First, Welcome to FC. The TM2 is a versatile vape. If you want to sip. Sip. If you want to Rip also works great!

If you like to return to the same stem you can pack as much or as little as you want. IMO, the TM is the best vape available today.

Remember an important fact, the TM2 should last and last. Your usage patterns may change and you can modify your technique and use the TM2 in a way you have not considered yet.

If you buy a "sipper" and then your desire is no longer to sip you may then need a TM2 anyway.

Also, I realize that I am a minority opinion here, but I don't care for the Milaana. I have a hard time with unregulated vapes either burning or not getting a good extraction.

Agree with other member comments on TM2 regarding the sipping use case.

It may not be ideal, but the unit is pretty flexible. For example, the fast on demand heat up is conducive to short, intermittent sessions. Additionally, leaving partially vaped herb in a bowl can make cleaning more challenging (sticks to sides after cooling). Using a glass stem and basket screen with the TM2 helps quite a bit since it's easy to remove to clean it, or swap out with a new stem.

Hey, I've seen you in a bunch of TM2 posts and hope you don't mind I ask a few questions.

I have one on the way but I'm wondering if it was a mistake for my situation. I was considering returning it before I open the box.

I'm upgrading from a MFLB and the rave reviews had me pulling the trigger on the TM2. The more I read about it now, the more I think it will be heavier than I am looking for.

You're one of the few I see mentioning temp stepping and sessions longer than 3 hits. I was wondering if you had some thoughts here because this is something I love about the MFLB. I'm a very light / infrequent user and I'd love to pack a little and keep returning to it slowly as needed, even up to 10 hits. Sometimes over a few days (I know this might be sacrilege ha.)

I've also been super interested in a Milaana because I dug the manual control of my MFLB. Just analog and stupid, in a way that seems fun to me. It feels like I could learn to pull some really nice, small/chill hits from the Millana. I've been considering a Sticky Brick for the same exact reasons. User experience/ritual/skill based seems kind of fun and it seems like I could really tailor my experience down to a relaxed pace if I wanted. I just have to get used to looking like I'm smoking crack.

Any overall thoughts here?

I might cave and bust open that TM2 that arrives tomorrow anyways, but I'm worried it's gonna be a 2-3 hit ripper and not a relaxed backyard sipper.

I typically get 6 hits off a fairly small load. Three hits at 6 on the dial and then two more at 6, moving to 7 or 8 for the last hit.

I don't consider this sipping, more like just getting as much effect as possible from a load. But some folks here start way lower than 6.

I think 10 hits may be optimistic, but if you start at a very low temp and don't take huge hits, it may be possible.

I will say, like every other vape I've tried, once you start vaping the flower, the flavor drops off after the first few hits. You can still get effects from later hits, but they just won't be that tasty. As a result, many people with good access to flower don't bother wringing the effects out of a load.

But for me, old habits die hard! And one of the great things about the TM is it is very versatile in this regard.

I'll look into those. The airmax is pretty cheap at the moment too and sippable from what I hear.

Still down to hear if anyone has developed a slower TM2 pace.

I'm still pretty new to this all, so there's a chance I might actually like hard and fast microdoses from the TM2.

It sounds like you can really nuke a few crumbs and still have a great experience.

My gut tells me I'd rather be able to pack something larger and grab it multiple times over a longer window rather than having to repack though.

If you ever want to address someone directly type the "@" symbol and the first few letters of their name, it will popup a list of names to choose from. That way they get a notification and know they've been tagged. Or quote them by hitting the reply button which does the same thing.

When I first started vaping I tried "packing larger" for multiple sessions and discovered it wasn't for me. Once you apply heat most of the flavor-full terpenes are gone and when you go back it is tasteless at best and sometimes tastes actively bad. Reloading doesn't take long with practice and is so much more enjoyable. But that's me, it might be different for you.

