I dunno... We have heard it tastes anywhere from great to some shit a robot would fart out.
I guess the sky is the limit for what people decide this tastes like.
It's pretty tasty, I would claim it to be far better than the robot poop tasting vapes, which do eventually taste better over time.
I was a bit harsh with my dialogue but I don't think I've had any bad vapes, only one that had an awful taste (Herbstick Deluxe).
I should have wrote..
Out of all my convection based units the grassHopper isn't the winner or best in flavor (nor is it the worse). It does trump the chinese conduction units but supplies a lot more heated air than other convection units. That results in me noticing more heat than flavor.
Flavor wise here are some comparisons there are also other variables that change placement, but overall I'd say this is how I feel about the units and their flavor.
Herbstick Deluxe < Imag+ < Lithe <= Nimbin < Flowermate < Boss < XMAX II < T-Vape <= Pax < Genie < MFLB < Versa <= grassHopper < EQ/VTower < Solo <= UD/Firewood <= HerbalAire <= LSV <= Hammer <= Volcano
I remember a while back grokit said his Hammer didn't taste as good as his Versa, I'm not sure on his temps, but I know we had different Versa's and my 90 volts was more equivalent to their 65 volts. Whenever I went past 65 volts I would notice a heated flavor, when at 90 volts, it was primarily that heated flavor I was noticing over the herbs but the unit milked amazingly without boost (which is not a feature in my Versa). I won't say the Versa didn't have great flavor because in the 65v and under range it is pure and amazing, I just preferred the effects of the higher temp. The grassHopper behaves in the same way, its phenomenal at the lower temps but a heated flavor arises when it goes too far.
The equalto or greater thans are hard, there are different uses that cause better flavor also different materials, I wouldn't give the placements too much thought as the top units alter depending on the stem/usage style.
