How many people have one of these and do we have videos of their use? Not trying to upset anybody as I'm 0 for 2 in the banning department and hope I can survive a few more posts.

Due to credit card processing issues no current videos are still up as far as I am aware. They will likely be back up again soon... not a lot of units still out there, less then 10 for sure, and likely closer to 5 units.

Oh, and no one cares to hear about how many times you have been banned.... follow the rules, and you won't see anymore. Just sayin. Good luck and welcom back.

Sorry for being MIA over the last couple of weeks, we figured it was best if we were working to get this launched as opposed to spending time surfing the internet....

Anyhow, here is a brief update... we will be getting to launch within the next few days, possibly early next week. As you all know, we have had issues getting accepted by credit card processing companies due to the high risk nature of our product. We have consulted with others in our space and they recommended that we slowly release units and slowly build our revenue which will keep us under the radar of their underwriting departments.

Because of this, we will only be releasing a few units at a time and gradually increase the volume as we build a good track record with our processor. I will be personally emailing you with a link to order, from there, you will have to register and be approved before you can order. We are keeping a tight control over this so that we can be in good standing with our partners.

Because we are trying to stay under their radars, it will take us a few months to get caught up with all the pre-orders but at least we will be shipping them and people will finally get to enjoy our high end vaporizer.

I know that we will be flooded with emails about when your turn to order will. I only ask that you be patient with us during this time as we are in a "wait and see" mode and as soon as we feel comfortable, we can start releasing units in larger volumes. We have to be extremely careful as this processor was pretty much the last one on our list and if we somehow get tagged with the "high risk" label, it could be extremely detrimental to the future of this company... so slow and steady will be the path that we take.

A little bit of bad news - due to the overwhelming costs we incurred during development, we had to forego the fancy packaging that we shown a few pages back. We are not abandoning it but for the foreseeable future, we will be sending Cloud's in plain brown boxes. The good news is, this doesn't affect the performance of the vaporizer and we figured that this audience would be more appreciative for a better performing vape than nicer looking packaging.

time to revisit a classic vxc post... from a year ago:

Beta units starting to come together! looking forward to getting some real world reviews from our beta testers. Waiting on some custom glass for these guys, but almost ready to send out.

I was one of these lucky beta testers, but unfortunately my unit had a sensor issue after a few months and wouldn't get up to heat. This issue was addressed by VXL with their new embedded sensor placement which prevents it from moving.

As you can imagine, it's been torture having a non-working Cloud sitting here for so long. I tried opening it up early on in the hopes of re-seating the sensor, but gave up after getting the outer casing off. Last weekend I tried again, still didn't get inside the inner casing or see the sensor, but after putting it back together it worked!! Not perfectly, but enough to make some sweet vapor. Not the greatest pics I'm sorry, I was a little caught up in the super-clean flavor.

Take heart and keep pushing sm55 and VXC crew It's wonderful to see you so close to this and yes, I'm sure that many and more among the FC ranks agree that the wait and all of the hard work of the VXC team will be well worth it in the end. Bonne chance!

FWIW, I'd be willing to pay with a cashier's check or wire transfer (or even meet up and pay with cash) to get mine.

While this is an obvious ploy to jump the line : (I've only been waiting half as long as some of you), but maybe if the production of the units outpaces their ability to process credit cards...then maybe these "extra" units can be sold as cash only, giving SM two different sales channels. SM would not have to incur the cc processing fee (save 3%) and could build up sales of CC processed sales slowly.

I don't know if others would be willing to pay without a credit card...but to me it seems like a way for FC community to help the vape exhale team overcome this latest obstacle.

I've dealt with cc processors a bit (and hate them with a white hot passion) and I don't think that additional cash sales would have any kind of negative impact on what they are approving.

OK, I'll go back to lurking and waiting again. I've gotten to try it at a local potshop and was literally speechless. So whenever I get my email notification, I'll be a happy camper.

I think it's a great idea to initially accept alternative payment forms, but only if the production is outpacing CC sales capacity. Might be worth a thought, SM. It would improve cashflow, decrease merchant discount fees and move product. I'd be willing to mail a cashier's check if SM is willing to take it.
