My face is melting...
Been using my VG collection a lot lately...
It probably is an under appreciated vaping tool maybe because many people start off w. a VG and move on to more technical pieces relagating it to the status of a spare 'n share piece?
I recall my skepticism at OF's suggestion of using a torch, but have to say that I glad I've given it a chance. As counter intuitive as it may seem, combustion is less of an issue w. the torch vs. a candle flame lighter. I'm not sure why this is so, but it's been my experience and conclusion.
I've also found that the VG makes a better backwoods device than my other torch driven pieces. It's more pocketable than many portables and it's easier to "cup" the flame from the wind. If the torch lighter fails (which happened recently w. me and the Vapman), one can always fall back on a Bic style lighter if need be.
The HC VG adds a certain amount of "stealth" value too in that it looks all the world like a conventional tobacco pipe and doesn't attract the kind of attention that the Lotus or VM would get.
I don't know if I love any more than my Lotus or Vapman, but it deinately has a place in the quiver. The butane thing that so many people concern themselves over is kind of silly IMO. The flavor is decent, if a little harsher than the Lotus, and I can get awesome cloud bursts w. ease. In fact, I usually reserve it for outdoor use for this very reason. The Lotus is much more refind and lends itself better to my indoor needs.
