TinyMight / TM 2

Vaporific

All who wander are not lost...
Can anyone recommend a nice (soft)case for the TM2? I want to take mine for a walk in the forest. It would be cool if there is some space for stems as well.
Maybe you know something :)
A soft case pouch was posted herein not too long ago. It came in a few patterns I think. Search back in the thread. :peace:

Has anyone been able to do a disassembly of the TinyMight 2 yet (with pictures as proof) to actually confirm the new claim of an isolated airpath on the TM2? I know that the website states that it is, but I am a follower of the "trust, but verify" school of thought - especially so when the person selling is the one making the claim.

Also wondering if they still use the ceramic rods inside the coiled SS heating element like in the original TinyMight?

Hello, I bought my Tiny Might from second hand which fell and was sent for service to Finland. When he came back I noticed that there was no screen protector anywhere. I don't know where to put it because I haven't seen any pictures online. Can someone show me pictures of where it is mounted?

For now, I will do as in the pictures.

You just have to put back ce cylinder of pictures 2 and 3 into the hole of picture 1, cylinder screen on the bottom, the put the big red o-ring on top of that, then screw the stem aluminum ring to hold it together ?

You misunderstood me. I know how to put everything together. I don't know if I put the screen protector correctly. Screen protector should be put in the metal cylinder like in the 2nd and 3rd picture or should I put it in the metal piece in the 1st picture?
Can you show me what it looks like on your device?

In the first picture we see a disk perforated by drilled holes. These holes are in a one-piece metal disk that is placed between and centers the lower heater-glass tube and the upper oven-glass tube. This piece does not come out when the stem ring, O-ring, and metal oven-tube are removed.
It can only be removed/replaced by removing the top-cover.

The screen seen in the metal oven-tube is correctly placed. The two screens are not interchangeable.
Edited to add picture showing perforated disk that centers the upper and lower glass tubes and protects the heater coils.

Thank you, I didn't know where this screen protector should be installed, so I installed it in a metal oven-tube. For a moment I thought about putting it on a disk perforated by drilled holes in the middle.

That inner glass is much thicker than the TM1.

Tinymightvapes took a great vape (TM1) and made it stronger and better!!

Got my TM2 last night. I love it! Still working out some kinks with dosing but getting there. Just a pain to keep scraping out screen and repacking etc so I just bought a few more tall tm stems from VGoodiEZ to keep packed and just rotate till I'm good. Two thumbs up so far.
Also bought a ton of rimmed screens to pre pack and swap in and out.

Should I order a few more batteries and fast charger for back up. Even though when home or in car it's plugged in while I use?

Yes, spare batteries are needed. You should stop vaping with it plugged in. It's not designed for pass-through power and keeping it plugged in doesn't help or improve anything. It can harm the battery if you let it drain too low while plugged in. Most people recommend you charge the cells with an external charger, it's better for the cells and micro USB ports have a very high failure rate (in general, not specifically in the TM).

Nice! Haha yeah I had the same fear when I was unpacking my delivery from him yesterday, the prophet mouthpiece in particular, although I kind of figured that's what it was...

There are three types of dry herb catchers that Sneaky Pete sells and are also available on Aliexpress.

These are really good for keeping cannabis particles out of your water-piece.

I find that they are especially useful if you want a 100% glass air-path and I use the TM 3 in 1 WPA without a screen

Hey, I've seen you in a bunch of TM2 posts and hope you don't mind I ask a few questions.

I have one on the way but I'm wondering if it was a mistake for my situation. I was considering returning it before I open the box.

I'm upgrading from a MFLB and the rave reviews had me pulling the trigger on the TM2. The more I read about it now, the more I think it will be heavier than I am looking for.

You're one of the few I see mentioning temp stepping and sessions longer than 3 hits. I was wondering if you had some thoughts here because this is something I love about the MFLB. I'm a very light / infrequent user and I'd love to pack a little and keep returning to it slowly as needed, even up to 10 hits. Sometimes over a few days (I know this might be sacrilege ha.)

I've also been super interested in a Milaana because I dug the manual control of my MFLB. Just analog and stupid, in a way that seems fun to me. It feels like I could learn to pull some really nice, small/chill hits from the Millana. I've been considering a Sticky Brick for the same exact reasons. User experience/ritual/skill based seems kind of fun and it seems like I could really tailor my experience down to a relaxed pace if I wanted. I just have to get used to looking like I'm smoking crack.

Any overall thoughts here?

I might cave and bust open that TM2 that arrives tomorrow anyways, but I'm worried it's gonna be a 2-3 hit ripper and not a relaxed backyard sipper.

Who are you talking to friend? :) You made a new post rather than replying to an existing one.

The TM2 isn't really what anyone would call a sipper. Turn it down to 3 - 3.5 and it will work OK, but it's a little more than you need. Vapes like the Milaana and Sticky Brick are similar, they get mentioned here a lot because they aren't sippers.

You might be happier with something like a Solo 2 or POTV One.

Ha that was an attempt to reply to shit snacks.

I'll look into those. The airmax is pretty cheap at the moment too and sippable from what I hear.

Still down to hear if anyone has developed a slower TM2 pace.

I'm still pretty new to this all, so there's a chance I might actually like hard and fast microdoses from the TM2.

It sounds like you can really nuke a few crumbs and still have a great experience.

My gut tells me I'd rather be able to pack something larger and grab it multiple times over a longer window rather than having to repack though.

Yeah I would say try it out on the lowest possible settings or with the smallest crumbs, it is more versatile than you think! I prefer all glass setups WPA with hook etc
