I have ordered from 420EDC several times and have never had an issue. If you are concerned go to the website and chat, oe go to the Discord page. 420EDC is a very good company and I am sure it is a USPS issue and they will take care of you
Interesting, I ordered from the XVape website, for the sale. Credit card went through, but have yet to even receive an email confirmation of the order. Most sites have a robot send a confirmation of the order, immediately.
I have nothing but raves for this company. I ordered it Saturday and received it today. (NJ) I’ve been on the ALP for the past few months with dynavap sprinkled in and after opening this box, it really is beautifully designed and packaged. Solid in hand and nice initial hits in on demand mode. Too soon to really evaluate. It doesn’t seem at first look that it will get very dirty, why do you prefer the pods? For the ALP it will help the cleanup.

I have no idea if they take proper care of customers or just want our money.
He is s great seller, will bend over backwards to see you right...once the delivery window has passed.
y'all check your spams.
Thanks for the heads-up!
why do you prefer the pods
The pods in a metal bowl seem to just vape faster and more evenly with the added conduction.
what's everyone's preference and the most used bowel
It depends if I am after a quick sesh(metal) or a drawn-out flavour chase(glass). Not a great difference, but enough to own both types IMO.
Here is a 1x puff on the all-glass(apart from the filter),
I can get the ABV pretty dark on session mode even with the glass oven, On-Demand is too hectic for me. The following ABV was in session mode at max temp with glass,

Also, I never stir a load in the Roffu, I don't want any fine ABV making its way into the heater area.

That's perfectly extracted in my book

I love how they give us the option to customize our experience they really are on a something. I really really hope this one works out for me after my V3 being a failure. I'm really hoping that the dosing capsules I got The P3 pro ones and the POV one capsules (screwed up couldn't cancel the order) I'm hoping they add enough conduction and intake resistance to fix my V3? Hopefully they add some kind of benefit to make it a little better

But I really can't wait to get this ROFFU

Received the (5) Pack of PODS from 420EDC. Marked as advertised as V3Pro & Rofffu.
When I originally ordered my 1st Roffu “mini kit” from them it came with two pods.
Comparing them, exact same SS material and size, BUT all 5 of the new ones, have visibly LARGER holes, in both top and bottom!
IMO, that’s a GOOD thing, more airflow, just wondering if this improvement was mentioned anywhere by the XVape company?

On a few of the pods, the caps didn’t stay on with their pressure fit, squeezed the pod body slightly, seems ok now. The SS is pretty solid so the pod bodies don’t deform, like they could on the thin aluminum Mighty pods.

*Checked my email spam folders, NOTHING sent after I placed my order two days ago for a 2nd Roffu, on the XVape site…. :(

I only have my OG V3Pro pods, I did not hear about the hole size change. Will have to be careful of scoobie snacks when used with the glass directly above the oven with the larger openings. I have heard some people use a mesh screen inside the pods for more filtering and conduction.

No kidding might actually have to leave the mouthpiece screen in since a lot of people take them out when using pods

I always leave my DDave DV Ti mesh in the CU as it never clogs except for when I forget to blow it out, even then it can be made spotless by simply puffing a couple of warm puffs through it and then blowing it out.
The DDave mesh does not seem to affect airflow to a detectable level used this way.

I'm thinking the screens I have for my DynaVap might fit? I believe they're 3/8 I got about 200 of those things. 🤔

I hadn't thought about it, but I hadn't gotten any emails. I checked, and it was in spam.

I'm glad I got the WPA. It makes a nice mouthpiece, and I don't much care for the one it comes with. Not a big deal, and the WPA was cheap enough to pick up a few more.

I just used the newer pod “larger holes”, same herb, BCG “medium plate” grind, light finger tamp, 1.0 spoon.
End of session, dumped pod in white ceramic bowl, tapped the pod, COULD NOT notice any fines, also checked tube load filter/disc, seemed clean.
But yes, using the direct GLASS MP configuration, I’m just relying on the silicone WIRE MESH SCREEN, which I suppose could be doubled up with the included spare wire screen. I’ll just judge by coughing, if any unseen “fines” are getting through. So far I think the slightly larger holes are worth what so far I precede to be an increase in airflow.

My Roffu finally showed up today (14 days after I ordered it even though it was shipped out less than 24 hours after I ordered it, so it was probably something to do with the post office and the fact that EDC, the place I ordered from, and I are on opposite coasts of the US.)

I took all the pieces off of it, and did the entire suggested cleaning procedures. I've done 3 max temp burn offs at 6 min each.

The only thing that had an odd smell when I first took it out of the box was the WPA. Everything else had either no smell or a slight "New electronic device" kind of slight smell. After the burn offs, now the inside of the cooling unit smells like a mix of robot farts and burnt rubber.

I'll try doing a few more burn offs, but I wondering if the burn offs are going to get rid off that smell or not. Did anyone else have the same experience and can tell me if and how many more burn offs will get rid of the smell.

First impressions without having run any material through it, is that it is quite a bit smaller than I was expecting, which I am very happy about, except for how tiny the bowl is. If this is way more efficient that the solo2 I'm used to, then maybe it won't matter. But I know for sure that that size of a bowl in the solo wouldn't be big enough, and with this I have to wait longer in between bowls to let the bowl cool down, unless I end up getting some dosing caps. Except of course the dosing caps hold slightly less material which is also a bummer.

I also want to point out that the entire build of the Roffu looks so much nicer and more high-end in person. If the smell goes away, and the vaping experience is anything like people have been describing, then I think I got myself a quality vape. I'll come back and share more info once I've run some herb through it.
Thanks again for all the help from folks here in answering questions I had about it.

So what's everyone's preference and the most used bowel, you guys like the metal chamber or the glass?
Glass bowl, V3Pro or POTV One dosing capsule, glass mouthpiece from the WPA. With the dosing capsule I don't know if the glass or metal bowl makes a difference. The glass mouthpiece from the WPA is more elegant than the stock mouthpiece and works great. The dosing capsules add just a touch of conduction to drive the ABV to dark brown/black. Draws are almost effortless - it's my only convection vape where a lighter draw produces more vapor.

Sounds like you burned off any residuals from the unit to just deposit them into the CU?
I would clean the CU again and install the spare CU silicon/filter assy while you leave the other to dissipate the smell (sunny window sill for a week)
Sounds like your unit took nearly as long to get as mine was to get to Australia!

If I read things correctly we should do the burn off without any CU?
Hope mine doesn't smell like robot farts.

Oh yeah i did the burn off without the cu or oven tube. 100% the way to go.

I gotta try the wpa adapter soon once I make a ti mouthpiece tube/insert. Not a fan of it as is, but I might love it when I can hold down the button from a more comfortable angle.

REALLY enjoying the roffu. That on demand mode is everything I've been looking for, and the unit is so sleek and classy. I really love that the dry herb is so cleanly contained in the dosing cap, which is cleanly hidden away under the CU cap. Makes for a very nonorganic experience, which I love.
