Nice looking setup you have on the last page. (travel case) I think I might bite the bullet, and pick up something similar. I checked out the mycasebuilder site, and looked at similar options to what you got, but waterproof. I found something, for not much more in cost, that is only slightly larger in size. Should accommodate the Cloud just fine, amongst everything else.

His looks like this hard insert while that looks like the soft plush foam you normally see.

The images I posted are 'stock images' from "Sea Horse" and the foam that comes with, will be like the foam Calvins case has.
You will not be able to fit the cloud in this case. The cloud measures 7.5" tall and the largest dimension of your case is 7.625". I LOVE my Cloud!!! After a long ass week of eating edibles like crazy and smoking bowl after bowl in the bong and some dabs my tolerance went through the roof at least for combusting. Much to my suprise today I loaded two .1g bowls and was feeling good for almost a full 2 hours. Combusting I can't recall the last time I was stoned for more than about 45-1hr before the lingering effects for another 30... I just loaded another two .1g elbows and I'm super stoned half way through the second.
I made the hole cutout 8"long x 1.75"wide x 2.5"deep and it is a good size, it could be smaller but it would be tight, especially depending on the depth.

Yep! That was my experience too. I've been using marijuana for my acute and chronic insomnia and needed a routine similar to yours to feel tired when I needed to sleep. Otherwise I'd be awake until dawn, pass out from exhaustion, wake up a few hours later to go to school and get really sick eventually from sleep deprivation. I believed my tolerance was too high for vaping alone to be enough to make me tired until I heard testimonials about the Cloud. I managed to justify buying a $500 dollar vape on the hypothesis that I would make up the money in a few years by conserving medicine. I was right. The first .15 ELB of heavy Indica I loaded in the Cloud at high temp knocked me on my ass and made me feel like I was smoking for the first times back when I was in high school! It's been said before but I'll say it again. Vaping has never felt so potent and efficient as from the Cloud. In the last 2 weeks without my Cloud I've been going through much more medicine trying to match the effect the Cloud gave me. It's just not happening.

Sorry to be a nuisance and ask but i lost track of this thread when I realized I wouldn't be able to get a cloud for the foreseeable future.
Hopefully one day I'll get to try one of these!
My next holiday is to NY on Halloween and then L.A afterwards. I had a dream not so long ago that I got hold of a cloud and brought it back home with me whilst out there! It broke when i got it home though and i woke up very distraught and worried about how i was gonna get my cloud fixed!!

yeah, I didn't have mine for about 2weeks as well but we only had a few days to play with it before it malfunctioned. Still don't know exactly what happened to my unit but that burning electronic smell it left in our room for hours was reason enough to not try and turn it back on even if it was alright, I wasn't taking that chance. I can't wait till we get our new place and I can secure the cloud on my desk at all times instead of on and off a shelf in the bedroom to the bathroom. not the best sitution for cloud use. During the day I sit on the floor in the room and at night before bed I take it into the bathroom with me. Can't wake the wife up coughing and we don't smoke in the livingroom in our shared living space.

Not really, we needed to be with Family right now. I used to love the cold and rain but after a winter, spring, summer and fall in the Desert Southwest I fell in love with the dry heat.

I had the day off. I had an idea after a Cloud session, while looking through my cabinet (med supplies/vape storage) browsing through misc. glass adapters/broken pieces.
I went to the garage, with a piece of wood, that was a shelf on a computer desk. Shelf met the Dremel. Multiple trips to and from the garage and my room (Cloud home base) I had completed my project. Before I go any further, let me just say, if you have any inclination to have some sort of stand/station for your Cloud / Hydra tube, just get one from Deadfooddesigns...Unless your a pro.
I came out with this. While functional, for now, it's really nothing to right home about. Yet, here I am, writing home about it

When the cloud has been on for a while, and the temperature dial is 1-3pm+, is it normal to see a mild red glow on the glass when I flip the power off?
I'm assuming it IS normal, but I could have sworn I read something about seeing red after turning off is a sign of a defective unit.
The red glow on the glass would certainly explain how you could vape an entire ELB on retained heat after its off.

speaking of a spare for the cloud. today i got the arizer solo 18mm stem from planetvape. i tried it in my solo with the swagger double i got with my cloud. i would say it gives 60-70% of the quality as with a cloud. so i think if you have a solo, get the stem and there is a decent stand in if you need it.
