Glad to hear you are having success and thank you for the feedback!!! I stopped using my MFLB before the Finishing Grinder was introduced; they had a Nano Grinder or something of the sort out that was designed to fit into the top, but I never purchased it. FYI none of these grinders ever "came with" the MFLB, they are optional accessories just like the Power Adapter or Orbiter. Personally - I just used my cheapo Sharpstone upside down for a bit, then flipped it over and finished the grind to get it to drop into the storage chamber. The MFLB wanted a REALLY fine grind for me to get the most I could out of it- and I never had as dialed a hitting technique as many MFLB'ers perfect with time....
With my Cloud EVO, I picked up a Santa Cruz Shredder after reading a ton of positive feedback from various vaporists with this particular grinder. Mine is 2.75" diameter, and it produces perfect consistency fill for joints. The EVO seems to be happy with it, but sometimes I wonder if I got too big a model because my grind isn't very fine, does the Small have any finer of grind? I have used my old Sharpstone upside down to get a little finer of a grind for the Evo on a few different strains and it did *seem* to produce a bit milkier vapor at 12' than my Shredder with no tom foolery.... *SEEM* being key for my medicated mind...
I use a clean pokey to gently poke the Shredder's output into the EZLB, otherwise, it doesn't get all the way 'in'. And I don't want to 'pack" it down and potentially over-fill it becuause that can lead to reduced airflow and cloud production as well. I shoot to fill it half full, to give the cap a little breathing room - is this sound thinking or is there a more efficient fill? What's the best approach to getting the EZLB loaded correctly? Once I came across my gentle prod/poke method, I forgot to keep experimenting...
