hello friends!
Does anyone else notice some bugs in the software? Main one is temp sometimes cuts off after only a second or two of holding the button. A bit annoying. Also... The display not wanting to flip as i mentioned earliar.
what do you mean by "temp cuts off"? as
@pakalolo said i have had this with my cuboid150w, and think its the button on this particular model. i think the buttons on the evics (vtwo mini/vtc dual) are not affected by this and should work all the time.
here is a video how to flip the screen (all models running tubomyevic should flip):
also
@SloJimFizz you can see how to flap the flappybird
I havnt used the warm up, but have tried manually warming up by hitting the button a few seconds before I hit it (is the warm up function similar?
the warmup mode heats always to 245degC and keeps the heater on temp until it uses less than 20watts to maintain, then it autoshuts itself off.
Hey everyone, I just received my tubo today and just had some questions! I've read through this entire forum so I feel like I'm pretty caught up with everything tubo related, but when I received my tubo it didn't have a TCR value inside the battery door and the device was set to .217(which I thought might be too hot). I first tried putting it in warm-up and the coils were glowing red and then it gave me a battery too weak/device too hot warning, so I then turned down the coils to .200 and things seem better now and the coils aren't glowing anymore. I guess I just wanted to check if that was an okay setting to have the coils at since I have nothing to go off of and am not too familiar with the TCR settings. Thanks so much to
@funkyjunky for the awesome vape and to anyone else who can help! Loving the tubo so far
hmm. can you send me your order number in private? sloppy to not have included the resistance, it should be written on the bottom side of the battery door, there is a little space of wood under the metal part.
yes as others have said, the coils should not glow. they might do so very slightly at 245degC-260degC in the dark. if you can see it in daylight, the coil resistance in the menu is too high.
I to experience problems I’ve had mine a little over a week gone to use tonight check all settings and they are as they should be, problem I cant seem to get it to temp even when I put in warmup mode it jumps straight to 530 and cuts out any thoughts or help would be appreciated and cruise mode the same. Cheers
Quick update my tcr value is value is 0.207 on the battery door I’ve now tuned it up 0.220 and it’s stop cutting out on warmup and now gets warm again but the coils are glowing bright red now on heat up is this ok? I’m gonna stop messing now in till I get some feed back .
warmup mode is only "working" properly when the tubo is cold and needs a warm up. it should run around 10 to 30seconds. after the initial warmup cycle a repeated warmup will terminate very quickly since the coils are hot already.
if warmup runs for 40seconds+ the coil resistance is likely too high.
cruise mode should not cut out.
as
@sickmanfraud correctly said: coils should not glow.
Coils are not supposed to glow, even in warm up mode? Mine do glow very slightly and just in warmup mode. Is that bad?
yep. they might glow slightly in the dark. bright red coils indicates a too high coil resistance.
there are discussions around bright red coils degrading faster.
to get guaranteed results with the tubo:
lets see if we can get you on track.
please check that the value on the line COIL is the same as the one indicated inside on your battery door.
if not, adjust it in 'menu>coils>manage' at the line TCR, make sure the lock symbol is there when you leave the menu.
take your stem, remove the metal basket screen and fill your material inside the glass joint. cap it with the basket screen and insert into tubo.
tripple click the fire button to engage "warm up" mode. it will run for something between 10 and 30 seconds (only the first time, after that it will terminate quickly). then set it to 200C or 400F and double click the fire button to start "cruise mode". draw steadily for around 15 seconds, maybe at increased inhaling speed as the tubo likes that. by the seconds draw it should produce clearly visible vapor. if you continue to do this you should get baked
capsule stem samples are in!
vapcap compatibility brought to you by
@Padriano! big up! also the mouth end will fit 14mm glass joins.
