...
I gotta get back to work but I'll post a couple photos of my pups later today
Thanks for solving the mystery of who bought the Indian Rosewood (from page 315 of this thread). Looking forward to the photos!

Heya Dogs, if you're waiting on us to answer a message or email please bear with us for a bit longer.

We're totally swamped and are making our way through them as fast as we can. No delays on shipping orders or working on Dogs just on time available in the office with which to answer messages.

Everyone should have a response by tonight though so we're not too far behind at least.

Truly beautiful Dog @VaporsVaporizer , I may have to get one of @Snappo 's exotics when my name comes up for the HI in like a year.

In the meantime, I've also got a new Pooch on the way! Ordered a gorgeous little Red Elm twig from the site and it shipped out today. I will ofcourse report back once it arrives and I get to put in some quality time with it. Excited to finally join the pack!

My little red elm pup just arrived! Its warming itself up now but I'll try it out shortly...

However, is it normal for it to smell and see fumes when I warm it up though? Do those go away? I'll probably be using it below 12, but I could see wisps even around 10v give or take as well... Any help?

EDIT: so after an hour or so it still seems to be fuming, they're not as thick at 12.4v as they were before but they are still visible with a flash light and I can still smell a slight something burning? Not sure what exactly, its kinda different than anything I've ever smelt in a portable unit (only time ive experienced offgassing fumes before).

So will these continue to thin out and go away eventually? Should I just check back in like 5 hours?(!) Anyone else experience this with their new Dog?

And Side note now: not seeing fumes on 11v anymore (still smell/taste it though, and see the fumes at higher voltage still as well) so tried it anyway while I wait for a response. Couple light hits with the Nong through a honeycomb and yeah... Already know I made the right decision regardless, so tiny and beautiful, so efficient and powerful...

Oh I Member
I bought a small HVY bubbler earlier today to use strictly for my pup. Before today, my friend and I were using a makeshift bong using the long glass stem, but now it feels soooo much nicer using all glass. The hits are sooo clean.
I left it at my friends house on accident so pics will come as soon as he sends them to me :D

Heya SS, I'm still on my family weekend getaway but wanted to respond real quick anyways. What you're experiencing is the residual wax/oil (ie Underbutter) from finishing the Dog burning off. Usually it all burns off during the 3 day testing period we put them through but sometimes certain woods will wick up and hold on to it a bit longer and take a while longer to get rid of it all. I'd suggest putting the Pup somewhere with some ventilation (so the smell won't bother you if you find it distasteful) and let it run at 12v - 12.5v overnight or until it stops.

Alright, back to vacation, should be back tomorrow or the next day.. let me know if it resolves itself.

Enjoy!

Hope all you Dogs out there are having a good (and safe - Stu!) holiday weekend!

Let's try this image thing again...

It is Amboyna burl and I love it :D

I'm finding that even though my bubbler doesn't milk up, I'm blowing out HUGE clouds.
Basically my technique is to set the VVPS at about 12.8 or 12.9, inhale slowly for a bit then have a quick burst of increased inhalation. Repeat that until my lungs are mostly full, clear the chamber, fill the rest of my lungs with air, then slightly exhale to see if there's vapor coming out. If there is, I inhale again and do that as many times as necessary.
Seems to be working for me

Received my new to me Ash Lost Dog. Set it at 12v to start out. I'm trying to find an ideal screen placement. I already have a twig (second hand as well) but didn't have a gong until now. Can't wait! I'll post pics soon.
