Any chance this thing can also be used with actual ecig carts?

How AWESOME would that be if I could carry only one unit for both weed and tobacco!

Excellent, thanks for the timely response. I guess you're saying it's unregulated? The eGo and some of its clones use PWM (I erroneously attributed the FET switch with the PWM-magic in my original comment) and deliver constant ~3.1V under load, whereas an unregulated version will give ~3.7V under load but drop over use until it cuts off at about 3.25V (just like using a standard 3.7V Li ion battery). I think the only way you'd get constant 3.7V is if it used a boost circuit and I haven't heard of an eGo style battery with such wizardry (if it exists I need one yesterday).

Unregulated is actually preferable 'cause it gives more oomph although consistent performance via PWM is pretty nice too.

Re: drip tips, something like the non-drip whistle tip from Super-T would probably minimize any accidents and look excellent on the Omicron. I'm a little wary of metal tips though, I like my teeth. I'm a big fan of Cherry Vape's Dream Tips in spite of my reservations regarding acrylic tips. I've seen borosilicate tips around too, even worked pieces.

Standard delrin drip tips can be sourced pretty cheaply from China... a quick glance at alibaba shows at least one supplier selling DTs for $0.20/ea with an MOQ of 500 tips (they'll do a 10 pack sample but I doubt that meets your needs!). Delrin is probably the best option in my opinion.

greenbean, you ever see one of these before ?, and if you could get one of these to work on the Omicron the potential could prove outstanding: Booster

The only thing I can think of for the booster not working is the fact that these cartomizers may have only been made to withstand the 3.7V that the stock battery uses.

Maybe a little suggestion for the V3 THCScientific (not sure if this would actually do anything) but you should consider selling a higher OHM version that would be compatible with a 6V system. I feel like with the 6V system would be able to deliver a lot more vapor than the current cart with a 3.7V battery.

Also I thought of an idea for using this device in cold weather. How about connecting whip tubing to the mouth piece and keeping the device in a warm pocket?

Any word on the resistance (ohm) of this cart yet?

suppose that for some strange reason the cartridge you are using dies, and imagine its still approx 1/2 full - is it possible to reclaim the leftovers by heating the cartridge up and turning it upside down in order to pour the oil into a dish? will you be able to get it all out, how much will be left in the cart if you are forced to toss it in the garbage?

You can flip it upside down and reclaim, we guessing loss of 10-20%

could you do an iso reclaim on a dead cartomizer?

    You should offer bulk cartridges.
I might be interested in a 50 or 100 pack at a discounted rate.

Maybe after I get a chance to try my boss's, get my own, and see how much ill be using it ;)
I showed it to him and he flipped and bought one immediately (like the same hour).
It is just something that might ease my mind about the $10 carts. Although as its atomizer needs to be replaced every time I somewhat understand.

Its just not something I feel I could use as a replacement for a good torch oil rig for those of us who go through a half gram or so of oil a day.

But I might very well be wrong, Ill have to see when he brings it in to the office.
Should be a lot of oil heads very interested in it.

Also Some people may be a bit wary of defective carts with the "No returns or exchanges and all sales are final once product is shipped." on the extra cartridges page. Not sure about your policy on factory defects here.

Once you fill it with oil, you can not ship it to me to figure out if it is a factory defect. If you can drive it to me, i will take a look and replace it if it is defective, But there is still a chance you might lose 20% of your oil, but there is no way i will accept a cartridge with thc oil in it over the mail system.

I understand that it can not be shipped once it has oil in it, I dont want to ship it too you either :p

I am just saying that it may make people a bit weary.
I suppose that there isnt a great solution to this due to the nature of the medicine and the powers that be but I remember that my e-cigarette wasn't the most reliable thing and the company was willing to replace defective parts.

Then again I'm replacing half the device every gram.
Would the batteries be ok to ship if they die under warranty?

Also the driving it too you is an interesting prospect, where are you?
Even if Its not really plausible and I'm not going to drive very far for $10 (perhaps if I saved the dead ones over time? although it sounds like these things have a low rate of failure from what you say) its nice of you to offer :)

I'm in SF and can fix problems/issues as well.

I have started opening carts and checking to see if I get a dud by giving it a quick dry hit to see if I get the "heater taste". Also be sure to feel the bottom of the cart. If it warms up and is full of oil it just needs to prime longer.

Battery would be ok to ship, anything else that contains thc or anything else that is illegal to ship can not be shipped. The only way we will exchange it if we see no wear and tear on the inside its brand new and it does not light up. That is why you should check all the cartridges. Before filling them put it on the battery and look straight down the middle small tube it you see a orange glow then it is working.

OK Guys I need help..... having problems with the omicron still. big problems....

so I filled up cart 1 with some hash oil and it was getting clogged etc. It leaked a lot out of the tip (not from the filling holes, the cap was on). Its coming out of the breather hole. I might have got 70-80 hits off the first cart since most of it leaked out. When I removed the cart even the battery on the bottom is covered in hash oil. spent some time cleaning that battery up but have not checked yet. Chalked it up to learning curve.

So I get a fresh g of oil and load up cartridge #2. Fill process went smoothly. carttridge primed and hit with in a pull or two. great. set it down for the night. got up in the morning took a few pulls. ok all is well no leaks no problems.

go use it this afternoon and its minorly clogged. a press of the button and gentle draw and I clear that. it starts hitting again. I take 4-5 good pulls off it and set it down and come back in 5 minutes and its clogged solid with oil coming out the air tube again. take the cart off and the hole in the battery is filled with oil and there is more mess there. Again this is all standing on the battery. never ever laid down. always with white cap on.

I really need some help. I want to love this thing but I can't if it keeps spewing hash oil everywhere.
