I knew this at one point I think but can't figure this out now: I want to lower the temp. I looked at the tubo page and also looked at most of the settings on the tubo and still can't figure it out. Maybe I should just change my name from little maggie to low techie. Also I need to know what the lowest F temp would work.

whatever temp you set it to cruise will start in

There isn't a heat range to set. Whatever you set it at, it'll run the whole cruise session at that temp...

7 minutes of vape time? 7 minutes represents at least 4 maybe 5 refills of the basket screens in my usage. AVB quite uniform and dark. I have a 90 second cruise and rarely need a second go. I use 200 C, however, if temp adjustments / stepping were easier to change I would start at lower temps.

I mean, temp stepping just requires me to adjust the temp to desired level and then re-enter cruise mode so it's not bad...

The only improvement I could see is if it were automatic lol. That, and a draw sensor to help 'idle' battery drain during cruise and then... what?

What do other people think the tubo could use?

My Tubo arrived. Looks even better on real life. It's amazing. Smaller than I imagined. It's beautiful

I have a two 12 months old about Samsung 30q batteries and with both my screen just flashes and says something like no atomizer, is that most likely the batteries are no good. They claim to be charged.

It very well could be the batteries (as this is typically what happens to me when I get my battery too low to really use)
but I do know the 'no atomizer' error has been trouble for others before.

Do you have other batteries you can test?

If not, can you test those 30q in another device and see if they work there?


If they work in the other device, it may be your tubo (but I wouldn't rule it out until trying a new battery)

Hey... I'm a little late to the "milk your tubo through glass" party here, JaneMary, I think the others have answered your question well, and yes it can, but it depends on alot of factors.

I have here a small klein recycler rig, not a very big capacity, so my relatively low-temp vape goes straight to my chest through this rig, but it does cloud up the piece a little bit before I inhale it.

Not white-walling the rig, maybe, but I think I'm getting some nice clouds for 370F and a lung-challenged user This vid is already 2 weeks old, I'm getting better with my tubo and could probably show some better work today...

So I'm still loving my "new" tubo, I don't see it getting boring anytime soon. I am one of those wheezy, sensitive throat guys. And with the wide open airflow, powerful convection and reasonable temp control, I think I have more than met my match. This thing will deliver more than I can take, even at 360-365F, when I huff it hard! It will easily make me cough if I test the tubo too hard. I'm scared to go above 380, 385F is the highest I went.

wow lucas! That's like 460F! That is hot enough to combust your herbs, and from the look of your flower after those hits, it looks like you were getting a little charring and combustion around the edges of your bowl....

But hey! If you're more healthy than me and you can take that hot vape and big clouds, and that's what makes you happy, go for it! That's demonstrating what the tubo is capable of. Looks like you still had a few good puffs after those 2 in your video, too

My main complaint / dislike(s) with the tubo so far:

The screen above the glass heaters has an inconvenient curvature around the edges, creating a tight seam or crevice with the edge of the glass. Vaped flowers easily get caught in the space, and are a pain to remove. I use a curved / angled metal pick to get the spent flowers out from this place, and also I sometimes blow through the bottom of the tubo to blow out any old material.

Also, I favor a fine grind on my flowers, and I see alot of flower dust, kiefy specs and fine herb particles have fallen underneath the screen, especially around the middle bulge of the glass joint, and even a few into the glass convection "tubos" I can see this stuff when I hold the glass half of the tubo up against bright light. This seems like a sealed device; not intended to be opened up and cleaned and dis-assembled by the end-user. This makes it pretty hard to get all that old material out of the airway.

The best idea I have is to blow harder, with compressed air / co2. I can use large high-pressure co2 canisters at work. @funkyjunky do you think it's ok to blow this high-pressure gas to clear out some of the junk in my tubo, or do you think that may damage it?

Just wondering if you're using a double screen system. I use one of Ddave's stems that has a screen inserted. They come with that and a rimmed screen. I haven't had a problem with a fine grind when the herb is between those 2 screens. I'm using them with water now along with the whip and the whip inserts into the stem with no problem.

@Vape Donkey 650 I think the reason you are complaining is because of bubbler/bong blow back ,which happens due to lack of carb hole,too much water,or just imperfect design,try removing the tubo off the bowl before you finish your draw.
I have removed my screen numerous time for cleaning,i just soak in EtOH. For cleaning i use the vaccum cleaner with a wrapped sock around its tube,cause i dont wanna scratch my tubo or even touch it with that dirty vaccum tube. I do both holes and it is like new . The main idea of the screen is to protect the 3 tubes, so particles dont get into the coils,it is no biggie if there is some space between the gong wall and the screen. You dont want to blow canned air into your tubo..,to me it smells like rubber.. and i think there is some lubricant inside to protect the can from corrosion,i tried ones blowing canned air trough a white cloth and it left some black oily spots on it.

I agree with @Abysmal Vapor

The vacuum cleaner helped me when I dropped my tubo quite hard and I think I got dirt in the little tubos!

My internal screen is bent almost entirely down so it's fairly useless tbh. I just use the ELB lids to cap the packed male joints whenever I use my tubo, and I don't think anything else has gotten in there since then (and I certainly use my tubo enough...)

Even still, a quick blow in both ends (and the vacuum cleaner if necessary) leaves me feeling pretty confident in the cleanliness of my tubo.

yeh no combustion on those draws just charring , you can tell when you combust as the smoke turns yellow and you are hit with a the pure ass taste of smoke.

Ii would agree that the one of the downsides of this unit is the sealed nature of it, if it had a hinge on one of the heaters surrounds that let you disassemble and clean, although then funky would have to deal with a load of tubos broken by their inexperienced owners, my internal glass is starting to turn golden from using it upside down on the rig. wonder what the inside of my mighty looks like after 2 years a slave.

i cant deal with dirty glass, i get 5 l of iso at a time and wash my glass every day or 2, just the internals i cant get to lol

I'm tempted to heat the glass enough to coax the oil out and dab it but I'll probably just make some stem milk or something.

Looks to be way too much in there to wash away.

Have you tried your Tubo Evic with our TopHat system? I've been pumping unground buds into our short and medium stems and really loving the Tubo on Cruise. I don't see a reason to use it otherwise, if I want to push a button, then I'll grabba Milaana.
