i saw this vape and wondered how good does it hit. Now let me tell you what I have already
I have the mflb and the volcano vape. I'm thinking about selling both of these and getting this vape as its portable and I can use it for parties much much easier than busting out my volcano.
What do you guys think its weakness is? I mean, the only one I could probably see is that it's not as stealthy as the mflb but a trade off is you don't have to hold batteries in all day or keep a bunch on stock.
Could someone post a hit from this vape? I'm interested in seeing this before I start rounding up my products to sell.
Also, does it get hot when you are hitting it for a while? If so, how hot? uncomfortable but bearable or unbearable completely?

The numbers posted are the factory specified numbers. I have not yet independently tested them and updated yet. Its nice to see a manufacturer be conservative in their ratings.
There will be a lot more in the wiki article within the next week once I find some more free time.

omgomghax I will answer since I need to post an update. There is no way it is stealthy as the LB because you will get bigger clouds therefore cause it to be seen and smelled. I have done burns at max even though I don't smoke at max and never had an issue picking it up on the body. It is cool to the touch with a very small warm feeling that is coming from where the black ridges go around. I have never held it there but would assume that would be uncomfortable but that would block your air holes so no reason to hold it there.
Ok my smell report. I think this will be great news for most but for someone like me it may take the way I need a portable out of the question. I need a vape with little to no smell because when I am in public I need to medicate and if big clouds and smell are there it isn't stealth.
So as promised I vaped using the Inhalater about ten feet from subject and he could smell it easily. I then vaped near the subject and the smell lingered a while but nowhere as long as smoking which can last all day in my room. The vape smell lingered a few minutes which if you are in a car will not be good. If you are out in a closed area not good. If you are on the street someone walking near you or who walks into that cloud will smell it.
Next I tried to DV to compare as I already used the LB in peoples faces and no reported smell. The DV preformed very well. From the same distance blowing it in the direction of the subject nothing. Vaping near the subject nothing. Subject walking into vape slight and dissipated almost immediately.
If this is a factor in your smoking expierence then you now have the details. The inhalator will become my primary for home and OF will be happy to hear I haven't smoked my pipe since I got it. It is just as much a hard hitter to me but we know we are all different. To me the vape almost looks like smoke at 4.5 and especially at 5.5 when I start.
Last night I started to play around with lower temps after my experiment to see if I can get it a bit more stealthy and still get medicated. I dropped to I believe 2 and still got visible vape that smelled but the chamber could have been to hot. I will report when I am done playing. If it isn't important to you then ignore it. I will include it with my eventual outdoor report. I still haven't left the house. I may find more things that make it not portable for me but we will see.
The stickers on the top grooves fall off so if you can't decide if you want them or have decided to keep them glue them down. It is the nature of the are where I live. Glue, duct tape and other things like that don't work well at all. So a bit of a sticky sticker is definitely not going to stick.
My throat still gets sore in the back which I believe is unique to the inhalater but goes away fast. I will be testing that as well by changing vapes and maybe combusting to see the difference in that feeling to see if it is unique to that vape for me.
@vaporjunkie-I finished cutting the screen and I don't know how you got it tight but I made it just shy of tight so it falls to the bottom of the capsule ugh. I am sure you aren't surprised. I used it once and then left it in the capsule to use for next time and forgot it was there and ended up as a double screen on the pull side lol. In case any of you are interested it still had no pull issues with two screens. I don't think this will work for me but it was a good try I suppose. Maybe I can just drop it to the bottom of the chamber and that will have the same effect. What do you think?

Yes, why? If you mean why I need to be so stealth is cause they bust you anyhow and the law says you can only smoke/vape on pvt property so basically at home but I need it most when not at home which is why I am home all the time...99% of the time actually.

If I'm hurting, I just go to the bathroom, there's always ventilation in a bathroom. If your outside, just duck out and find some secluded spot. There's no need to push your luck imo... and it ruins the sesh if you feel you aren't safe...

If you are in a medical state get a omicron or thermovape and try hash oil, ear wax, budder, etc as an alternative to herb. you can medicate very quickly and very discretely with even less odor. An Omicron or Thermovape Dart loaded with Pure Gold smells only of lemons. Its not even detectable as weed.
There are also edibles are a totally discrete way to medicate. There are even fast acting alcohol tinctures that take effect in as little 5 minutes.
The omicron changed my world. The reason I asked about medical state is because that makes getting the hash oil to put in the pen vape readily available. You can get 200+ doses out of 1G of hash oil on 1 charge in a omicron. Its the ultimate personal medicating device. There is also the Thermovape Dart. I even have bubble gum flavored oil that tastes and smells like bubble gum. Totally stealth....
So there are my out of the box ideas: Vape Pen, Edibles, Tinctures are all very stealth.

Not to derail but I was using pills cause I knew how long it took to they took effect but pill guy got busted. We have no dispensaries yet, maybe Sept. if the stupid people in this state don't succeed in stopping it cause on the news tonight they are trying yet again. For now we are all on our own. So more poor attempts at making tincture which I would love cause it is fast failed. I also tried to make pills, failed. I know I will forget what you said but if they open I will hit you up on PM for info on what to do. I really hope it is Sept. Besides with no smell you can travel to non med states better. TY for that answer. If you have info I need PM me.

