CERA, the wait & gibberish thread

Tell me about it...everything was confirmed before TET shipped, so I can't see what the issue is. My mail lady delivers enough packages to me to know where I live...

Edit: Didn't show up it is sitting at the local sorting depot and they won't allow me to go pick it up. It has been there for a day or two apparently.

I talked to TET on the phone just now. The ceramic pieces are expected to arrive anytime between Friday and Monday.

As of now, every completed cera in the building has been shipped. so we wont have anymore outgoing ceras until next week.

Just checked in w TET on estimated ship date. My order was placed early December and I was told the week of feb 11 is looking like target ship week. We are getting there! Hope the info is a help to those curious. Very excited.

It's looking like (based on my total non-expertise) the December orders are probably getting pushed back at least a week (From the original projection of all being shipped by Mon Feb. 4th), since we don't even know if they completed all the November orders yet?
EDIT: As oksi points out they're now projecting 'the week of Feb. 11th'....so more like 1.5+ weeks....bleh

So much for getting my Cera by my birthday. I think what sums up my general feelings on this right about now is: Laaaaaame!

I still want info on LL we have heard basically nothing.

Tweek just don't go "postal"...I feel for you...hit that mail person when they come to deliver hopefully tomorrow.

I wouldn't expect if you ordered in Dec that you would get it in Feb. I think March at the earliest. Remember a lot of the ceramic is coming in and getting rejected. It will take a long time till the machine people get it right so only a few are rejected. At least they are keeping QC at a max.

I sure hope you're wrong Dreamerr, they certainly led us all to believe it would be sooner than that, but then again it's deja vu at this point because it's happened so many times.
I'm starting to wonder if i should cancel before my credit card reaches 60 days from purchase date....i want this product, i like this company, but why do they keep making shipping promises they cannot possibly keep? It just keeps setting us up to be disappointed, i don't understand why they're choosing to go about it in this manner.

Apparently Cera is waiting for me at the post office and I can go pick it up at my earliest convenience

It's like we're going in circles. Shipping promises or shipping estimates? Not a single person knows how many pieces that come out of the oven will be usable. People keep asking for a shipping date and TV says February since they know they will get a bunch of pieces but don't know what dates or how many. Then people want a rough date since they are not satisfied with the answer February so they get one and that date comes and goes (because TV doesn't know) and then it is time to go in another circle by asking for another date.

i think its gonna take all of next week for TET to fulfill the remaining November orders. they said they have made it to nov 19 on the order list. if they get rolling by monday they should be able to complete November's orders by friday. remember they are assembling cores, momentary switches, and other parts exclusively this week. so when they get the ceramic parts assembly should be quicker than in weeks past.

But you don't know how many will come in and how many will get rejected. You also have no idea exactly how many pre-orders there were to begin with. So really neither us or TET really know so asking is fruitless.

2ndsite I think it depends on how much you trust that you will eventually get the cera. If you think TET is reputable, which they IMO have proven they are, it doesn't matter about the 60 days. You may be waiting a while but you will get it. If you are scared then cancel and get it when all the smoke clears

Sorry PB i misspoke in my previous thread. yes 'estimates' not promises, i think i just chose a different word cause it fit better, but yes, none of their predictions were promises at all, you are correct. merely inaccurate 'estimates'.

New information has come to light, so here's the latest information/estimation (note: none of this is official, just speculatin')

• -For pre-orders, i'm estimating somewhere around 200 total SS orders (certainly not accurate, but a starting point). [plus around 100 titanium but not enough parts to ship those yet]
• -Approximately 40 units have been shipped thus far. (according to TET)
• -No more units will ship this week until bulk ceramics arrive (estimated fri-mon sometime).
• -At a pace of 15 units shipped per day, with an estimated ~160 remaining units, this would be about 11 business days until ALL units are shipped. Since we know none will ship until monday at the earliest, this would mean by Feb. 18th (in theory, at the earliest) all pre-order units would be shipped out.
• To apply this to my own order:
• -Approximately 75 orders are in line before my early december pre-order (according to TET)
• --At a pace of 15 units shipped per day, with an estimated ~75 remaining units in line before mine, assuming they resume shipping this monday, this would be about 5 business days of shipping before mine is shipped---in theory mine will ship on Feb. 11th at the very earliest.

EDIT: As others have pointed out we don't know how many ceramics will be rejected for QC, but since theyre getting a large shipment i assume that includes enough stock to handle those rejects and still ship out the remaining units, but i certainly could be wrong since that wasn't the case previously with the ceramic!
Hope this info helps people make a more educated guess as to their REAL shipping date, since most of the official updates do not seem to be very realistic or take all the variables into account, ya know, little insignificant factors like having all of the parts in stock (based on results thus far, this is 100% true).

EDIT: yeah Dreamerr i agree, my confidence in the company is pretty high, i think i'm just miffed about more inaccurate estimates, naturally makes me want to withdraw my support. but as i said, i'm thoroughly sold on the product, so waiting it out is probably best. good insight.

I think you are wrong about shipping on Monday. If the parts are coming in over the weekend maybe they still have to put them together but first check them. I doubt any will go out Monday. I don't know how you all do pre-orders as I have said many times. It is way to stressful and in some cases you just lose your money like with the mivape. When I asked those people mostly said they would do it again. I don't get it and I guess I never will.

Edit: I am so happy for you blunt and I expect a lot of reports especially if you have the LL. We helped you through your psycho times now you owe us.

You need to do what I did a couple years back Tweek, although I'm in the country, I stormed in PO and laid into them so damn hard I think they wet themselves.... and NOW, they phone my cellphone 'every time' there is a package for me (sig required or not, fit in the box or not), with a what would you like us to do SIR ? hehe

Ya just found out there's no ceramic bodies in and there waiting for them to come on Monday, then they have to prep them and put them together and maybe Wednesday or Friday is when the next orders will goout I guess there waiting for parts and I was told I. On that next order, man frustrating is right nov 19 and on the next order waiting for parts, oh well if its the weight in gold I guess it will be worth it hey, just want to medicate effectively with something I can take with me.
Stress agrivates my pain severely which I can help but at least there's next week. Well more like 2 weeks customs and all gpen sent me a battery it took 3 weeks and it ain't even a pre order. Lol

It will be worth the wait in the end. It always is.
