Boundless CF / CFX / CF-Hybrid

Being that I tend to prefer on-demand vapes over session vapes, I haven't used my CFX much, and mainly bought it to use in group settings when I had friends over.

Well, I finally used it with a group of 4 people last night, and DAMN this thing hits hard! Holy shit I had no idea that it just produces endless, massive clouds with no technique required. It was absolutely perfect for the situation and everyone loved it. And of course, the most perfectly even ABV I've seen from a vaporizer.

Super impressed.

I love this vaporizer. i get exactly two sessions on 370 or 375 and its perfect. no qualms. best portable i have ever used. most even extraction. deadly hits. easy for non vapers, and fast heat up and charge. the versatility is amazing, i love being able to put .05 or .5 in it and it vapes perfectly evenly regardless with satisfying hits. cheers fc, CFX is next level. Can't wait for the water tool.

I love my CFX too. It isn't as tasty as the Crafty or Grasshopper but if you're looking for a long session or group vaporizer I don't think it can be beaten. Like @Gandalf said, "endless, massive clouds with no technique required."

Would i be right in thinking the CF is about the same size as the FM Pro? And would it be worth upgrading from the Pro?

Anyone know what international shipping is like on these? Really thinking about one, would like to compare it more to that Chinese puri5 thing if anyone has both?
Direct from boundless with the code still the best place?

I think piu might have the best price, there's a few codes out there for puff it up to knock 15% off bringing it to $152. I used the code c420 for the discount and a free vape case (which is nice but It's still sitting in the shipping box)

I just purchased the CFX and from what I can tell, PIU is the best place to get it. You can use their discount code to get 15% off.

I have only used my friend's CF so I kinda know what to expect. I used the cap of an ELB and replaced the default screen which improved airflow. I didn't really like sticking the ELB into the chamber and found it better off without it. I used my Crafty's mouthpiece and it was a perfect fit. This mouth piece is way better than the CF's mouth piece, however it won't look as nice since the default mouth piece matches it more.

I also prefer the CFX without the ELB and just with an elb cap replacing the default screen. Seems to extract much more quickly and I didn't really notice a change in flavor.

I agree that the airflow is much improved with the ELB cap. If quicker extraction equates to toasting a load faster, then I agree on that point too.

IMO, the vapor is also more consistent with the ELB cap. It seems that I get more vapor early in the cycle now.

I am looking for a Portable that will allow me to medicate quickly!

One of my sons is getting married the end of June.

While I love my Solo, Air, EQ, and Ascents they are session vapes.

Would the CFX allow me to medicate quickly? I can't just leave to spend 10-15 minutes medicating in the middle of my son's wedding.

You'll be able to medicate very quickly. Smell is a concern of course but pop up to 430 in 10-20 seconds and with screen mod for better airflow (EQ cap) you can easily finish a bowl in 45 seconds and be lung bustingly high

Grab the CF instead , it is smaller and more pocketable, plus less people will notice as it doesn't have a super bright lcd screen. They operate the same , same heater and put out the same amount of vapor. They also both are ready to vape in about 15-20 seconds.

except the CFX has 15 degrees on the CF.that makes them not the same i believe...

hm...based on reading many posts here id say alot of people go to 430 and beyond..
Not really man I suggest you do a bit more reading , the forum is called fuckcombustion for a reason , at 446F you are on he verge of combustion - Here is a quick read for you - " Let’s break the issue down: the reason for using a vaporizer is to reduce the health hazards that come with smoking. These hazards are produced by the combustion process – that is, the burning of your weed, which happens at 446°F. Once burning takes place, chemicals such as benzene, toluene and naphthalene are released, all of which are extremely injurious to health. It makes sense then that the last thing you want to do is set the temperature on your vaporizer so high that the cannabis actually burns. Recent scientific studies have shown that these toxins are released before the burning process starts, at a temperature of 392°F. So, you need to keep your vaporizer below the 390°F mark. " Now me personally I go a bit beyond the 400F mark sometimes myself but I never take it high enough to combust , hence the reason most vapes don't even go beyond a temp of 430f .

i can name probably close to 10 or more that can go beyond 430...i am well aware of everything you said.:peace:
I dont need the names , i am no newb in the vape world , yes there are vapes that can go beyond that so you are correct and like I said many people don't go that high as it is scientifically proven to be a point of combustion , if you choose to do so than that is your choice but I wanted to throw it out there as it is a health hazard and primarily part of why this forum was created and given the name fuckcombustion. I will not argue the point anymore but I am glad I can inform a few people with hopefully is correct info.

I do not go that high because it has been shown that vaporization at extremely high temperatures have certain health risks similar to combustion, only without formation of tar.
At temperatures as low as at 400º F (and of course higher) some undesirable compounds such as benzene and dioxins are released. True... the full release of these compounds occurs at 420º F, however they begin being released at a point after 400º.
