.

Thank youuuuu!

Nicole
By now, you all know who I am :peace:

Nicole, I made a suggestion back in post #104, but I'll repeat. The absolute best way to shut our "ruthless, dissecting and rigorous comments" up is by getting a few of these into our hands for evaluations and reviews, much like some of the vape manufacturers have already done here, for that would hold MUCH more weight here than stating that "countless magazines, bands, and distributors are emailing us weekly asking to endorse the VaporICER, publish product reviews and to place orders to stock their global stores.", for that is just marketing hype copy, nothing more, nothing less.

Give us a few to test out. Hold a contest if will. It sure as hell wouldn't cost you that much in product, and the return could be some very valuable personal endorsements from the most respected vaporizer site in the internet (just thought I'd throw a bit of marketing hype out there myself....... ;) )

Now back to that black tape that you are stating is product stickers. Being that it's just product stickers, is it correct to assume that it can just be peeled off without affecting the performance of the product and is just there for decorative marketing purposes?

Well since you asked, I will speak for most on this board and tell you that most vaporist are looking to get away from plastics and metals......I would be more apt to go for something like this vapor cooler in the youtube video linked http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ymqYSwK1UnM

Lol notice how he says coils aren't worth your time in The description?? They're hella restrictive and he must have known someone to get the female whip end. Those 50mm gong joints are hard to come by.

Now back to the vaporicer. You keep stressing that it's portable but most whipbased units aren't.... In the end will it cool it more than a bong with ice in it?? Cuz you can have a ehle with ice ounces for the same price....

Hey Iwien, Not sure where you got the idea that we're trying to "shut you up," I'm actually literally asking you for your advice, and MORE comments.... :) Sure, you can take off the stickers with logos if you want... You can even throw the product into a burning fire and watch it melt if that floats your boat even more ;) Perhaps we'll give you 100 free products at some point, but for now we're a bit too busy sending out paid-for units. Thanks for the idea.

Hey StinkMeaner, Yes, we absolutely LOVE the Illadelph cooling system, it's by far the best in the world from my perspective, and we use it all the time when we go to the various places around Venice Beach and Los Angeles that have it in their "bars." Of course, the Illadelph cooling system is not $25 like the VaporICER, but if you have the money to blow we commend you and endorse that product wholeheartedly!

Hey Minnesnowta, I never said anything about "portability of whip-based units" but aside from whatever you're thinking, you ask a better question about the bong with ICE in it. Obviously that will cool anything you inhale through it very well. The entire POINT of the VaporICER is to do the same thing, without a bong, without ice.

SO, once again - if anyone can show us a Vapor Cooling System that's actually competitive (based on effect, price, and ease of use) we're open to trying it out and can't wait to hear something from, as Iwien said, "the most respected vaporizer site in the internet." Surely you must all know of a far better product than the VaporICER, that actually competes on price, effect, AND ease of use.... right????????? ;)

With good humor and gratitude to our fans and the loyal VaporICER lovers out there,

Nicole

Nicole, I'm not suggesting that you hand out a 100 free products. What I am "suggesting" is that you run a contest of sorts and offer up 2 or 3 units as prizes so that we can evaluate and review. Stating that you're too busy sending paid-for units out is, well, imho, a pretty lame excuse. You're manufacturers cost on these can't be that much that you can't afford to do this, and I would think that your return on a very small investment like that would be worthwhile.

Like I said before, I will take myself out of this equation as I don't want to sound self-serving here, but my above suggestion, I would think, would provide a helluva lot more sales than your sales pitches in this thread.

Stating that you're too busy to send out a few units for evaluation and yet spending the time here posting up like you do, is a bit disingenuous.

I know I may be sounding a bit harsh here, but not doing what I am suggesting that you do, and then stating that the reason is because you are too busy, just doesn't make any sense, for it takes no time at all to do it. Pack up two units and send them out. How much time does that take, versus the possibility of increased sales. Being that you are so confident in your product, not wanting to do this makes no sense.

Iwien,

My personal job is to handle Customer Service - I have nothing to do with sending out free samples or arranging promotional contests. I'll forward your suggestion to the people in our company who can make a decision like the one you are suggesting, however I have indeed heard that that part of our company is overwhelmed with polite requests, and bulk orders.

As far as the "sales pitches" you're referring to: We were ASKED to join this community by its owners, and to take the time to ANSWER your questions. That is all I have done, and have gone above and beyond to answer the same questions, over and over - because that it my JOB.

Thanks for your suggestions and your criticism - it will all help build a better company.

Nicole

PS - You continue to quote my threads out of their context, and I'd appreciate it if you stopped doing that, and included the context around the words you choose to highlight in the future.
