When you choose to be one of the first ones on the block with a brand new vaporizer and by a company that just starts up, there is a risk. Most of the time you are going to see faulty units. I still have the Ascent in my memory. What about the Solo in the beginning? They both had a lot of problems starting out.

I'm with @Ratchett, I like to wait until the vaporizer gets all the bugs worked out. With this one it might be a year. Plus I want to order and get my unit right away, like within a week or so. I'm not much of a waiter. I will even pay extra for 3 day shipping when I buy vaporizers.

I was thinking by summer they might be caught up but I don't know at this point. Maybe fall?

you should start like that. not saying that you got a shipment and not mentioning a date when you ordered. cause everybody what to know where that pre-order line is at.

he he. :) this is dee first thing i'm gonna do when HopperLabs start to sale extra mouthpieces. :evil: removing that plastic thing before doing so.

of course you can do what you like. but saying that you got postage and not saying when did you order your hopper is like saying nothing at all in this thread. because people care about where dee line is for their order. no one cares that you got your product. believe me. people are ego oriented. all of them. even more so if they don't know you in person.

Er . . . with the greatest of respect I would beg to differ. IMO, there is a great deal of care in this particular community. Far more than I have ever experienced elsewhere in fact - and for that reason I can forgive you for making such an assumption.

Anyway, lets get back on track with the joys of the Hopper shipping thread now shall we? . . .

So folks, I can confirm that as of precisely now, I have not yet recieved my 4:20pm-December-24th-2014-festive-socks-&-Spider-Man-pants-blue-Ti-GrassHopper! :D

But it is on it's way (for those that care).

It's true that people are interested in the ordering date in order to get an idea of where they are in line, but it's not for you to tell them that they have to post this information. There's no rule that says they must, but there is a rule that says you have to be nice to other members. Whether you intend it or not, your posts are giving people the impression that you're patronizing them.

Perhaps you need to work on your phrasing. You might not have meant it but yes, we have some reports that you aren't being nice. This could just be an issue with English as a second language.

Edit: To be patronizing is to talk down to someone and tell them what they should be doing.

Should I be concerned that I don't receive the email updates? I am registered for the newsletter and I got my pre-order email no problem. I've checked my spam folder. Does anyone else on this thread not get the update emails?