Day 4 with the INH004. Haven't touched the Omicron, Persei, or even the Solo since I got it. It continues to impress except for battery life which I need to measure. It seemed I only got 4 bowls at max before it died last night.
I really love the less restrictive draw compared to the Solo.
One tip: This thing being partially convection produces some pretty hot vapor. I took about foot of whip tubing from my EQ 4.0 stash and used it to monitor vapor production initially but it really cools off the vapor and presents a much smooth hit. I know lots of folks used these trainer tubes with Omicrons and they work great with the INH004. Thats my new WPA too. The tubing seals nicely into my 14mm downstem bubbler.

I think that is why I like to use the extensions they gave us. I was more mindful of the throat issue last night and I think it doesn't really get bad till the capsule is spent which is way before the 8 minutes are done at least for my throat. I checked to make sure it was the INH by using the DV otherwise I wouldn't have touched anything else since I got it either. I haven't combusted which is strange but then again my spasms haven't been bad. I bet the INH would work just as fast on the spasms combusting but we will see.
I am going out today so will be using it in the car before I go into my appt. I don't really know about the battery life since I have never gone past two capsules without recharging. It did say I think in the book or maybe on the net that you really shouldn't let it go below 80% to have a long battery life meaning months/years. That is not reasonable but just wanted to mention it. I will check the life today and won't charge when I get home til I do at least 4 capsules on it.
I can actually medicate on 3.5 in public I think. I tried it last night at home and it seemed to work but time will tell. 3.5 gives the more wispy vapors that don't overly smell and aren't overly noticeable since they dissipate fast.
I am not really sure why people aren't buying this thing. The easy draw, huge clouds that most here want, no taste other then product, user(except for more then likely me) changeable battery, doesn't get hardly warm where you hold it, can pocket immediately and I am sure there are more pluses. I don't see any downside cept for the stuff that bothers me which is not an issue for anyone I have seen on here.
Frothi I don't even want to know how this thing feels on max. I suppose you can do that cause you go through your bubbler. I don't use a bubbler cause of lying down and I suppose I wouldn't anyhow.
I went back in the tread to find the temp guide so you won't all have to do the same. I don't think they are right somehow because of the numbers I am using it out should produce almost nothing and that isn't the case. I compare to DV only because it is digital temp and if correct I can't go lower then 365 and get vape. On the INH I have basically stuck with 4.5 for big cloud hits and now 3.5 for more wispy light vape hits. Here is the guide again.

Mine showed up today, thank you Taylor. It came fully charged. First thing I did was remove the stickers. I like the all black look much better. The top was easy to remove and the temp sticker was fine along with the stiffness and calibration of the knob. It's a bit bigger than I imagined, and I thought the capsules would be of stiffer material but these are not drawbacks or complaints, just observations. It was nicely packed and came with a good assortment of extras. All in all I'm very please so far. Will write more once I've had a chance to try it out.

I bought a few extras to be safe. Unit comes with 2 capsules. They are flimsy but 20 bowls in it still looks brand new. With care they should last a while.

Thanks again, sounds like they should last a while. Just need to buy some screens and cut to the right size so the herbs don't fall into the INH heater bowl. Too bad they don't have custom sized screens available. Is the opening the same size as a Solo stem, or i'm assuming slightly smaller? PV has some great solo screens that have a course mesh that should do the trick, even if I have to trim them a little.

If you don't mind me asking, what made the decision for you? Was it the ease of draw?
Also, it sounds like the Inh really needs a screen on the bottom to prevent herb getting into the actual unit, but it's not a standard pipe-screen size?
The solo screens from planetvape fit in it with minimal trimming, but yes its not exactly a standard size. I think what it comes down to for most people is whether they like the monolithic design of the pax or the cigar style of the inhalater, and maybe on a lesser scale the fact one is convection and one is conduction.
I've been thinking about getting a pax but I'm worried about what I'm hearing with the mouthpieces sticking or breaking. They really do look beautiful though

Joekickass, it's many things, alot were already discussed in this thread. But yeah it's the airflow, the capsules (preloads), adjustable temp, USB charging, cost, usage while charging, etc. I admit the Pax is more discrete/portable, but i'm put off by all of the early adopters making warranty claims, etc. I also am not thrilled with it's hard draw (cigar style inhales) and hot mouthpieces, and sticky temp button. Nothing against the Pax as I know it has a cult following, but I just prefer the INH based on what brothers hear have been stating. Taylor has a great deal on with the discount, and all the reviews have been positive minus a few little glitches here and there. Another huge factor for me personally is the cleaning, and seems like the Pax is a constant chore (i'm OCD with cleanliness), and the INH is quite efforless to clean. It just seems more my style, and i'm coming from using a Solo as a portable. I may change my mind in the future with a Pax v.2 since it seems they are on to a good thing, but for now I think the INH is just more suitable. If I don't like it for whatever reason I don't think it will be hard to sell in the classifieds anyway, and then maybe i'll get a MiVape when it's released!
CentiZen, I don't think (based on what i've read here) that the INH is convection, it appears to be more conduction no? I know it's convection/conduction, but more conduction? You have one so you would know, but that's just based on SLiM's commentary.
I really hope SLiM will review the INH on his blog. He is the man!
