Do you stir your bowl while it is in the cloud? I used to do that and noticed the inner part of the tube collected a lot of dusty residue. I decided to take out the bowl first and then stir over a clean piece of white paper (or any smooth clean surface). I was shocked at how much dust fell through! I don't know if it contained any actives but a quick finger swipe over it and then back over the edge of the elb knocked it all back in. That sam bit of dust was falling through when I would stir while the elb was in the cloud. I always take out the elb and stir on a clean smooth surface, collect dust residue, and my cloud has stayed really clean after a month of no cleaning. Just my 2 cents..

Edit: My English is not as good as normal and my excuse is that I am cloudvaked and listening to trance on high quality buds before bed.

I must be really vaked, because all of that looks like perfect English to me. What model buds, by the way?

First, your English is just fine (I'm vaked too ). Second, I noticed the exact same thing a while ago, and ever since I've always removed the ELB before stirring.

I like to remove the ELB often anyway, between hits, and I do stir mine, there always seems to be green bits stuck around the sides after a hit or two... I had a small hair float down into my heat tube while it was at temp, between loads, and that was a nasty smelling little hair. Took a few mins to get the smell to go away.

It's ok to love your cloud - but not ok to LOVE your cloud - was that a pube? :-)

well, I don't know how you use your cloud, but I think it was a cat hair...

I don't think the shell is anodized: i cleaned it with some iso and some of the colour came off on the paper towel. not enough to create a visual problem on the cloud but you can see the material on the paper towel. further when i got my cloud on friday, it has been giving off a real awful strong chemical smell aka robot fart. its been getting less as i use it. it seems to be coming off the shell, further indicating that this is a paint or dye and not anodized.

Here are some pics of the silicone sleeve. i didn't like how it looked covering the whole cloud, it was especially ugly over the logo. so i cut the front part off. this works well. i do like the added grip of the silicone and it does make it cooler to touch although its still quite warm, which is fine.

So I received my bender from D9V and my batteries are charging but I have already found a 2nd use for its mouthpiece (great quality BTW): Cloud short turbo stem!

I like that wrap on 3 sides too... since I often have cold hands, I actually like picking up the warm cloud, but some times it does start to feel too hot as I hold it. I was thinking of cutting strips for the sides of the cloud, when I get my sleeve, leaving the front/back open.

I always shake my elb between hits. After each hit it the load moves from bottom to top, a good shake loosens it right up and keeps the hit and flavor super consistent IMO

I jus pack one hitters so I can jus crush it all in one or two hits at the most and not have to worry about wasting any.

Man, waiting on my Cloud again, is like waiting on it for the first time. I am so excited. I truly love this device so much. I think most Cloud users agree. For me, it really takes it to another level. And I mean, the Pax is an awesome standby, but in no way does it match the Cloud (to me). I mean don't get me wrong, Pax is incredible. But the Cloud is just that much more awesome. If they ever decide to make a portable Cloud (somehow), I would most likely be in for one of them LOL!

You know, I had the Cloud for a while, and I have this huge bong that I could pair it with, but I have never tried it because one, the stem is at 45 degrees and I'd have to hold it, and two, the HydraTree is so nice :-).

I just can't wait to get that first rip, yet again. :-)

Thanks for that tip. I actually only take one big hit from my ELBS. After that one hit, it is usually extracted enough for me to just dump out the material. I don't clean the ELB or the Cloud very much, so it was just build up from using a dirty ELB longer then I should have.

I wonder if there are any new ELB sizes coming at a certain point. I remember hearing of talks for smaller ones or party sizes, but I could just be rambling. That would be cool.

I was going to get an oil rig insead of a cloud untill I thought of having a blower make a 180• u stem with a large base to turn the hydra tube into a traditional oil rig. Is this a good idea?

It's a hydratube stand / 2nd chamber that makes the piece top-down vapor flow at the beginning.

Not the same as a rig though. IIRC the person who posted that said they didn't get a great hit, or it was airy or something. More similar to a horn used for hot knifing/vapor paddles, etc. Still cool, just won't give you the same dense hits you'd get with a regular nail/dome or curve / swing rig.

I nabbed a HydraCirc on BM, and got it shipped straight to fishbone to make the stemline chamber.
He asked me what bore I wanted, and I just told him to use whatever looked good

Now VXC, finalise that Intl version of the Cloud so I can use the HydraCirc how it was meant to be used.

I posted this on another related thread, but I figured I'd give you guys a good laugh. I have been using this same ELB since day one. I clean it in ISO once a week, but it's toast now. I ordered a set of new ones last week and I can't wait for them to arrive!

So I have had my cloud for about 3 months and finally got around to ordering a case for it. I ordered BP810 from my case builder, and designed a custom foam. The case holds the cloud, hydratube, grinder, 6 ez load bowls, and a pokey. Here are some pics.