All of my worries went away. I've been chillin all day and haven't gotten too far gone with it. It can absolutely do some longer, chill sessions.

Granted I filled and went through 2 mini pods but they were fun to prepare ahead of time and then just drop on. I got maybe 5-6 smaller draws per pod.

I know a lot of people don't like the pods, but my bud was already ground SUPER fine for my MFLB and the pods were the only way to actually fill the stem with that powder.

I'm stoked to try this with some fresh herb with a medium grind.

They are with the bigger red o-rings that the TRWW MP comes with. I bought an HA TM 18mm WPA and TRWW TM MP to use backwards with my Stempod SI. Didn't end up liking the stempod though, will probably buy a TM2 though.

I think the closest thing to a solo stem I found was the Grav Octotaster. It has a glass screen built in, but it can still let some scooby snacks through.

The 14mm glass WPA has a built in glass screen. So you could go that route.

I had to drill my screen to provide a little better airflow, but in the end I switched over to the 18mm WPA w/o built in glass screen - much better airflow for a fully convection vape.

Hey all, just got my unit back from a trip to Finland and back to get repaired, and I'm failing at being able to adjust the temperature range to where I had it prior. When I turn the dial to to 0 and click three times, it doesn't seem to register the three clicks the first time I do it. As in, I have to do 2 sets of three clicks to get the lights and buzz. Any idea what's up? The three clicks work fine to turn it on and off normally...

And according to the appendix at the back you have to turn the dial to 0 and click 3 times, 5 times to change the temperature range.

Yeah, so 5x total. I did try 4x total for shits and giggles and same result. I suspect it's not registering the clicks for this mode, as it sometimes takes two series of clicks to get one vibration, yet it turns on and off at other temp values just fine.

Try turning the dial to three or four or higher, then clicking three times, then turn it down to zero once the unit is on. It won't turn on if the dial is set to zero.

If you want to switch between session and on demand mode, you still have to have the dial above two or three, then you click three times but hold on the third click until you get the haptic feedback that the mode has changed.

Yesterday has been incredible.
I got my new TM2 !!! 30 hours after it was picked up by DHL, that is a new record for me! and Finland is quite far away.
I am so grateful and happy!
It will take some time until I give my full review, but here are some first impressions:

1. The device build is better, is it mess-produced now? I like the finish, very solid.
2. I love the new system for battery levels. I really needed that! no more turning the device on and off to check for the battery.
3. The battery cap is nice, I'm not bothered as I thought I would be. I didn't have much issue with the original cap, but I understand this change and I think it's worth it.
4. Speaking of the battery, is it possible it lasts longer? 3 bowls on green lights seem like a lot.
5. The vibrations are not as loud as in the original TM. Not sure I prefer this.
6. The stir tool. Yes! Finally, this was much needed. I like its placement and subtle design.
7. Beast Mode and Stealth Mode - both are cool new additions. I'm not sure about Beast though. I guess that's for concentrates and WPA? I wish I had some to test it out, not sure it compares to max settings in the original. As for stealth, it's a cool idea, I can see some case uses for it, but I don't really need that, maybe once in like 100-200 uses. By the time I'd have to use it, I'd probably forget how to turn it on lol.
8. The new stainless steel stem is a great addition. While I don't plan to use it (I don't like to use the CU if I don't have to), I will keep it close to me since it's unbreakable, and we need more unbreakable parts.
9. I can't really say if the performance is better, it could be a little less harsh, I only used it on level "6", but most of the performance is dependent on the way you pack and inhale anyways.

Overall, I am very pleased with the small little upgrades. For those who use this device as a daily driver, I would consider upgrading. This is the "definitive" edition of TinyMight.

Glad you’re enjoying your TM2! When my OG’s board was replaced (5 months ago) battery seems to last a bit longer with older and newer batteries in my cell rotation. Still waiting patiently for a RED TM2. I will definitely buy a second of my FAVORITE portable vape!
