Discontinued VapeXhale Cloud EVO

I haven't found the quartz nails to offer an advantage. I haven't tried but you may be able to torch the quartz version to clean? For the price, I'm nervous to try to torch them. I seem to get more residue in the bottom of the quartz ones, so I actually prefer the glass nails.
I clean the glass ones with a torch. It takes quite awhile to get them completely clean. Even though it seems that the torch should be able to deform the glass I have not been able to do it and
I am trying. I am careful to heat the glass up slowly before I torch the shit out of it. I like having my glass completely clean so I guess I will keep doing this until I break one and then I will
think about getting the quartz ones.

Damn still so tempted by this one even though realistically I don't need it at all... Sales is practically wiped out by now

Unfortunately seems like the hydratree starter kit is sold out now today, EDITyet the hydratree on its own is still available so maybe there is hope?tube alone sold out too now... I see the honeycomb starter kit was sold out yesterday and re added today it looks like?

Still kinda bummed there's no free shipping for a purchase this large though, kinda ridiculous imo when the high end portables seem to offer it, but I guess with this much money already what's another $25 really?

You won't regret it. I'm loving mine (just got it this past friday)

edit: btw, does anyone have any tips as to how to speed up the drying process of the HT after hot water rinses? I have a honeycomb and there's always a small amount of water trapped at the bottom that ends up condensing along the sides of the glass. Not exactly sanitary as it can promote bacterial growth.

I picked up a $30 hair drier for this very reason. It seems to work good until the amount of heat generated causes the drier to shut down. You have to hold it right up to it for a seal to really be effective, but doing that traps too much heat.

I tried putting a HT in a bag full of rice. There was still the same amount of water 24 hours later. and getting rice out of a HT is not fun.

My guess so far is to do what you can, but don't sweat it too bad. Just keep them clean. Every week or so a long ISO soak should pretty much sanitize it. My next day off I'm going to search for a proper, airtight container to hold the ISO so I can keep a nice size canister to just drop a piece into for overnight soaks.

If you have an air compressor or a manual tire pump it should pump out enough air to dry away what remains.

I have an Herbalizer and sometimes use the fan assist to dry my pieces through forced air.

Most air compressors have pretty dirty air coming out of them, don't think I'd want that anywhere near my glass.

Maybe I should have been a little more specific. I had in mind a medical compressor pump for nebulized breathing treatments. Although I actually imagine someone with some fabrication experience could rig a garage compressor up to an ultra-fine medical grade micron filter, but that would be far pricier than the compressor I imagined.

The medical compressors can compress anywhere between 0-15 liters per minute and can be had fairly cheap on the lower end of the spectrum (though most models under 50 bucks probably average around 2-3 liters per minute). The air that they pump is only as dirty as the environmental air you're breathing already.

Thanks for pointing it out, I should have better clarified.

.............................................................................

you might want to try a different technique.
- invert cleaned HT with excess water inside and blow hard (with your mouth) to get the majority out.
Try holding it at some different angles to help water have an easy exit.
- I'm most concerned with water in the bottom section as top gets water added anyhow so I keep it inverted and snug hairdryer to bottom entry port for 5 seconds and then hold HT sideways and shoot hairdryer onto any pools of water you see inside.

Alternating keeps the drier from shutting down.

When I cleaned my tube, I actually got most of the water out, sans for a few drops in the bottom, and whatever was still left in the stem.....I actually just kept my EVO on when I was cleaning, and then I made sure the joint was dry and just took a few hits of just hot air. Seemed to get rid of the rest of the water (seemed minimal anyways)

@Shit Snacks I thought the same thing, but I'm of the belief they have some sort of expediting feature built into that price. (could be wrong?) I got mine in 1 Day basically, ordered late at night on Columbus Day, they process Tuesday, and tried delivering Wednesday (no one home). Very fast service, and it arrived safe and sound :) They also shipped out of a PA location? Forget the name offhand but it was northeast. Don't know if West Coasters/East Coasters have different origin points.

There is no expediting feature. FedEx has a map online showing the 1-day delivery zones for FedEx home delivery based on point of origin. You must live in PA, NJ, Southern NY, Western CT, or somewhere close by. I also recieved mine in one day and I'm in New York.

I'm assuming they have distribution centers on either coast, but im not sure about that.

I was a little upset about having to pay $25 for shipping, but at least that's right around what it actually costs to ship and there isnt some huge "handling" component built in to the shipping charge that squeezes in extra profit for the company.

They got my evo to my door in less than 48 hours for $384.98 (with a hydratree). Given how fucking awesome this piece is, there's absolutely nothing I can complain about with regard to purchasing the unit (aside from some small trouble I had with the glass vapexnails over the first few days).

Do you have a link for what you use now? the cheap bubbler please? I do not want to lose all the taste..

I use this one...

If you just want a cheap & simple single perc from dhgate, the D020-D I linked previously is one of your cheapest options. Barely any draw restriction & smooth purr through the perc

Other slight variations:
The FC-187
The GB-187

[edit] The standard D020 (no-D) is even cheaper, but has an even simpler perc.

Anyone else finding that they don't actually save any money using the EVO?

I'm sure some of you do, but i bought the thing cause its a rippers vape and it gets me feeling nice in just two or three hits and that's what I use it for - to get me feeling nice.

So now I consume about the same amount, but I just get a much stronger effect :science:

Personally the strain can make the world of difference. Some strains I can load as little as 0.03g's start it on 1 and get 3 fat hits that will leave me satisfied for a couple of hours; other strains twice that amount gets me one decent hit and leave me wanting more -which is when I smoke twice the amount.

Being from UK it really is pot luck on what you get, unless you grow it yourself which I don't. This week for instance I have smoked twice the amount so I can feel relief for my anxiety, just to get the hole in the stomach feeling gone in the mornings that likes to stay with me through the day.

Don't waste your money on RezBlock, just get some Nature's Way Cranberry Extract (or NACE). Same ingredient, but much cheaper. Half the price, twice the amount.

Hey thanks for the heads up on this. So this is the exact same ingredients then? Some people have been advising me on Rezblock but this is the first time I heard of this.

Here's a better one(thanks to my buddy for the link)
Botanic Choice
Iooked up if they had a discount code and they do!
Discount CODE:BCCPN25
Should be about $11 and some change for two bottles shipped.

Very good looking out! Do you or have you personally used this? Does adding any of these additives really prevent anything from forming around the problem areas?

Agreed with Slowdraw, it works extremely well. Just one or two drops and you're good to go. Any pure cranberry extract will work. I've never personally used the Botanical brand, but I have no doubts it will work. It will be what I order when I run out of my current bottle of Nature's Answer.

So this anniversary sale seems to be going until there is nothing left to sell.

What happens then?

Is there something big coming? Or do they just get another shipment go back to biz as usual?

Anyone have any thoughts on the grav HTs? I don't know much about glass, even less about the new tubes (or are they just reintroduced old tubes?) that have been put up recently. They certainly look nice! Although I'm guessing it's not worth having more than one HT for the EVO if I'm not exactly a glass connoisseur, LOL.
